This hotel has horrible name...but we like it a lot. Nice restaurant, convenient store inside hotel, good menus. Only con is I wish hotel had a van service to drop and pick up guest a on the strip! But would stay again if price is right again.

Check in took about 45 minutes because there was only one clerk and a long line of people checking in. However, the gentleman on duty was excellent. I was amazed at how well he handled checking everyone in and also answering phone calls. A better ventilation system would be nice as the smoke was a bit overwhelming. I stay at this hotel about 2nights every three weeks. I always appreciate staying at this hotel. Its value for money, close to both the Strip and also to Henderson. Economy what it is - its a shame they had to withdraw coffee making facilities from the rooms since early January. The rooms were very reasonable for the location and I would stay there again. I lived in Vegas and can say that for the price, it is hard to beat.. Clean enough and comfortable enough. If you want better, then stay on the strip and pay a lot more money.

Dont expect much at terribles.

I was faced with a last minute need to profide lodging for family coming into town to visit. I was never really interested in the hotel before this need. BUT, once I had the very affordable room set up, I looked at what I had actually got. I was amazed that it was such a nice room that was nicely laid out. The separate toilet/shower room from the sink […] was nice. The room was large with a nice king bed that was great to lay on. All in all it was a great choice that I thought was not going to happen. This hotel isn't the fanciest option in Vegas. My room was clean and had all the amenities I wanted. It was a good choice for my conference at UNLV.

for the price this hotel was clean convient to get to room from outside close to where we need to be for meetings during our stay. Would I stay there again yes if I could get a good rate. The resturants were good and convient to get to. over all this was n comfortable place to stay.

The hallway carpets were pretty worn. The rooms were getting worn, but OK, clean. Unfortunately, the first thing I saw in the bathroom in the morning was some kind of big bug/roach. Thank goodness I lived in the South for 10 years where bugs this size were not a rarity, otherwise I would of freaked. I threw the telephone book on top of it along with […] a note to housekeeping on why the telephone book was stuffed firmly behind the commode. Decided to skip the 3 Deuces breakfast for $3.99 (where there's one bug that size there's often more...), and instead got ny free cup of coffee and a $0.79 Krispy Kreme in the hotel lobby store and got on my way. Inexpensive hotel close to the strip.

A place to stay for regular people. Nothing fancy, just good eating and gambling. Regular people work here and stay here. No frills. Coffee costs a dollar in the gift shop. Everyone is mellow. Parking lot a little scary late at night.

I've stayed here before a couple of times, and I just love the place. I usually bring my car to Vegas, and this is the most convenient place to park, access the hotel and get from the hotel to wherever you need to go easily. It's a little older so the rooms are larger than in some of the newer places and they are kept very clean. I can park, access […] the hotel wing, take an elevator and get up to my room so very easily. Quick in, quick out. Since it's on Paradise and Flamingo, the location is very easy to head north-south-east-or-west right out of the lot. Typically, the rooms are priced very reasonably, especially on hotels.com so it makes it a very attractive place to stay for me. Just like anything else, you have to find what works best for you, and in Vegas, this is the place that works best for me! Lisez la suite

No major problems. Staff was good at some things and slow with others. Im satisfied with the hotel for the money I spent. If I had paid over a hundred a night I would be upset

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food okay. Shower power just above a dribble. Beds okay. 2 people stayed in my room, only 2 towels, although when asked, more towels were brought rapidly. Hotel gives feeling of being old and worn out. Nice big flat screen tv, with only about 10-12 channels. Noise from planes landing and taking off at all hours. I have stayed here before when I attended a workshop was at a nearby hotel. I chose Terrible's because of the following: it was well priced, the parking is convenient and close to access doors (without a long walk), the rooms are well away from the casino, and after checking in, you don't ever have to go to the casino if you don't want to. The hotel […] is a little older so rooms are bigger than some of the new places of today. Furnishings are comfortable, including new queen beds and lcd tv. What I particularly like is how you can drive in, park, access the door, get on the elevator and get up to your room so easily. It makes it so convenient to use the car and the proximity to a major intersection (Paradise and Flamingo) makes it easy to head in any direction as soon as you leave the parking lot. Food in the restaurant and buffet is located on the second floor next to each other and is well worth what they charge. There are great food deals here. The place has a small outdoor pool and garden area inside the quad of the hotel. Since it is surrounded by the four walls of the buildings, it is a quiet oasis to enjoy in the sun shine (like with late morning coffee). Some of the public areas look like they could use a good scrub, but I could let that slide because of all of the other positives this place has to offer. Lisez la suite

The name of the hotel says it all....TERRIBLE!

