Regency Lodge - Omaha

walls and door jams dirty in room, two out of three of our days hot tub was not above 87degrees, told by employees that a new hot tub was needed. Breakfast was bare min. no fruit. no selections. very disapointed:( we have stayed here before although it's been a few years we would not stay again. Customer service, poor.

This was by far the nicest hotel we've been to in the past year. Decor was lovely, rooms quiet and spacious. We'll definitely go back.

When I first arrived I was frazzled after a 9 hour drive and a tornado. The front staff was very nice and asked if they could do anything for me. I had a very busy weekend planned and was in an out but they actually remembered who I was and asked throughout the weekend how I was holding up. I have a very bad back and most beds kill me within an hour […] of sleeping, to my surprise I slept through the night and woke the next day without back pain. The pillows are a little flat and I wish they had been fuller or fluffier but the room was very nice. My kids and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the breakfast buffet is ok. It has hot eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast, cereal and oatmeal. The oatmeal unfortunately is very runny and the coffee is a little weak. But overall it was a great hotel and I know that I will be staying there again when I am back in Omaha; it was just nicely convenient by the highway that wherever I needed to be was only a 10 minute drive. I would recommend the hotel if you are planning on staying in western Omaha! Lisez la suite

The lobby was impressive, which was nice because the neighborhood was a little suspect. Check in was easy but when we got to our room, they had brought the pack-and-play but they had no sheets for it. They offered us a queen sized sheet set. It wasn't optimal but I don't understand why you would offer a crib but no sheets for it. The room wasn't lit […] very well and the TV was a little old. Overall it was a clean room but paled in comparison for the lobby area. The breakfast buffet was nice but it would be nice to have some yogurt and a little better fruit choices. Its a great location for shopping and eating out. Has a large pool, sauna and hot tub. The only thing that was a let down was the hot tub did not get hot only Luke warm. Bed were nice and soft. The breakfast in am was a plus also. Would stay there a gain.

There needs to be at least one phone book at the front desk with local personal numbers. This hotel had one book, business numbers only.

Really nice hotel, comfortable, a real bargain.

Upon checking in, the staff was less than welcoming. Beyond that, nice rooms, breakfast was good and hotel in general is well kept.

Regency Lodge is a real nice place to stay! It is right off the highway so it's easy to find! To my surprise we couldn't even hear any highway noise, so don't let that bother you. I was impressed with the quality of the facilities. I usually notice things like dank smells, doors that stick, leaks in the hallway ceiling, trim that's not fastened to the […] wall, etc, but I didn't see any of that in this place. And some hotels give you that really cheap feeling like they're made out of cardboard and popsicle sticks - not this place. It's built solid and well maintained. Part of what helped this was that this IS a LODGE. The lounge had a great American log cabin lodge feel, and the decor theme carried down the halls and into the rooms as well. The furniture, trim, room decor, and decor in commons areas all carried the theme. We picked Regency Lodge the day we drove into Omaha and got a great discount for making the late reservation, but even the full price was significantly less than the competition where we'd stayed before (TownePlace Suites in West Omaha). I tend to stay a lot at Residence Inn locations and in comparison to these two Marriott brands, Regency Lodge is a bargain. As far as kitchenette setups, if you're going to do much cooking this would not be the place to pick (based on the room we got). It was a very small mini fridge and microwave, but that's just what you need to keep leftovers and zap them back to life. Lisez la suite

Hotel was very nice. There was a wedding reception held there during our stay and we could hear the noise from the people attending the party going thru the hallways into the wee hours of the morning. needs updating and refurbishing. room was clean, not enough pillows, bed was not comfortable.We were put in a room in a wing of the hotel which was occupied by 2 or 3 junior high girls soccer teams in town for a tourney. Ours was the only room on this wing NOT occupied by these teams.The noise level is to be expected from girls in this type of situation […] but why put us in a room on this wing when it was OBVIOUS the hotel was not near fully occupied. I tried to step outside of my comfort zone and where did that get me? The hotel smelt damp and was quite dark. The decor was nothing to write home about. Even the breakfast was boring. The only thing good about this hotel was the access to the interstate. I was not impressed at all

it is a conveinent location all right but if you have a room in the west wing be prepared to listen to every 18 wheeler that downshifts outside your window all night long. If you are on the first floor as we were then you might experience a dank musty smell. if you are next to a large suite then you might experience a late night party for young people […] craming in for the evening exceeding the room guest limit and partying the evening through. the lobby is nice, the breaskfast is well presented. Just dont stay in the bad rooms near the freeway noise. Lisez la suite

We were very satisfied with Regency Lodge; it was a very good value for the money. It was surprising to have bacon, eggs, & hashbrowns for breakfast each morning. The only disapointment was the hot tub, which was not only not hot, but very small as well.

It was a nice hotel, but I have stayed in better for the same price. The breakfast was ok, it was hot but not alot to pick from. The bed was firm for a pillowtop. Did not sleep well.

This hotel is in a nice area and convenient for what we wanted to do in Omaha. It is right off of 680 and real close to I-80 and Dodge. My only complaint which is a major one is the quality of the pillows. I do not know if that is how it is in all rooms but we had 4 pillows in our room and all four were flat and really hard. I actually woke up with […] a headache in the middle of the night because of this. I did not bring this up withthe front desk as we woke up and were on our way early that next morning. convenient to interstate and shopping areas. breakfast buffet was warm and plenty to choose from. it was off the i-state but i could not hear the traffic. vey quiet location! hotel offered an outdoor area for swimming and a patio area off of their bar. very nice and inviting hotel. I would recommend!

