The Bryant Park Hotel - New York

My experience at the Bryant Park Hotel was an amazing one. I stayed in the Deluxe room. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and with a large bathroom (that's always a bonus). I will come back and stay for sure! I recommend this hotel to anyone (business or personal)!

Great location and friendly staff. We were about 3 short blocks from Times Square and walked to two shows. Bryant Park across the street is quaint and had alot going on. Great location and large rooms for New York City.

After reading the past reviews I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived at the hotel over Thanksgiving. Much to our delight, everything was fantastic. The location is great. Just a short walk to Times Square, Macys and the Empire State Building. Just had to walk half a block to watch the parade. Also we loved Bryant Park. There are some really unique […] vendors and the ice skating rink really put us in a festive mood. The entire staff at the hotel was extremely polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean and a lot larger than we thought they would be. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to anyone who wants a great hotel at a great price. I love the location for Bryant Park. I have stayed there four times now. This stay was the best. We booked a small suite which had a view of the Park. Previously I had booked rooms for business and rooms had no view and this was so much better. Well worth the extra dollars. The Park had just opened for skating and some setup was still in progress. Location […] cannot be beat. Near library, Times Square, Grand Central. 4,5,6 subways at Grand Central allowed us access to the entire City. Room was noisy. I wish BPH would add seals to the doors which would be a huge improvement. Better windows would be good also but is understandably a larger issue. BPH does have earplugs in the bath kit or next to bed and you WILL need those. Lots of city hotels have noise issues so I think the trade offs here are well worth what the location offers. Nothing but good things to say about my stay. A big comfortable room for NYC & a full tub & big shower. Despite reading reviews that said the beds were uncomfortable, we found them to be extremely comfortable and appreciated the soft pillows -- not like the oversized bricks most hotels provide. The shower was the best ever. Quiet room despite a lively night club off the lobby. And great location. My wife an I have stayed at this hotel several times. Mainly because the hotel Suites are huge and the shower is equivelent to a Spa. However, the one bad experience was with the Concierge Manager (Bryan). We had booked an in house couples message for 75 min for $370. which was advertised on thier website. The Message was the worst I had ever had. the […] therapist left bruises on my back. When the message was done I was handed two slips for $280 each. I told the therapist i had booked it with concierge for $370 and I would call to speak with them. When speaking to the Concierge Bryan, He had told me that I had only booked for a 60min message and needed to pay for the extra 15min. He then told me that I was embarrising his hotel & his relationship with the message company. He also told me that it only said 60min online, which it clearly states 75min. After arguing and getting aggrivated, he told me for argument sake he would only charge me the $370, but was going to write this in my profile. Never in my life was I ever talked to like this. What ever happened to the customer is always right? Which I was in fact! After talking to the hotel desk Manager, He had appoligized for Bryan's Behavior & took $50 off my credit card. I would recommend this hotel to others, however if you run into Bryan, tell him he needs to take a Hospitality Training course & learn some manners!!! Lisez la suite

The location was stunning---Bryant park is one block from the subway and Times Square! The staff was delightfully helpful and charming and the room was light, clean and stylish. The bed size and number of beds would have been handy information as the majority of rooms have only one queen-size bed.

From the minute we arrived, we were greeted & treated extremely well. The hotel valet our car & we were met by Robert the manager on duty who was extremely informative, courteous, friendly, & accomodating. Clearly, this was the best check in experience I had ever had. Every hotel employee we came across gave exceptional service, treating us special. […] The rooms were very clean, the hotel is maintained well, the bathrooms are spotless & done very well. Excellent water pressure. Execellent location across from the lovely Bryant Park, 1 block from Times Square, 4 blocks from Rockefellar Center and down the block from all the 5th Avenue shops. My boyfriend and I decided at the last minute to stay at the Bryant Park Hotel. We found it on my hotels.com iPhone app. This hotel was super modern and comfy. This was our third stay at the Bryant Park Hotel in the past five months, so that pretty much says it all. The hotel boasts a great location and very comfortable and stylish accommodations, but it's really the staff that make it such a special and welcoming place to return to.

I stayed at the Bryant Park Hotel for a business trip. I forgot tooth paste and was told it was in the min-bar. There was a $6 charge for toothpaste and a travel toothbrush. I felt that was outragous... in the day and age of no liquids while flying I feel that a tube of toothpaste should be something that is complementry. It is everywhere else. The […] front desk staff was very friendly and probably the best feature of the hotel. The room was spacious and modern... could use some wall hangings as the white walls were really blank with a white comforter. The bed looked modern but was somewhat like a camp cot. A basic materess on a slab. The shower was amazing! I got into town late Sunday night and the surrounding restaurants were closed. I ordered room service... it turned out to be $50 for a piece of quiche some fries and a water... again way expensive. Also, Wi Fi was an additional charge. Nice shi, shi, hotel. Rooms a bit small and not very decorated. Hotel did not have a lot of services like atms or big facilities. For the price the bed should have been more comfortable. These location makes up for its shortcomings with how clean the rooms are and helpful staff. Also the location is great right next to Bryant Park. Nice hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. It was all good except the bed. It was as hard as a rock. I could not sleep at all. They need some a pillow top on the mattress and some higher thread count sheets! After all in NY, you only sleep in the hotel.

