"Never again!!!!!!"
Disgusting place to stay. I have stayed in a lot of Ramada's, but this one is the worst. I will never ever stay there again. I work for a hotel chain, so next time I will stay in one of their hotels. The room was filthy, furniture in the hallways, snack machines with nothing in them. Restaurant next door The Thai place was fairly clean, except our server […] needed to bathe, food was priced too high for what you received. Lisez la suite

"The Ramada limited - A very comfortable room."
This hotel was a very nice place to crash after my swimming meet in Calgary, Alberta. This hotel, however, is pretty far from the airport (The cab ride was $40). It was a good price and the room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was a little weak and the room is very small with a lot of people in it in the morning. I would possibly stay again […] if I was travelling to Calgary, Alberta again. Kevin - Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Lisez la suite
"Ramada Limited Calgary"
We stayed as a stop over after flying in late. Room was bigger then expected but, the carpet looked like it had not been vaccumed in while, dust build up head boards, and was not sure if sheets where even clean. Room walls in need of repair. Bathroom was updated but only had one bath towel and facecloth for 4 people. Free Breakfast was good. Definately […] got for what we paid. Lisez la suite

"A loud noisy area"
I reserved 3 rooms as my family went down for a wedding. The check in clerk was not friendly and was not welcoming. The room was average however I was awakened by loud talikg in the next suite and my family in another room was subject a noisy party. Other people complained when they checked out about broken fridges. I would not stay again
"Ramada Banff Tr Calgary"
The room was clean enough. Dated but what do you want for the price you paid. The so called breakfast is a joke. Great for a place to crash for the night. Not recommended for any sort of extended stay. Didn't find any elevators (?). Hiking a few bags up the stairs wasn't my idea of a good time at 2 am.
"bueno, bonito y barrato"
THe hotel was well located and was nicer than we expected given the price and the service was fantastic.
"Best feature: free Internet access"
so we could get online and find a better hotel!!! Dirty, broken furniture, & very likely had previous break ins through the "balcony" door (overlooking the dumpsters). We played a rousing game of "identify the sticky bits in the carpet" & were more than happy to walk away from a pre-paid room rather than stay there for the whole time we had booked. […] Yuck! "Location sacks"
I was dissapointed due to it is advatised as "airport " location, it is far from airport. The hotel price is good, but the taxi from airport $ 35.00 + tip $ 5 total $40.00 one way. return a nother $40.00 It cost more then the hotel it self. The heating bangt all night, every 10 min. we coudn't sleep at all. Please if you advertize " airport Hotel or […] close to airport" it should be so. We wore very disapointed. Lisez la suite
"Not a good place to stay"
The arm rests on the 2 chairs were falling off, the floor had grass or straw all over it, bathroom was filthy very dirty, and the doors from the rooms close banged the full night, should have stayed with my wife and 2 kids in the car!!! Had to also wait a long time as they couldn't find our reservation!

Hotel was OK. However, when I looked at the bed, it appeared some one had slept in it. The sheets where wrinkled, not smooth as expected. I would suggest, that st aff should be more careful in making beds. The breakfast w as VERY good and I enjoyed the fact, that I was able to sit down to eat. Something that was missing in other places I have stayed. Keep […] up the good work Lisez la suite

"Upgraded but still noisy"
In Motel Village Calgary. This Ramada location has made some changes and upgrades. The rooms are fresher, the beds and linens newer. That's the up side. The down side is the noisy neighbourhood and the fact that my room had a door that opened directly to the outside (where I had to listen to the conversations of all late arrivals, shortening my sle […] ep). The thermostate was turned up to 90 when I walked into the room, had to open windows the the door to the balcony. "A place for the budget-conscious traveller"
This hotel really needs a make over. The rooms smell, towels are frayed and in poor condition, shower/tubs are old.. finishes show signs of rust and the carpets are worn. However, all these things are not bad to the point where they cannot be overlooked if you're tight on cash, and need a decent place to stay. Not sure if the same can be said in a few […] years time. There are worse hotels in this area and at least the staff is friendly and the beds are pretty comfy, as they advertise. The prices are going up for all the hotels in this area. If you are looking for a cheap but decent hotel, not sure it gets much better than the Ramada. I wouldn't recommend staying there for any longer than a couple days though. Lisez la suite