Located at 107th & Pacific, the Regency Lodge is convenient to upscale shopping, a prime neighborhood and main roads to get you anywhere in the city quickly and easily. The hotel was very nice, the pool is nice, breakfast was really good, and there is a nice bar there. Our room was just damp, and smelled very musty. I think it was just our room but not sure. I don't know if there was something wrong with the A/C unit or what was going on. The floor was damp and the bed sheets were damp. We did tell the lady at the […] front desk, and all she said was that it was probably from the humidity outside. Which is a lie because I have stayed in many hotels when the humidity is higher and have never had that problem. This is why I am blaming it on the A/C unit. We liked the hot breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns. Pool temp was chilly, but fine. Bathroom was a small. Was nice to have refridgerator and microwave. I enjoyed the art work in the hall.

We could here conversations from other rooms. Had to run the air conditioner all night to drown out the noise. The pool was very cold. Breakfast was fine.

This is a very nice hotel! Comfortable beds and rooms. Good breakfast. Would stay there again.

Have stayed here for several years on trips to Omaha. This time, room was not comfortable, had bad, musty smell & desperately needed updating.

The lobby and lounge area are very nice. The exterior of the hotel around the sides and back have outdoor entrances on the ground level and need work. The carpet is dated. Room was clean and we used the refrigerator and microwave. Wireless internet worked well. The pool is large enough to swim laps and goes to 9 ft, but the hot tub is a small one you […] would find on any number of resedential patios. The unsettling thing was across the parking lot in a mostly abandoned strip mall--The Blue Martini nightclub--it appeared to be a strip club from the outside. Patrons would come and go until 2 or 3 in the morning. I would have preferred to stay on the other side of the hotel. Overall, we believe we got what we paid for. we got a great rate and the hotel surpassed my expectations. clean rooms, great pool/hot tub/sauna. friendly service. beautifully landscaped. and the breakfast was awesome. will definitely stay there again.

We were really not all that impressed with this hotel. Definitely an old hotel that was updated, but more went into the lobby area than the rooms. Our room had the noisiest air conditioner that kept everyone up - we finally went without it. We could have opened the window, even though it was really hot, but the screen was bent, as if someone tried to […] break in at one point. The beds were fine but walls were dented in some areas. A panel under the sink to hide the pipes was broken and just sitting underneath. The door to our room and the bathroom door would not completely close, without noisy effort. The bathroom wasn't very nice and the shower was bad - the water pressure was bad as there wasn't a way to get the water to completely come out on top. The only staff we really even saw was the front desk person when we checked in and checked out, but they were very friendly. The free breakfast was just okay - nothing fancy and not much for variety, but appreciated it anyway. The set up of the hotel was a bit awkward, in a horseshoe but with no way to get to the middle - where our room was - without lugging stuff a considerable distance. My room was musty and damp - even with the AC running full out. Energy saving fluorescent bulbs were installed - which is a good thing, but all were under wattage to properly illuminate the room. With inadequate lighting, room decor all dark colors, and the dampness - I was reminded of a dungeon. The breakfast buffet was desparately in need of a fruit […] selection, some pastries, and something besides white bread to accompany the eggs! I stayed at a national hotel chain the next night for the exact same rate, and talk about day and night difference in comparison. Much better value, food, and comfort. stayed here 2 years ago and ran across a special again this year and took it. great bfast, clean rooms central omaha location. quick on and off interstate

Nice accomodations in a good area. Different than the usual hotel. Good breakfast included.

nothing special about the hotel itself. the lodge theme was done nicely. nice area with good shopping close by.

Really nice for the price, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast left a little to be desired but overall a great experience

We booked the Regency Lodge hotel for 2 nights so that we could spend the day in Omaha visiting. The first night we arrived early in the morning because of detours. The hotel clerk was ok but not very friendly like I needed after a long day. The had a luggage rack which we appreciated, but the elevator was very small and scary! We were put in a room […] with 2 beds which seemed like doubles. They were lumpy and uncomfortable with small awkward pillows. The room had very little water pressure in the shower and the toilet clogged easily. We had to hold the lever down for awhile. The next morning we went to breakfast and we thought it was decent even though there wasn't enough seating in the actual room. However, we sat in the lounge area. They had eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast, cereal and juice. It was all decent. After breakfast, I asked the front desk manager if I could switch to the room I originally booked for and she did switch us. She was not overly friendly but not rude either. She was a manager. Our next room was a king and I found that room to be much better. The bed was great and the pillows better. The space was very good in both rooms. We had a fridge and microwave.The water pressure was slightly better too. The mirror in the bathroom didn't fog above the sink either! We liked the towels and the pool was a tad cold but they had towels available there. We checked out the next morning and all of the breakfast items were the same except for in place of bacon was ham. We found the area to be beautiful and convenient. We could hear traffic during the day, but we didn't hear it at night. The woman who checked us out was truly friendly! We would stay again. The hotel room smelled like cat urine and was dirty. We were very unhappy with this hotel. I should have known there was a reason that it was more reasonably priced than the others for the night. I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all. Also, our room had a door to the outside which was a little scary!
