Wow! What can I say? Our weekend long stay was amazing! Check in was quick and upon entering our room the fresh clean smell and condition of the room was so pleasant. My husband even commented on the scent. I expected to find something wrong with the room or the continental breakfast. What a surprise to find both more than met my expectations! The service was good and the staff was friendly. The building could use some upgrades. The office closes at night and there was a leak in the bathroom which couldn't be addressed so we had to put a towel on the floor so our feet would get wet. Overall a nice place for the money. They try hard to please their customers.

Door wouldn't open on the first room and had to get another room. Ice machine only on first floor and it was out of ice two of the three times I tried to use it. Room was cleaned each day and sheeets were changed each day, unlike the previous motel I stayed at. A

room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The lobby needs to stay open through out the night not closing at 11pm.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was very clean, but small. The bathroom was clean and it was almost as big as the room. I did have trouble with the shower and I report it and it was taken care of. I stay in a lot of hotel all over the world and for a small town it was very nice. It should be rated a 4 star.

You are better off sleeping in your car! We unfortunately spent Christmas at the Jameson Hotel, because my husbands family lives in Laurinburg, NC. When we arrived on Christmas Eve, the person who checked us in was Rude. Then we went on to our room, where I found that the toilet was stopped up and there was "stuff" floating around in it. So for the […] entire duration of our stay, we had to go to the restaurant next store to use the restroom, since the person at the front desk told us there were no other rooms available ( We were 1 of only 2 cars parked at the hotel ). Overall a nice place. My only complaint is that even though the room was supposed to be non-smoking, it smelled strongly like smoke. It must have been a smoking room in the past.

Stayed here one night on our way to Myrtle Beach. Upon entering room it had an over-bearing smell of floral air freshener. Smell never went away. So strong it made me sick during the night. Carpet didn't look dirty but my white socks turned completely black after 15 minutes in the room. I wouldn't go back even if it was free !

Friendly staff, gave good reference for place to dine. Courteous & responsive. Room was clean, wi fi in room. Also had a fridge & microwave. Only one tiny shampoo, no conditioner or lotion. Provided additional towels when requested.

I was not impressed. My key had to be reset each day I was there. I had to request soap for my room. My room was supposed to be smoke-free, but the furniture reeked of cigarettes. There were burn-holes on the blankets. The housekeeping staff didn't clean my room at all while I was there. The toilet was dirty. And there were people yelling and playing […] loud music until around 1:30 a.m. each night. They did have free wireless internet. The upgraded room ws very nice - in the back, quiet, furnishings a little more plush than usual - it was a fine stay.

We had to make several calls to the front desk to get our room cleaned and towels delivered. Their idea of making the beds was to pull the sheets up, and the bathroom was not wiped down for the duration of my stay.

The furniture was well used and dated. The bath room was the smallest that I have seem since the 1988's., the bathroom tub/shower area had mold around tub and ceiling . The breakfast are was very small and tight, holds about 6or 8 people at most.

There was mildew on bathroom walls and ceiling. Also, some on shower curtain. The mattress was very firm, felt like laying on straw. We have used Jameson in other cities before and been very satisfied. Will not stay in this Jameson again.