Within walking distance to resteraunts (Dennys, Red Lobster, Domino's Pizza, Phil's Pancake), train system station across the street (very quiet) walking distance to MacMann stadium. "The Hotel Ramada Ltd is accessible to any rides"
This hotel is accessible to malls, church and going to downtown. They need to sanitized the towels and linens coz the smell is not good and the stain is still their. Coffee maker should be clean coz it is used for drink coffee or tea. I can recommend it because it's easy to go anywhere and the price is fair
"Stay Away!"
This was the absolute worst place I've ever stayed in. First of all, the smell in the room was awful...airing the room out made in barely bearable. The floors were dirty and probably hadn't ever been vacuumed. I found hair on the towels and in the sheets which by the way were dingy and stained. Housekeeping left a garbage can with dirty soapy water […] and rags in the room for my whole stay and it's safe to say that the only "housekeeping" they ever did was to leave new towels and empty trash. (It's very likely that the rags were left by the previous guests...) The sheets were never changed even after I questioned front desk...they told me it's changed every few days or so...I was stuck in this hell for 8 days. The kitchen had blood stains on the floor. Housekeeping also unplugged our fridge which left all our food items to be spoiled. The list goes on and on. Oh, I almost forgot how housekeeping left the curtains wide open with our valuables on display for anyone to try to break-in and steal (we were on the ground level and the neighborhood was questionable). I brought all this to the front desk's attention but nothing was ever done about any of these issues other than leaving the curtains closed. I certainly wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel experience but this was the worst ever!! All I wanted was a decent and CLEAN room. If you are looking for a clean place to rest your head, stay far far away from here. PS. The sign in front of the hotel boasts "new comfy beds"...these folks sure have no problems with false advertising. One of the beds in my room was seriously concave in the middle...it should have been thrown out ages ago. Lisez la suite
"Horrible So horrable Don't go"
Dirty, uncomfortable, bad smell, blood spot, like a animal cage. Never clean out or move out a dirty water container with dirty mob while I was staying a week. Complain is not working and request to contct Hotel.Com. I never seen such a place in my life. The name of Ramada is shameful. Don't go, cheap is cheap.....
"Not quite good enough"
Any repeat visitor to Calgary knows what the Banff Trail is - an it is generally good value; which to any traveller is important. The Ramada - the staff was very nice and helpful. The linen was clean and the bathroom was small but had a nice shower and was clean. The problem was the carpet on floor was so filthy - it had not been cleaned "since who […] knows when". I kept a pair of shoes next to the bed so in the middle of the night I could walk to the bathroom. The kitchen chairs we equally as dirty, and the kitchen itself had no utensiles - not even an ice bucket. I asked for an iron to go with the ironing board , but it never turned up. Would I stay there again - never! Not when $5.00 more down the street gets you a hotel room that you can walk in barefoot. Thank you.Terry C, Toronto Lisez la suite
"Decent but not great, good value for Calgary"
I stay here every time i'm in Calgary as the location is great and the rooms are ok for the price i usually pay. On this trip i was in room 159 which is quite large, with a fridge & microwave, as well as indoor and outdoor entries. Low ceiling in bathroom is kinda grungy and i reinstalled the ceiling vent fan cover myself. Room was mainly clean, though […] a couple smarties (or M&M's) right beside the bed made me wonder just how quick a cleaning job was done. Front desk service is always pretty good and they did accommodate an early check in, as well as let me park my vehicle there after checkout while i worked with a colleague. There are no cheap rooms in Calgary, so this is where i have hung my hat for the last 4 trips to Cow Town. Over and out. Lisez la suite

its a ok hotel downtown access and cheap but avoid football nights unless you are there for the football then its awesome right across the street.
"Extremely poor."
The rooms were worse then most third world countries I've been to. the noise of slamming doors all through the night was another story. The sheets were dirty and the bed cover as well. the desk chair arms fell of and the list goes on. NO AC. WORN out electrical sockets. Don't waste the money on it and spend it on a place that is 10$ more, its worth […] it. Lisez la suite

"Ramada Limited, Calgary"
Clean, decent heated pool, hot tub, continental breakfast with waffles, cereal, toast, pastries, OJ, Apple juice, milk, coffee/tea. Breakfast area a bit small, but not bad. Kids really liked the pool. Nice warm temperature on a cool day, indoor, but no shower and changeroom/bathroom is out of the pool area, in the laundry area. But that was not too […] bad. "A simple older motel; a good deal for the price"
I stayed here for 12 nights while visiting friends in Calgary. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright, although small. The continental breakfast was simple, but the eating area was small. The location, across from a stop on the LRT, was very convenient. There were many restauarants within walking distance.
"You don't get what you don't pay for..."
This was the cheapest hotel in calgary for a reason, this privately owned hotel is fairly disgusting and broken down. It is hands down the worst hotel i have ever seen, but I was not disappointed about what i got for the price i paid.
"Ramada Limited Calgary"
Found the building somewhat dirty. The room itself was not too bad, but I didn't want to take my socks off. The sheets were clean however. It seemed the walls between rooms were very thin as I could hear the people beside us fairly clearly. I was listening to the local news out of their room at midnight. Service was good.
"Ramada inn Calgary motel village"
The room was not clean , when we told the front desk he shrugged it off and said he would tell housekeeping....too late for our benefit ! It was very noisy , walls were like paper ! The hallways were dirty and the door next to us looked like it had been recently broken into . However , had we been able to sleep ? The beds were new and comfy

I had to plug in the bed side lamps and alarm clock, that was the only trouble. The rate was reasonable and they gave my group a late check out which was wonderful.
