Melody Lane Inn - Branson

The only problem we had here is we couldn't get the internet signal in our room, but we just went to the lobby and got it just fine. Will be staying here again!

We tried to check in at 2:55pm and our room was not ready, our non-smoking room smelled heavily of smoke and there were 4 smoke burns on the bathtub, there was a dirty towel left in our bathroom and a pile of hair on the edge of the tub. I will never stay here again. The nicest thing about this hotel were the swings in the front.

the Hotel was very clean and well kept. we were only there one night but I would recommend it for anyone looking for a bargin.

Hotel was clean and convenient to local attractions. Would have been nice if they supplied shampoo, shower gel, and maybe mouth wash.

Was very happy with our stay. Room was very clean and ready when we arrived. Staff was polite and prompt. Pool was very clean. Hotel beds were a bit hard for my liking. Breakfast was great. GREAT price for the room! Will for sure be visiting again! :)

The staff was courteous, but the room was a big diappointment. It smelled musky. I found a cockroach in the bathroom. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were sagging from the ceiling and had black (mold?) on them. I also pulled all the sheets off the bed and sprayed the bed with Febreze to help it smell better. I booked this room because of the value, but once I arrived I was so happy that I chose this hotel! The staff were some of the friendliest hotel staff I have ever met. The location of the hotel was excellent! It is right on Hwy 76 close to a wide variety of entertainment, shops and theaters, many within walking distance. It is also very close to a couple […] of access roads that lead to the alternate routes around the city, which I found extremely helpful. This hotel is not one of the newest ones on the strip, but what it lacks in modern appeal it more than makes up for in charm, comfort, ease, and a friendly and helpful staff. I started each morning in the hotel's coffee shop where they provided cereal, bread and toasters, coffee, milk, juice, fruit cocktail, a selection of instant oatmeal and a Belgian waffle making station, more than enough for an enjoyable breakfast. The room was very clean and I loved that the rooms were non-smoking with no hint of lingering stale smoke. Sure the interior could be updated but nothing was “wrong” with the room that detracted from my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I will be staying here on my next trip to Branson. Lisez la suite

This hotel has a great location and cheap rates. Don't expect anything luxurious, however; the rooms were old and the mattress wasn't very comfy. The room was clean except for the sticky bedspread, which was promptly replaced when we asked. Within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and attractions. Nice location-Hotel is right next to BaldKnobbers Theater, but was not bothered by that all. Non smoking room that was actually smoke free. Very pleased about that! Hotel is somewhat dated, but that doesn't bother my family. Clean, large room. Beds weren't the greatest, I wish I would have brought my own pillow. Outdoor pool nice, great hours. Room was clean but did not get what I paid for. Did not offer any condolences for the mixup or anything. Paid for a specific room weeks ahead and did not recieve it. I wished for rooms side by side but did not recieve it. Very rude and said well could you could always go and stay at another hotel. My friends had a room 3 flights up and there room was […] dirty. We chose this hotel because of its location. The service, comfort, and price were very good.

We decided to take a last minute shopping trip to Branson and really just needed a place to sleep. This hotel was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable but it did not have a hair dryer which I had read in another review and still forgot mine but all in all it was great.

This hotel is in the heart of the Branson strip which makes it easy to get to shows and the price of the room was fair compared to others.

It is an older hotel, but the room had new carpet and bedspreads. The room was very clean. There was coffee in the room, but no hair dryer or iron (which we expected). The breakfast was very nice - hot waffles, fruit, cereals, oatmeal, toast, coffee and juice. We would definately stay there again!

Good location. Needs something on street side so it is not so hard to locate. Great place to stay

My wife and I spent one night at the Melody Lanes and were very satisfied with the accommodations and service provided. We were only in Branson for one night to celebrate my wife’s birthday, but I will certainly stay at the Melody Lanes again on my next trip into Branson. All of the staff that I had dealings with were friendly and courteous, the bed […] was comfortable, the room did not smell like cigarettes as I have found in many of the other motels in Branson that we have stayed at, all in all, for the price, the Melody lanes are well worth the money. We enjoyed being within walking distance of most everything on the strip-although traffic was not heavy in October. Our room was very clean. Hotel room was large for the price i paid had two beds in it which worked out good. i didn't really like it being on the strip since they don't have any traffic lights. It's a living hell trying to turn left when there's nonstop traffic from both sides. The room was nice and clean. Because of the location (right on 76), there were times that it was hard to get in and out of the drive. You have to plan your route so that you don't have to make any left turns during the busy times of the day.

Me and a friend stayed at Melody Lane Inn in Oct. 2009. We chose this location because it was close to entertainment or food. The receptionist was very nice, but the hotel maid service was terrible. They did not clean our room after the first night we stayed there. We had to call down to the desk to send someone up to clean it in the afternoon after […] we complained. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and we were conveniently located to the shows on the strip. I visit Branson often and usually stay off the strip, but during the "off season" this is the place.

This hotel was just awesome. The room was clean, smelled clean. The staff was friendly and promt. The breakfast was delightful every morning. The location was in middle of everything. So you could walk pretty much anywhere. I thought this was a wonderful hotel.

Melody Lane Inn was next door to the Baldknobbers, one show we went to, and to an ice cream parlor which had great ice cream. The room was clean, the service was very good, and the free breakfast was better than most.

Clean Room, Good Location. I had never been to Branson before and it was just about in the middle of the "strip"

Lots of deferred maintenance. Had to walk through assorted trash and cigarette butts. No smoking meant they removed the ash trays (Room reeked of stale cigarette smoke). Furniture was done in 1950's "Modern" and wore out in the 1960's ! You could feel every spring in the mattress. Stains on the worn out sofa. We canceled our second night stay. The Melody Lane is is a very basic hotel/motel. Rooms and bathrooms are VERY clean. Yes, the interiors could be updated, but it is a great room for a very good price. The staff was helpful and it came with a continental breakfast. Yes, I would stay there again!

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AND THE SERVICE AND BREAKFAST WAS GREAT, BUT THE BED WAS SO HARD WE HAD BACK ACHES THE NEXT DAY. THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

It was worth every penny!

Great room for the money. I would like for the rooms to have a hairdryer and microwave. I will stay again when I come to Branson.

HONESTLY, NOT BAD! I SPRANG FOR THE KING SUITE WITH SOFA BED, GOOD SIZE ROOM, ROOM KEPT TEMP, FRESH TOWELS DAILY. FOR THE PRICE, IT WAS GOOD!!! BED WAS CLEAN, ROOM WAS CLEAN, BED WAS UNCOMFORTABLE BUT IM USED TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