stayed at the Bryant Park because it was walking distance to Broadway and Times Square. Arrived a couple of hours before check-in. Room was ready and they allowed me to check-in which was really nice. Turned out the room faced a brick wall overlooking a dumpster which was pretty disappointing. Overall the room quality was fine. Room was clean. Mini-bar […] was well stocked (though very expensive). Decor is pretty minimalist and probably not my style but certainly clean and sufficient. Hotel has a nice Japanese restaurant (didn't eat there) and a club which was pretty active at midnight on a Saturday night. Fitness center was pretty minimal. This hotel is all about location - you can walk to lots of great things. Only complaint is that the hotel seemed a bit overpriced, especially given the room and view. Of course I was staying in Manhattan on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend so it may also be comparable to others. Lisez la suite

A Great Hotel and Great Service

This hotel is a gem! I would make this my must stay place evey time I am in NYC. Of course the staff has to be credited for the wonderful experience. Having the park across the street is a big plus, not to mention the location.

The Bryant Park Hotel is located closed to everything you need for a short stay in NY or a long stay. All the staff will make you feel like a million dollars. It is a 5 stars hotel with all that you need to enjoy your stay. We will be back to that hotel the next time we visit NY. For us it was perfect. My stay here was amazing. From the time I entered the lobby, to riding in the swanky elevators, to putting my key card in the door and taking in the room... I was completely floored. Overall excellent hotel. My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon and for the most part, we were very pleased. Location is awesome, just a couple blocks off times square, so you're close, but not right on all the people gawking around the square. The concierge was useful but not best I've ever had. The maids keep the rooms spotless and come twice a day. The styling and decor of the hotel is very modern/minimalist, so you get this euro vibe while staying there that for us, may have been a little too "hip." This leads to my only real complaint...the bed sucked. In order to keep with the whole minimalist styling the beds are on platforms which does not allow a box spring, thus leading to beds that leave something to be desired. Sheets and bedding are nice, but you may wake up with a stiff back. Otherwise the hotel is great. We stayed in a junior suit that was huge (two baths, living room and bedroom) and had about a 30% discounted rate when we booked, so we felt that we got a lot for our money. The Cellar Bar is nice and has a free happy hour for guests from 5-6. The bar continues the euro theme. Think lots of guys with slick hair wearing all black suits and lots of cologne. The bartenders are nice (even when you're there for the free happy hour). Didn't eat at the restaurant. I would probably not stay there again only due to fact that I rarely travel to New York and would like to try different hotels, but I would definitely recommend it to someone else, especially if the whole minimalist/modern style is their thing. Took almost 45 mins to get car returned from valet. Other than that, no complaints.

Great location, excellent staff, good for privacy and minimal decor. This is my favorite hotel in NY- though depending on your neighboring rooms, you may need earplugs- noise caries with the hardwood floors!

Trendy and clean - great view of bryant park if you can get one. Nice clean rooms but the beds are hard. More options on the in room dining menu would be nice. I initially booked a standard room - it was pretty small and the window looked at a brick wall so I chose to upgrade to a jr suite with a view. Internet service was available but the wifi didn't […] work in my room. Great location and walking distance to 5th ave and times square. Hotel bar is awesome and Koi restaurant was great as well. Fabulous hotel! Outstanding room and large for NYC! I think we got an exceptional room because the bathroom was even bigger than the hotel room we had in the city last visit! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we will definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It's very modern and different from your average hotel. Last time we received an upgrade and had a very large room with a sitting area. This time we werent so fortunate. The regular superior room was still very nice. The bathrooms have beautiful tile and the shower is awesome. The hotle location was great. Our room was HOT we asked to have the air checked a few times but nothing ever changed. Fortunarley we were not in it much. Our hair dryer broke befire going out one night, we were on a tight schedule and it took housekeeping 20-30 nminutes to bring another. Room was really nice especially the bathroom.

Fantastisk beliggenhed. Supersødt og tjekket personale der hjalp med alt. Værelserne små men lækre, lækre. Der er ikke en finger at sætte på dette sted, men det koster også en del.

Nettes kleines Zimmer für 2 etwas eng.( Superior deluxe with view) Leider keine Schallschutzfenster somit nicht gerade erholsamer Schlaf.(Ohrenstöpsel werden vom Hotel gestellt) aber die Lage ist einsame Spitze genau vor dem Byrant Park.

Prima hotel. Perfecte locatie. Heel goede service. Maar reken wel op pittige prijzen in de Cellar Bar en het KOI restaurant. Maar goed, dat geldt voor heel NYC. Verblijf in dit hotel maakt een bezoek aan NYC bijzonder.
