well i will start with the room we obviously got one of the rooms to be refurbished,air con not working,couldnt access any pay movies or the like on the tv,very very tired decor really run down on the plus side had safe, ironing board oh and bed extremely noisy(ahem) hotel is in a great location breakfast was included in our rate so made up for it a […] bit ,freshly cooked omlette at a nice touch no atmosphere in bar and quite pricey when you can find someone to serve you staff freindly all in all ok but i wont be staying here again there are far superior hotels just as well located so my advise look elsewhere sorry but you cant hand out a room like we got and expect a favourable review Lisez la suite

I booked this hotel on the recommendation that it was right over the tube station that goes directly to Heathrow - this was not the case - it is in fact another Hilton at Hyde Park that is above that Heathrow connecting tube station. Stayed here with my wife on vacation. Room was small but the hotel is in a great location, just outside Hyde Park and moments from both Bayswater station and another station which I can't remember the name of, it provided access to several different tube routes. The staff at the hotel were ridiculously polite and helpful, especially at the breakfast […] buffet which was pretty solid. The only downside other than the room being small was the hefty 15 pound a day internet charge, although the connection was the best I experienced throughout my time in Europe. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was terrific. How wonderful to be directly across from Hyde Park and right next to a tube station.

Hotel strong point was location over looking Kensington Gardens and literally 'on top' of Queensway Underground Station,which was not a problem and made for easy access to all area's of London via the Central Line. Hotel Staff were very friendly and efficient, Room was clean, Wardrobe could have had more storage space with the addition of a few simple […] shelves - a lot of space was wasted in the wardrobe. Bathroom grouting around the bath in particular let the room down however it was 'tired' and needed refreshing. We took advantage of a 50% discount deal including 1 evening meal (which was fine) and on that basis was value for money although if we had paid the full rate I think we would have expected more. I really enjoied staying at the Hilton in Hyde Park. It has a great location just steps away from the Queensways tube station. The staff is really friendly. Great breakfast bar and amazing coffee and cappuccino made fresh for you. The rooms have everything you would need. I would stay here again!

Great location close to the underground and very friendly staff! Rooms are average, but quite good for the price you are paying. Overall a nice hotel if you need something central for a weekend break in London. Would definately recommend....

Booked for Valentines overnight stay close to a restaurant we had visited on our honeymoon 7 years earlier. Pros Good location with 3 underground stations nearby - one less than 20 yards. Surrounding area has lots of different nationality restaurants with Google Maps suggesting a number had good reviews. Whilst on a busy road the sound insulation […] was excellent although if the aircon did not work I am not sure how easy it would be to open the windows as lots of secondary glazing to get through. Check in was easy and pleasant as was checking out. Room rate was around £100 so for this part of London I thought was great. Bathroom was also nice and breakfast was included which offer a wide selection and staff very attentive. Cons Room itself was very small with the bed right up against the wardrobe so whilst I am sure the facilities made it a 4 star hotel, if you were claustrophobic or less than nibble on your feet and good at squeezing around your bed, then Room 403 might have been a challenge. Conclusion Therefore despite all of the positives, on the basis of first impressions count and I spent a few hours in the room waiting for my wife to arrive, it is the size of the room which has tainted this review Lisez la suite

Stayed on a cheap deal. Could have stayed in numerous cheaper hotels within easy reach of Paddington station but decided to treat myself. My single room on the first floor was tiny, I suppose you could have called it 'cosy', but it had everything you needed packed into a small space. No point opening the curtains as all you could see was a dark well […] with scaffolding poles. Seemingly some levels of the hotel are undergoing refurbishment but I wouldn't have realised without going on an exploration to higher levels! I didn't expect a room with a view at that price, but this one was rather like a cell. However it was a comfy cell, and I slept well in it. On the plus side was the hotel location, right at the park gates to Kensington Gardens and it was lovely just to be able to cross the road and go into the park. Once I came out of my room there was also a window area where you could see the park and check the weather before going downstairs. Also regarding location, the hotel is close to two Tube stations (in fact it is on top of one of them) and the Queensway area is handy for eateries, there is a little late opening supermarket opposite, and if you walk up Queensway there is a shopping mall with a M&S food hall in it. Sorted! In addition, breakfast was plentiful and the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. I probably wouldn't stay there at full price, but I reckon it was value for money for what I paid. First thing to say is that the staff in this hotel were very helpful and polite. I asked for a quiet room, not over the main road, and was given one at the back. Unfortunately this room suffered from air extraction / fans or something noise from outside the back of the hotel. It seems the rooms all have old fashioned windows with rather old secondary […] double glazing - not well soundproofed at all. Finally realising I was not going to get to sleep I phoned reception and the very nice chap there offered me another room on another floor. This time there was still noise, but not as loud. In the morning I could see out the window there is major refurbishment going on, hopefully that will include replacing the windows! Other points to note is that the rooms were on the whole clean, but a bit tatty and some bits weren't very clean at all - I noticed the phone in the room was filthy. We arrived at this hotel and were given a room which had views of scaffolding outside. We requested to be moved to views of Hyde Park. The staff were very friendly and within minutes our room was changed. The breakfast was excellent and the service was fantastic. Great location, nice dining rooms, good servicer. Rooms are small and a little tired, but that is the case for most London hotels. Staff was helpful. Rooms in the back are very quiet. Not sure about street-facing rooms.

