L'appartement devait avoir 1 sèche linge, il n'y était pas, les 2 fenetres donnait sur 1 mur à 1m. La cuisine était réduite à sa plus simple expression, il manquait beaucoup de chose. Pas de rayonnage pour ranger nos affaires que de la penderie. Point positif, le personnel était aux petits soins.

The desk staff were very friendly and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The external noise from garbage trucks was loud at 4am, but not the hotel's fault.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, queen spa apartment was roomy and very quiet, especially given the busy location. The furniture, especially the bed and lounge, had seen better days, but all-in-all, a comfortable and very convenient place to stay, thank you.

Hotel is in a close location to most attractions, places to eat, supermarket, shops and Her Majesty Thearter around the corner.THe room was small but comfortable. Three things need improvement, 1. Punthill on Little Bourke Street is a great location in Melbourne, walking distance to all main areas and sporting events. The Hotel is very clean, quiet and well equipped. The staff are Friendly and helpful, we will definitely look for this Hotel's availability when visiting Melbourne again.

The position is great, in Chinatown but set back slightly from the street to help keep it quieter. Nice spacious room in the heart of the city. Good soundproofing (6th floor). There were good security measures in place and internet was free if you use the hotel computer. We did have an issue with the in-room washer/dryer not working and unfortunately it couldn't be fixed during our stay.

The Punthill little bourke studio apartment was awesome! The whole place was very clean and stylish!! great pool and gym, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was clean but they could update the shower. It was also very close to many restaurants and clubs. All in all it was an amazing experience, would recommend to all!

10 nights. Asked for a quiet room and got it, long entryway ? 15ft from door to living area- hence quiet. Not noisy except once when there was blaring music till 3am. But travelled during the Lunar New Year and the music was worse than the crackers. Adequate living area and med sized fridge fantastic.Clean, new cutlery. Oh location is fabulous and I'd […] already knew where the good food places were. 100m to Hu Tong dumpling bar. 5 min to either Passionflower, Dessert Story, Cacao Green,Mekong, Regent Theatre etc. Walking distance to free city shuttle and Tourist tram. Not so good for older travellers as I can forsee falls and fractured hips from slipping when stepping from the bathtub to the tiled floors. Water goes everywhere as there is only 1/2 tub glass screen. For younger guests- be careful. The common toiletry dispensers eeked me out but I had my own soap/shampoo etc. It would be better replaced with a user friendly one.Who knows whose hands had been there? They are big dispensers. Heated lap pool and some free weights inadequate. Had to walk 2km for the $10 per visit Doherty's gym. The Virgin gym agreement with the hotel charged $25 p/visit. Internet was $3 p/hr and ? $18 p/day. Broadband speed though when I paid for a couple of hrs every few days. Very comfortable and convenient location. However we were on the third floor and were disturbed every night by bottles being loaded in rubbish trucks and drunks nearby in the streets near the hotel. Next time will ask for a room higher up.

Punthill appartments on Little Bourke St was in a great position right in Chinatown near restaurants and bars. The manager & his wife were fantastic and gave us great ideas of things to do. Being 3 of us it was fantastic to have a 1 bedroom appartment, lots of room to move around. We will be back

Great size room for 3 adult females on the way to Australian Open tennis and seeing the sights of Melbourne. Easy to get to Circle trams and transport. Poor communication with Central booking office and housekeeping: 2 single beds and the sofa bed were requested and confirmed via email 6 months ahead of our stay and the room was not ready for us upon […] arrival. Housekeeping altered another room for us which was completed promptly however, the following day (while we were at the tennis) housekeeping re-made the room and put the single beds back together again, Upon our return to the hotel later that evening, nothing could be done about separating our bedding again. We left a note this time and the problems did not occur again. On our final morning housekeeping woke us at 7.30am thinking that we had checked out - which we obviously had not done. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It was comfortable, clean and quiet and in a convenient location to walk to the main shopping and restaurant areas of Melbourne CBD. It was also close to public transport and within nice walking distance of Federation Square, Southbank etc.

You can't stay closer to the centre! Surrounded by restaurants, it is bang in the middle of the Chines Quarter, shops, river area, theatres, National Galleries all a short walk. A good 3 star accommodation, good size studio flat with washing machine. The cleaning could have been a little more fastidious but all was acceptable. Hotel was great. Only issue for some would be the nightclub a few doors down, could hear the bass until 4am, but it wasn't that loud. I slept easily.

The hotel itself is located right in Chinatown and the area was extremely busy the night we arrived. We had taken the train into Melbourne expecting to be able to take a shuttle bus to the Punthill Little Bourke but because our flight was delayed 3 hours the shuttle, which stops at 5:30PM, was not available. We ended up walking almost a mile pulling our suitcases (mine was 48lbs + a carryon as we were on a month long trip). There were all kinds of trams around but we had no knowledge of the area as we had expected to use shuttle. Also, tons of people on the streets in Chinatown almost made it impassible. I only mention this so that you are aware of the shuttle limitations if you are arriving by plane and plan to use the train into Melbourne. Bye the way, the train was extremely convenient and easy to use. Hotel was also very convenient location for us to walk to alot of the attractions in the area. Good base if you like to walk. While the location and front-of-house was good, I found the condition of some hardware below standard. The mounting rail for the shower head was very loose & appeared as though it could detach from the wall at any moment. Also, the handle of the mixer tap in the kitchenette was very loose (this was reported to the front desk upon our departure). We […] found that the bed making was only cursory and on two occasions we had to smooth out the under sheet. It was thought that there should have been an extra dining chair so that 2 people could sit at the table for meals. Finally, the sofa seemed to be facing in the wrong direction; the only arm would have been better at the other end of the sofa.
