Hampton Inn Nanuet - Nanuet

I can clearly hear the next room guest talking, watching TV, or the ringtone from their cellphones. Otherwise, it is a good place. I am not going back.

This was the 12th time staying at this hotel. As always the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were in great condition, the beds very comfy and overall it was a great stay. Highly recommend this hotel to any traveller: business or pleasure.

I found my stay at the hampton inn to be very comfortable and warm. Everything was clean, and in great condition. I really enjoyed my two nights there. It made me being away from home a little more tolerable.

Immaculate, attractive room with a practical layout....My only little sigh is in response to the mattress too easily slipping off the boxspring (never experienced this before in a hotel...)...So nice to have the Complimentary Breakfast!

Loved everything. My kids and I had a good time.

Nothing specific is wrong with the place--just that it is relatively new and furnished poorly. Mattresses were good--heat was noisy--breakfast was very good. Next time I'll try the Hilten Garden Inn next door--about the same price--and age--probably more pleasant.

Nice cover to bed, slept great, very cotton'y. Everything seemed new, nice fixtures, was very surprised, did not expect it to be that nice. Had four kinds of coffee instead of two, which made me happy, I like the very bold style coffee. Decent breakfast buffet included. USA Today included. Would definitely stay there again when I'm there again.

This Hampton Inn was very comfortable and in a convenient location for my business trip. The stay was wonderful and the hot breakfast was filling and satisfying.

The Hampton Inn in Nanuet was super... clean, comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful during this holiday season. Breakfast was very good, but only on some days. Parking was free. Location was fair but the entrance was difficult to manoeuvre.

I stayed here only for 1 night and it was clean, service was great and safe. Room was fantastic and beds were soooo comfortable! Definetely recommend. Free Breakfast from 6-10 AM can't beat it!

The hotel is very good and its location is excellent for those visiting nanuet. We were mis informed by one of the employees at the time of booking and when we were not able to get to the hotel, the employee on duty was totally uninformed about how to get to their hotel. Once we found our way, the rest was excellent

We stayed here because we were going to the outlet mall. Fantastic free breakfast - more then we were expecting. Had a problem with noise in room next to us, called front desk and they took care of it IMMEDIATELY and came and said if we had any more problems to let them know. Friendly staff and very helpful. The floor to the room was constantly damp and even the sheets to the bed felt damp. The sheets in generally were old and worn. The tub did not drain well so you stood in the water while taking a shower. The first night, the beds were not correctly on their rails and my husband cut his leg because the rail was sticking do far out and was sharp. They […] fixed this the next day and offered to move rooms but we had already unpacked so stayed where we were. Breakfast was ok, not great. I thought it was interesting that the trash was carried out through the breakfast area while we were eating, plus it was taken up and down the guest elevator - what happened to service elevators? The staff was extremely friendly and did offer to move us into another room, but we were overall disappointed with the hotel and probably would not stay there again. Hampton Nanuet was everything we needed. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The continental breakfast was far more than we expected and the hotel staff was more than willing to help with our dietary needs. Hotel is very close to a shopping mall and many restaurants for easy access during your stay. […] I thought that the highway right outside the window would keep me up but you couldn't hear anything. Even with capacity booking, Hampton Inn, Nanuet, NY staff went out of their way to accomodate guests' needs. Great value. Pleasant, friendly atmosphere.

The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms are updated and the granite countertops are nice. The only thing that does not look updated are the TVs. We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Nanuet our second night, and the Hampton was MUCH nicer.

had i great time with my girlfriend at this hotel. very clean nice pool breakfast was good. bed pillows and blankets very very very comfortable.

The front desk is very confused. When I got there I had booked a room for two nights there was only one booked and we had to pay for the other night. We then wanted to extend our stay another day and was told it was put on hold. The next day we went to pay and the hotel was completely sold out. We then had to find another hotel for another night. I have been telling everybody how wonderful it was to stay at the Hampton Inn. The room was very comfortable with two Queen beds. I looked forward to the different breakfast selections each morning and making my own waffle. The staff went out of their way to be kind and courteous, even printing out our boarding pass for us the night before we left when […] the computer, which was free to use, was not working that well.. There is always coffee and tea available and even bottles of water if you forgot to bring yours before going out. It was also very convenient to every place we visited. Lisez la suite

I thought this was going to be much better, due to the other reviews. The bed was very comfortable, the front desk women was not very friendly (tho i can live with that), the pool was dirty with toys left everywhere and no towels (not fun to walk back to the room with my swimsuit...)... there was no whirlpool, but a weight room. The bathroom was poorly […] designed, (could not reach the mirror to see face in morning, handle in tub was in the way, shower head weirdly short, tub small). The breakfast was a nice surprise and the man working in that area was wonderful. He was friendly, helpful and looked like he enjoyed his work. Which really does make waking up nice. The hotel is convenient if you are getting back on the highway to go to NY, and there are a few chains to eat at near the hotel. overall great, only issue is our sick kept getting backed up and good take a long time to drain. Great selection for morning breakfast..... great for the cost

Our room was very clean, 2 queen beds. Small for family of 4, but easy. Front desk staff was awesome! Breakfast needed bacon.