The hotel is having an overhaul. This meant that all windows at the back were covered, and you could not see out. We were not told about this at check-in, so it was a bit of a surprise when we entered the room. It was fairly late and dark so we could not qute see how bad it was. The London Hilton Hyde Park is in an excellent location- directly above the Queensway tube station. Hyde Park is right across the street which adds to the location of the hotel. I was originally booked in for one night but ended up staying three with the snow crisis at Heathrow. First room was fine but different story with the new room I booked for the two extra nights. Firstly they increased all the prices due to the snow - receptionist admitted this - but I had no choice as I needed a bed. Secondly the single room I got was […] tiny (room 402) with a funny smell in it. But there was no alternative. One thing I did notice was that every time I was at reception there was some-one making a complaint. My hubby and I only took an overnight stay as we were taking my elderly mother the the Royal Albert Hall. The hotel was extremely helpful and even put my mother in an adjoining room. We loved our stay at the Hilton Hyde Park in London. Location is perfect (it's in the very same building as the Queensway tube station), staff is extremely nice and the breakfast buffet is delicious. A quite small and cosy hotel. The rooms are nothing special, but they are all right.

The Hilton Bayswater road is situated in my favourite part of London - right across the street from Hyde/Kensington park. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door until the hotel car drove us to Paddington Station when we left. The room was small, and had no view, but the linens were immaculate, the bed comfortable, the towels […] large and fluffy, and the food at breakfast spoiled us completely. For the rest of the trip we compared other hotels, and the others invariably came second to the Hilton. The location was fantastic. It was right across from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and the Castle where Princess Diana and Prince Charles lived was less than 5 minutes away. It had a plethora of shops (mostly ethnic) and affordable restaurants in the area, and about 2 blocks away there was a modern, fancy mall. Hilton Hyde Park was the perfect location to see London. You cannot be closer to the tube, it is part of the same building as the hotel, and has a elevator to take you down to the trains. Hyde Park is just across the street, a nice pub and bus stop are 1/2 a block away. The room was large with lots of light from the two windows.

Enkelt och trevligt hotell. Väldigt oengagerad och nonchalant personal. Nära till tunnelbana och Regent park.

Værelset var lille, mørkt og lå ud til en ucharmerende baggård. Men der var hvad der skulle være. Det var rent og pænt, omend gulvtæppet var noget plettet. Badeværelset var helt fint. Den første morgen vi var der var der ikke noget varmt vand. Øv. Da vi kom hjem efter en lang dag i byen (kl. var ca. 15.30) var værelset ikke gjort rent. Dobbelt Øv. Deilig hotel, central beliggenhed i forhold til metro. Dejlig morgenmad. Rom lå mod baggård hvor der stod larmende aggreater det var ikke bra. Ellers ok hotel.

Trevligt hotell med mycket serviceinriktad personal. Rummet var fräscht och rent, mycket bra sängar. Fantastisk frukost. Slitna möbler i matsalen var ett minus- annars toppbetyg! Mycket bra läge vid Hyde Park och nära till mysiga Notting Hill- en kort promenad. //Mor och dotter på shoppingsemester

Flott beliggenhet , flott service og topp frokost med spesiell hyggelig servering og betjening. Vi hadde 3 rom. Den ene var stort og smått, med vindu hvor aircondition anleggene stod plassert som ga litt støy. De andre rommene var mindre og greie nok. Sentralt plassert ved Hyde Park

Forfærdeligt ophold, ødelagt af at badet ikke duede. Problemet var man ligeglad med i receptionen - "I Kan vel bade i morgen, når der har været en tekniker og fikse problemet?"

Läget på hotellet helt perfekt och personalen alltid hjälpsam och trevlig.Sängarna var bland de bästa hotellsängar jag sovit i . Så är det ju det här med heltäckningsmattor som engelsmenen envisas med de är definitivt inte särskilt fräscha! Kan mycket väl tänka mig att bo där igen.

VI var i London 11.-15. april og kan ikke få fullrost hotellet og omgivelsene. Hilton London Hyde Park er et hotell man føler seg velkommen. Smilende og serviceinnstilte medarbeidere i resepsjonen. Da vi oppdaget at airconditionen ikke virket på vårt rom, ble det fikset sporenstreks. Rommet var forholdvis stort og badet romslig og med alle de små […] produktene på badehylla - som vi kvinner ønsker :-D Vannkoker, te og kaffe tilgjengelig. Litt støy fra gaten, men ikke sjenerende. Vi valgte å ikke spise på hotellet, men rett ved siden av ligger en liten kafè som serverer frokost, lunsj og småretter. Billig og veldig godt. Gåavstand til både Oxford Street og Notting Hill. T-banestasjon i tilknytning til hotellet. Enkelt og greit å ta seg til alt man ønsker å oppleve i London. Hyde Park ligger rett over gaten for hotellet. Så vi tok med oss sushi og gikk en ettermiddagstur der. Her kan man feks besøke Kensington Palace og se Dianas kjolesamling. Koselig og avslappende med en park i umiddelbar nærhet. Sidegaten til hotellet tok oss rett inn i restaurantverdenen. Her ligger det italienske, indiske, greske og en hel mengde andre restauranter. Vi falt spesielt for atmosfæren og maten i den greske som ligger litt skjult, men som blir markedsført ute på gaten. Vi kommer garantert til å velge dette hotellet når vi ijgen setter kursen mot London neste vår. Både pga service, standard og beliggenhet. Takk for et flott opphold! Lisez la suite