The set-up of the hotel/casino is confusing to a first time visitor. It was necessary for me to seek assistance several times in order to locate some of the amenities, elevators etc. In addition to that, at least two employees could not provide answers to questions I asked and they were not particularly pleasant in attitude. I want to make a point of […] saying, however, that the security personnel were extremely pleasant, helpful and generous with their time and attention. I stayed at the hotel on the recommendation of a shuttle service I was using who also pointed out that I would receive a discount on my room because of an arrangement between the two businesses. However, since I had booked through Hotels.com, this was not allowed. I paid a lot more for the room than it would have cost me to stay elsewhere and take a taxi to Terrible's for the shuttle pick-up. Since the accomodations were nothing out of the ordinary, I would not make the same mistake again. Lisez la suite

Room was nice & quiet, however when I wished to extend my stay due to other reservation complacations, hotel.com staff said that they had arraigned it. When checking to see several days later, I found that they had NOT and was left scrambling for a second hotel at the last minute.

As a local from 60 miles away I appreciate being able to stay in a hotel and not feel I'm being 'ripped off' by Resort Fees. This hotel has none and I commend that lack of hypocrisy. I've stayed often at Terrible's in the past two years for business. Previously its been great but my last visit was basically OK except the desk clerk was 'off'. Never […] happened before. Because I was once placed in a noise affected room I always ask politely on arrival not to be put near the noisy a/c intake machinery for the casino, which is just where I was placed on this occasion. Once in the room, I wanted to phone and request a change. Phone made all the right noises but never connected anywhere. After going to the desk I was eventually given another room - but the clerk found it difficult to be courteous and detached. (Understatement!) Service at the Bouganvillea Cafe was so slow - I left. This is in stark contrast to my previous stays - but I'll still go back as there is much good about the location and the price. I have enough positive previous experience not to be turned off - yet. I have stayed here several times and it is usually because the pricing is always among the lowest for the quality and location of the hotel. Their restaurant and buffet is reasonable in both price and quality so if you don't feel like getting in a cab or car to go eat, you don't need to. The people are helpful and friendly and the service folks who […] clean the rooms take pride in the performance of their tasks, tip 'em as I never worried about things disappearing and without them, your room would probably remain messy. 7 minutes from the convention center, free parking and internet - if all you need is a place to park yourself at night or more, You won't go wrong with Terrible's. Very poor service. The hotel shuttle never came to pick me up at the airport. Fortunately, another hotel shuttle was kind enough to drop me off. I will never stay here again.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asked, but there was one unfortunate experience. The fire alarm (false alarm, thank goodness) went off at 1:30am and again near 2:00am, and the sound was so loud it was debilitating -- I couldn't move because I was all curled up trying to prevent the piercing sound from poking a hole in my brain.

The element of people in the casino was a bit scary. I would never bring my wife or children to this place. The rooms in the new tower are very nice, updated, and clean. If your looking only for a place to rest your head at night this is a good place. If your looking for the whole casino / restaurant experience its not the place or you.

The hotel was nice. Close to the convention Center. About what you would expect for the price. If we need to go to the Convention Center again, we will probably stay here.

We found Terrible's to be a clean, no frills place to stay. The food was fresh and moderately priced. The restaurant is 24 hour for that after show meal. There is a free shuttle to the airport and you can pick up the local bus across the street. We'd stay here again.

in general, it is good. Internet works fine. free shuttle to airport. good rates. no resort fee. great bargain. but no complimentary breakfast. TV signal not clear. The heating system did not work but had very loud noise interfering getting into sleep. could smell smoke even in a non-smoking room, probably due to the smoke from Casino.

This hotel has seen its better day. It's in desperate need of updating. The rooms are outdated and carpets filthy. Broken shower head and missing tile in the bath and a trash can with condom wrappers in it greeted me for my stay.

easy check in and great for the weekend.

Airport shuttle was extremely convenient. Hotel room could use a thorough cleaning, especially bathroom. Room walls must be thin due to noise from other rooms. Casino seemed too cramped and smokier than most. Buffet was closed for some reason so the regular restaurant was pretty busy. Food and service was average.

The hotel rate is fair. If they had a non-smoking slot area it would be great. The specials in the Bouganvilla restaurant room are nice but sometimes it seems that the service could be faster. The pool area is lush, with secluded spots;it's better than the Jockey Club has to offer. Don't hesitate to book a room based on it's location off the Strip. […] As long as you have a car, you can avoid the congestion (parking & pedestrians) on the Strip. The kiosk for Player's Membership is not really explanatory for all the rewards that appear to be offered. The TV stations are minimal. Lisez la suite

Have stayed several times at this hotel. It is very close to the airport and the airport shuttle is a huge bonus. Be prepared for major smoke in the casino. Several places to eat within walking distance.

I was on the ground floor - facing the workers parking lot and directly under the runways for the airport. WORST night in Vegas EVER !!!

The hotel is a product that is consistent-2 1/2 to 3 star, always clean, nicely kept, and has the things I need: workout room, coffee in room, and some cable. This trip the computer did not work but I had my own laptop connection. Wireless is crazy!

Upon awakening I found several cockroaches on my walls. Gross