This was the second time I have stayed here. We plan an overnight to celebrate my niece's 13th Birthday. We hung out at the Palisades Mall, swam in the hotel pool and cut a cake. The stay was nice. Great stay. The hotel was nicely decorated. The bed was so confortable. Each room came equipt with microwave and fridge. Also, the breakfast had scambled eggs and bacon! I truly enjoyed my stay there. PS: we forgot diamond earring next to the sink and called them. They quickly had house keeping check for them and called us and advised that they found […] them. The hotel looked and was very clean. Rooms were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were nice. The rooms all had a sofa and a very big desk, which is a definite plus.

For this price range, this hotel is excellent. The walls are a bit too thin, we could hear everything from the late adult party happening in the room next to us.

this hotel was all i hoped it would be great service and great up keep of the hotel everything was great my daughter loved the free breakfast the next morning all in all i would come back to this hotel again

Very nice hot breakfast. Friendly staff. Pool was pleasant. I was the only one using it so I could do laps. Gym only has three machines and one was out of order. I attended a conference at a nearby hotel. The conference hotel had fewer amenities but cost twice as much.

Based on our stay at this Hampton Inn, we will be choosing Hampton Inns for future hotel stays. The room/fixtures were in excellent condition. The bed was comfortable---nice bedding and pillows. The microwave and fridge were very handy. The microwave was a little small but it worked fine and was perfectly clean, as was the fridge. The desk with its […] internet connections (we used their wifi) was nicely setup. The TV even had a game controller. Breakfast was very nice--hot and cold choices, fresh fruit, real juice! good coffee. The exercise room was small with nice equipment. The indoor pool was very clean and mostly unused when we were there. It was nice--the kids loved it . There were plenty of towels on hand, which I don't usually find at hotel pools. very clean, breakfast was good and staff very friendly, had a refrigerator - very convenient especially when traveling with kids. overall will recommend it to others.

Often with our travels we come upon a hotel that stands out above all others (in its class) The employees at Hampton Inn, Nanuet, New York made our stay their for Thanksgiving AMAZING. Both my wife and myself are originally from that area and we always come down on the Thanksgiving Holiday. Last year we missed it due to the birth of our grandaughter. […] So this year we were excited to come down and visit with family. We walked into the hotel and were greeted with Hi Mr. and Mrs. E. What a pleasure to see you again. This meant so much to both my wife and I. The staff there is AMAZING. They will do anything and everything to make a stay in their hotel enjoyable and fun. Both my wife and I have only good things to say about it. PLEASE make sure the Hilton chain knows that there are people and staff that really care. I put this hotel on my # 1 list in that area. This was my second stay at the Hampton Inn Nanuet and for the second time I was very very pleased with the service, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. I intend to stay here when I visit my family in New York again. The rooms were very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. Worthy of 2 stars--at most. not overly clean,very noisy, limited tv channel selection, few amenities. in sum--okay for last minute travel--but way over priced. fairfield inn nearby is much nicer--and much cleaner.

The hotel was really great. The service and breakfast was good too. I have only two complaints: 1) the a/c made loud noise when it came on, 2) had to do u-turn to get to entrance coming from north side

the room was very nice, and the bed was suprisingly comfortable. the breakfast was excellent and very generous; the coffee was especially excellent. the best we have ever had at a motel/hotel. a very satisfying stay; we could not be more satisfied.

The stay was pleasant. The staff was helpful, courteous. I would recommend to others, especially with children to stay here. I saw few families with children and they looked happy.

I chose to stay at this hotel after reading 2 other reviews on it. I must say, this hotel is great. There is plenty of parking, it's easy to find, and the staff is very friendly and courteous. The free breakfast was ok. I think they need to add more variety to their menu, but hey, it's free! The rooms were big (stayed in the 1 bedroom King Studio suite) […] and clean as well. Overall a very happy customer and a very happy experience. Palisades Center Mall is 1 exit away on the highway and is the best mall i have ever been to. Woodbury Commons Outlet is 20 miles away, and right on Route 59 where the hotel is, there are a ton of places to eat and shop. Lisez la suite

Beautiful hotel, very pleasant service would definitely stay again!

My only issues are that there were no yellow pages in my room, and the front desk couldn't provide a copy. Also, there was a problem with the door in room 119. It was difficult to close and the housekeeper couldn't figure it out after waking me up in the AM.
