This is an excellent hotel with a great location. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Close to Golden Gate bridge for trip into San Francisco. The restaurant that is located under the hotel is superb would highly recommend it. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. I had left my coat in the car that was put away for the night and the valet went […] and got it for me with a smile! Quite frankly, it could not have been better...I almost don't want to give this review because I want to keep this place a secret for myself!!! The front desk was unbelievably helpful! My next trip to the Bay Area will automatically include staying here!!!

Spectacular views and awesome balcony made for a very romantic setting. Wood burning fireplace was used quite a bit on our stay and the staff was very accomadating to get us all the wood we requested. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and they did everything with a smile. The room was very comfortable and the bed was extremely comfortable […] especially when we ordered the complimentary "love pillows". This hotel was everything I hoped it would be since I had planned to ask my long time girlfriend to marry me during our stay and it made the moment more special. Oh my gosh! It couldn't have been more wonderful. We liked it the first time we stayed there about 3 years ago or so. Now it's in different hands and it's really top-notch. They were so accommodating and the room was magnificent. We loved every minute of it. The staff was great....We will go again for certain.

Pristine room with outstanding view. The television cable did not work so the hotel worked with us on having extended check out..a fair exchange. The hotel handled our Thanksgiving reservation changes at the restaurants. It is worth the extra to stay in the hilside section

What a beautiful view from our balcony! Couldn't have been better view of the bay, boats, and the main street with everything going on. Great location with everything in walking distance. The staff was helpful with recommendations and reservations. My wife loved the room decor and cleanliness.

Excellent. Still the air condition in our room was too noisy. The wifi didn't work with our apple devices but they offered us the parking of our car. Great location though, nice spa. We recommand.

The staff at Casa Madrona are wonderful. My girlfriend and I got engaged while there, and the staff helped out tremendously by having a very nice bouquet of roses and a bottle of champagne placed inside our room prior to our arrival. Overall, a great experience. A beautiful hotel centrally located in "downtown" Sausalito with a pretty view of the harbor. The fastest valet service I've encountered and the in-house Spa is incredible. Easy to get to San Fran if you have a car. We will definitely be returning to this hotel the next time we are in the area.

lovely hotel right in the heart of Sausailito within easy driving distance of the city. Beautiful big rooms with great bathrooms. Ours faced the courtyard so was very quiet, not sure if road facing rooms would be noisier. Free live music in the park across the road on Friday night. Great food right next door. Perfect!

Casa Madrona was a great hotel, really nice staff, large rooms, they upgraded my room for free which was really great. Would definitely stay there again, clean, modern, spa and great location. Prefer staying in Sausalito over downtown SF, easy to take the ferry over and more charming.

I wasn't to pleased with the room and the condition of it. The shower made a very loud noise and the tub was filthy and the sinks where literally caked with old toothpaste I will ever recommend this place ever i felt looked down on since I have tattoos which was not cool

Live in San Mateo, just 40 mins away. What a great get away for the weekend. Everyone one was very nice and professional. Next time will have to take advantage of the spa. Will definately be back soon.

Everything about Casa Madrona was top notch except for the noise during the night. There were several rooms close by on our floor witth guests who must have had a party that did not end until about 2:00 in the morning. A call to the front desk was useless. When we left in the morning the person at the front desk did not even ask us how are stay was. […] For whatever it is worth we let this individual know that our night trying to sleep ruined our otherwise memorable stay. So long as your fellow guests behave appropriately I am sure you have a wonderful stay at the Casa Madrona. Lisez la suite

We stated one night on way back home, but wish we would have stayed another night. The hotel has great location, very boutique feel and loved the spacious room, bed was super comfortable, bathroom had shower and tub and very spacious also. Loved it.

We stayed in one of the hillside rooms, instead of the old building. At first they put us right above the storefronts, but I could hear conversations of passers-by. We were then moved up a couple of "flights", and, although it wasn't as noisy, there was still a lot of traffic noise and door-slamming (why is it that people can't just close the door quietly?!?). […] The rooms were well-done - no wood for the fireplace, and the stairs leading up to the bathroom were hard to see at night. The bed was a little hard for me, but the shower was wonderful, the valet parking people were all really nice and the restaurant next door (Poggio) was fantastic. There were double blinds that one had to crank chains to put up or down (ouch!), but there was an elevator, fluffy robes and an all-important refrigerator. This is a very nice hotel in the middle of things, upscale but not snotty. The only caveat is that our courtyard room was 2 levels, making it a little awkward to negotiate around.
