Beaucoup de charme pour cet hôtel bien entretenu et à l'équipe accueillante et très professionnelle. Situé à l'écart du centre touristique de Stockholm (à 5 min en vélo), il fait face à un superbe paysage (parc Haga et lac) d'un côté mais borde l'autoroute et une zone en plein travaux de l'autre. A condition de ne pas ouvrir les fenêtres il n'y a toutefois […] pas vraiment de nuisances sonores liées à cette proximité. Les petits déjeuners sont top et les repas pris au restaurant face au lac contribuent effectivement au bien être et à la détente ressentie durant le séjour (cuisine de bonne qualité). Hotel hors de ville mais beaucoup plus confortable que ceux en centre pour un prix équivalent. La situation près du parc permet de chouettes balades ou footing, par contre de l'autre côté on donne sur le periphérique mais le bruit ne s'en ressent pas trop.

Room was small, with view of main roads. No noise, though, and room was nice and clean. Other side of hotel had views of a beautiful lake and park. A great hotel. It is right on the edge of the Royal Park and overlooks a lake. The only drawback is that on the other side of the hotel, although not as intrusive as you would expect, they are building a dual carriageway. Don't be put off by the walk to the hotel alongside the carraigeway. When you get there it is lovely!

THE HOTEL WAS WONDERFUL.. SO MUCH WARMTH AND CHARACTER. ALL THE PERSONNEL WERE FIRST RATE. THERE WAS QUITE ABIT OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION AROUND THE HOTEL BUT ONCE ON THE PROPERTY IT WAS LIKE BEING IN A GARDEN ON THE LAKE. (EVEN HAD A LOCAL BLACK RABBIT FEEDING IN THE GARDEN OUT THE WINDOW. Go here with your significant other and enjoy a very scenic view from the restaurant or take a walk around the lake. The service is very friendly and the rooms tight, but comfortable and very clean. Wireless internet is fast and the bathrooms are a little tight but clean and well maintained. I never hand out 5 stars, even the Grand Hyatt on Namsan […] Hill in Seoul didn't get 5 stars from me, but this hotel was charming and well worth it. The free bicycles were a nice touch. Its on the northernmost edge of the city, and biking to the Odenplan for shopping was a 10 minute ride, but the city is extremely bike friendly. I stayed at the Stallmästaregården Hotel during a business trip and everything was quite lovely. I loved the historic charm, the beautiful grounds, and everyone was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. My one and only complaint was with the cleaning service, who disregarded my "do not disturb" sign one day. Why have the signs available if the staff […] will just ignore it anyway? Don't be taken back from the drive to the hotel as it is situated on the outskirts of a beautiful park. It is slightly taken away from the city if you are a tourist it is a bit of an effort to get to the attractions. Food and restaurant is great however limited menu. Breakfast is lovely

Excellent, The food is amazing! The only advice after being in the hotel industry for 15 years..... When a guest checks in, I would offer a map of the location and also comment that there are about 20 Museums around the lake....I only discovered that on the last day. Of you are ok with a walk in the park, dusty tiny room, food that is asparagus beef and dry fish, like to be asked when you are leaving coz the staff have to do some of the basic hotel work and like destroyed historical buildings - then this is the perfect place for a premium price. Minutes away from down town Stockholm, you are in an oasis - Haga Parken - with as much soft walking/running/cycling tracks as anyone can ask for - along the waters, in the woods and open fields. Excellent, got a free unasked for upgrade to a suite (the suite was v nice though if you arent good with steep steps it wouldnt be good for you). One meal in the hotel, quite unusual natural ingredients, nice though quite expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. For an 'eco' hotel maybe they could turn the heat down a little (we had to open windows […] all night) and no need to change the bin liners/throw away unused coffee capsules when we are there for another night. Super hotel with a nice old-fashioned approach and feel. Rooms are modern in terms of facilities but old in terms of the building and the feeling. Upmarket but very relaxed. The restaurant is expensive, especially if you let your taste in wine take over, but this is Sweden I suppose, and there are not many other historic buildings with four star restaurants […] so near downtown Stockholm and not in the old town. In summer, the location of the hotel was great. It's great to find a charming hotel so close to city center (bus 2 drives directly to the center of the city). Breakfast in the sun, outside in front of the lake is a must: Luckily, we manage to change our first room with a highway view to a one with nice garden view. Bicycle rental is missing.

