Steigenberger Hotel Frankfurt City - Francfort

The hotel was OK to good in every aspect... The rooms were perhaps a little on the small side, but comfortable and clean. The location is OK - about a ten minute walk from the Ostendstrasse S-Bahn, and about a ten minute walk from the Altstadt / old town. One can also take a pleasant walk along the river, or head to some of the bars in the pedestrianised […] Grosse Ritter gasse area. Having said that, there is not a whole lot in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but that does mean that it's quiet! The breakfast was superb, very good range of choices from the buffet. Staff were friendly and patient with my attempts to speak German (although their English is impeccable also). All in all, this is a very good hotel... but other than the breakfast, there was no wow factor Lisez la suite

Very good breakfast! They had absolutely everything. Very tasteful also.

We have stayed here several times before, but this was the worst service. The stay didn't start well - first they couldn't find my booking, then they said I was already checked in and finally when I got to my the room it had no towels. After that, the stay was mainly fine - the room was comfortable and quiet, the air con worked, the bed/pillows were […] lovely and comfortable. On the first day, they were half way through cleaning our room when we returned from breakfast and so they had to stop. They had no English breakfast tea in the restaurant on either morning, but the rest of the breakfast was fine.. We love this location, near the S-bahn and the river/Romer but might re-consider a further stay. Lisez la suite

The Steigenberger seems to be a recently refurbished property. The building and surrounding buildings isn't new, but our room seemed to be perfectly new! The bath and fixtures was like brand new and the amenities were first rate. The grout in the shower was obviously new, and the floor was all done in new ceramic tiles. The fixtures were the latest […] modern style. Our room was very clean and again, seemed to be completly new. Lots of nice blond woodwork with beautifully milled doors. On check in the paperwork was all waiting and we had our rooms in moments. The staff were all exceptional and very friendly and courteous. The lobby bar and restaurant was very pleasant. We used the strassenbahn streetcars to get to the hotel and the number 11 from the haupBahnhof left us with about 3 blocks to walk. Wasn't bad, but the neighbourhood could have been better, in the dark. Location was convenient to the night life of Sachsenhousen (sp?) Not far to walk to the Romer Platz, either. I can't recommend this hotel. It's location is not convenient to anything. There are no decent restaurants nearby. Unless you are in Frankfurt on business, you do not want to be there on a Monday since all museum are closed. Actually, unless you are there on business, there is very little reason to go to Frankfurt; it's a very boring city. Go to Berlin […] which is fabulous. Lisez la suite

Fine for a weekend break or short business trip. Clean room and well-above average breakfast (if a bit pricey at eighteen euros with coffee). Tram stop outside, easy to get around city from here.

After a long day of travel the staff were very helpful and accomodating. Let gave us our room several hours early. The room was very clean and neat. I will say the decor may need some updates but over this was a good hotel experience for my last night in Germany.

Vaikka hotelli on ihan hieman syrjässä, ei sieltä ole pitkä matka esim. Zeilille, josta pääsee S-bahnille jne. Hotellissa todella hyvä palvelu ja ravintolassa mielettömän hyvä ruoka. Olen ollut useasti tässä hotellissa eikä kertaakaan ole tullut pettymystä. Perussiisti hotelli ja hyvä ruoka. Juuri sitä mitä työmatkailija arvostaa.

Vanhahtavan oloinen hotelli, joka onkin juuri menossa remonttiin. Hissi toimi vain välillä, huoneen lämmitystä ei saanut säädettyä, tulostimesta muste loppu eikä uutta tarjolla, hintaan nähden nuhjuinen yleiskuva. Ravintolassa hyvää ruokaa myös kasvisten ystäville. Es un hotel para trabajar, cerca de la zona cultural. Relación calidad/ precio un poco alto para lo que ofrece y ese estilo "western americano" lo detesto en medio de una ciudad como Frankfurt. I had expected A LOT more of a four star hotel! The hotel was near to the main street, but was in a bad neighbourhood. I would not send my kids there at night :-) Breakfast was okay. I would say this is an okay 3 star hotel. Not even 3+ !

Muy acogedor, limpio y muy buena atención... lo recomiendo 100%

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt jedoch waren Sie sehr geizig mit den Shampoo und Seife. Es stand eines am Anfang aber es wurde nie ein anderes gegeben auch wenn ich 5 Nächte dort war.

Wir sind Steigenberger-Fans und buchen fast immer diese Hotelgruppe. In diesem Hotel hat es uns überhaupt nicht gefallen.Das Zimmer war immer kalt, da wir am Tag auf der Messe waren und erst um ca. 19 Uhr aufs Zimmer kamen.Am 1.Tag war sogar das Fenster gekippt. Die Heizung war immer aus , (Strom wurde per Karte ausgeschaltet),es dauerte bis ca. 22 […] Uhr bis es warm war und wir uns ausziehen und duschen konnten. Die Dusche mit Toilette hatte auch keine Heizung, der Fliesenboden war sehr kalt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Im Sommer ist das Hotel sicher schön,aber nach anstrengenden Messetagen ist dort im Winter keine Erholung zu finden. Ein Hoteltester sollte mal dort übernachten.In einem 4 Sterne Haus sollte das nicht passieren. Lisez la suite

Gutes sauberes Geschäftshotel

Vietimme viikonlopun tässä tasokkaassa hotellissa. Hotellin sijainti oli ihanteellinen. Kävelymatkan päässä joulumarkkinoista ja Sachenhausin alueesta, jossa mukavia bubeja ja ravintoloita. Hotelli oli siisti ja rauhallinen. Aamiainen todella tasokas. Henkilökunta avulias ja ystävällinen. Suosittelemme lämpimästi kaikille Frankfurtiin aikoville.

Former glory is not true, formerly there was no glory either... Steigenberger City was expensive and the single room poorly maintained. The receptionist told me "a very quiet room at the back of the building Sir", quiet until kitchenstaff started banging around wheeled containers for an hour at 06:00 AM. Wallpaper peeling off, and no airconditioning […] in the room. Internet would pop off every few minutes.The movie option on television did not work in my room. Staff were very nice though. I would not stay here again if there is any orther hotel available, but the Frakfurter Book Fair fills up all alternatives.... Lisez la suite

La comida tenia mucha diversidad pero considero que no era muy buena, el cuarto limpio y buen detalle lo del dulce

Hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til kveldsunderholdning :-) I tillegg var både hotellet rent og pent, samt en hyggelig betjening. Vi reiser tilbake neste år!