The hotel is situated on one of the big lakes just north of the city centre. The views are spectacular from both the more expensive rooms and the hotel restaurant. If you have a cheaper room, be prepared for a view overlooking a busy road (although blocked by trees). However, even with the proximity of the road, you don't notice the traffic noise due […] to the excellent sound proofing of the rooms. The bed in the room was the most comfortable I have ever slept in, it was difficult getting out of a morning. Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant and I can say that it was exceptional. Offering both cold and warm options, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, nuts, breads, pastries.. just everything. My tip would be to stock up in a morning and save yourself some money for later on in the day, stockholm food is VERY expensive. Of an evening you should try the hotel restaurant, the food was top notch. Pricey by UK standards but the norm for Swedish, expect to pay around £100 (for two) for a main course, glass of wine and a shared desert. All staff members spoke excellent English and were all very helpful. If flying to and from Arlanda airport there is a special airport bus that drops almost right outside the hotel, it's much more convenient than getting the Arlanda express, the bus costs about £12 for a single. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest underground but there is a bus that stops just outside the hotel which will take you in to town. All in all, wonderful! Lisez la suite

We were lucky to have booked early. We decided to extend our stay in Stockholm. For some reason the end of August and the beginning of September every hotel we called - and we called over thirty - was booked. Prices are high in Sweden. But the city is one of the most beautiful in the world - AND - the Stallmastaregarden Hotel Is a gem. It is the oldest […] Inn in the city and sits on a large lake on the royal estate. The staff were friendly and multilingual. There was a wide selection of fruit, bread, juice, coffee, tea, meats and cheeses for breakfast and included in the price of the room. Lunch and dinner were excellent. We traveled to five cities in Sweden and of all the hotels this was our favorite. One caution. Duck ... as you go in. They were shorter then. The building is over three hundred years old - and while the bathrooms and conveniences are all modern the management seems to strive to keep the feel of the original - right to the wild bunnies in the gardens . This hotel is an old manor house situated just outside Stockholm proper. The restaurant and terrace face onto a lake and huge city park. The interior is very tastefully done with a mixture of antique and Swedish modern. Our room was a duplex. The stairs going up to the bedroom were very steep, which might pose a problem for some people. Otherwise, it […] was very nice. No air conditioning, but a fan was provided. We just opened our windows. The one problem is that there is major road construction going on the street side of the hotel. You don't want a room facing out to it. We faced out onto a beautiful courtyard. The breakfast buffet is incredible with homemade breads and pastries, yogurts, cereals, eggs, homemade herring, cheese, reindeer, jams, cold vegetables, etc. The restaurant is top class but expensive (then again, all restaurants in Stockholm are expensive). Even though this hotel is located just outside of town, you can walk two minutes to a bus stop and go directly to all the main areas like Old Town. It's very, very easy access to the city center and worth it to be in such an idyllic setting. Some of the staff were not knowledgeable about bus routes, but otherwise they were very helpful and extremely nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Lisez la suite

There is a huge difference in this hotel to which side you get your window. On one side you have a lake and to the other a very busy road (highway). The noise from the road is not a big problem as most of that is blocked by the windows, but its still there to some extent. Jättefint hotell med gamla anor i fantastisk miljö, nära in till Stockholm centrum då hotellet erbjuder lånecyklar, annars nära till tunnelbanan! Fint rum och trevlig personal, god frukostbuffé som man gärna gick och hämtade från flera gånger, och satt länge och åt!

Fint hotellrum som luktade gott. Om minibarspriserna på rummet var billigare så skulle hotellet få sälja mer men ändå gå med vinst. nu blir man avskräckt. Även priserna i matsalen var i högsta laget. Bra läge om man vill besöka Friends Arena.

Det enda som inte är bra är frukostbuffen. Torr äggröra, bacon som är ett mellanting mellan stekt och kokt. Ingen sill. Bullarna är inte av samma kvalitet som dem har varit.
