L'hotel est propre mais les chambres sont minuscules (lit deux personnes de 120 cm de large !) (on a cru avoir eu une chambre single mais non la reception nous en a presenté une seconde similaire). La reception est inefficace : une heure pour avoir les clés, forcément une seule personnes pou un hotel sur plusieurs batiments avec chaque client qui revient […] pour une réclamation une fois qu'il a les clés. je voyage beaucoup, cet hotel est un des pires que j'ai rencontré en europe, je ne le recommanderai surtout pas. everything was great, the only thing that they didnt have was a minibar . that would have the extra for a 10.

The hotel is conveniently close to the train station and tivoli which is useful for tourists. However, the room was pokey and lacked the usual comforts eg only plastic not proper mugs or glasses, breakfast very nice but pushed up the price of the hotel to be less cheap then appeared . The hotel is ideally located near the central station, townhall and museums. My small room was on the backyard and very quiet. Breakfast OK wth fresh fruit. The weak points are the tiny bathroom (all wet after a shower) and the old and clumsy decoration. This is really a 2-star hotel . The location of the hotel is very good. Close to Tivoli, trainstation, center shops among other. However, we did'nt get a very nice a polite and welcome feeling when we arrived. We got the feeling that the employee did'nt want to be there or was simply having a bad day. In my room and on my floor, had obviously been smoked, and there was this hint of […] smoking smell there. When i was going to bed, i noticed there was no pillow. I called the reception and he brought me one, but not satisfied at all. Seemed like i had been disturbing him. He did'nt say anything, just handed me the pillow. My travel friend did'nt have good experince either. In his room the window could not been closed and the ratiators did'nt work. When he asked for another room the employee at the reseption got really frustrated and stormed up 5 floors to check the room out. He finally agreed to give my friend a new room but not with a sorry nor a smile, simply like we where not welcome there and we where just bothering him. The staff tried to assign a standard room instead of superior that was paid for. They tried really hard to convince me but eventually they gave up and did give a nice superior room.

Good location if you don't mind bells from City Hall wake you up pretty early in the morning!

You get what you pay for with this hotel. Cheap but small and lacking certain amenities - no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. No wireless internet in your room (only in lobby). Expensive breakfast buffet. Staff not particularly helpful. But for a quick stay, it's got what you need (a bed and a shower)!

After a flight delay we arrived at 2.30 in the night with our two kids and received a warm welcome. Rooms are good and we had the possibility to upgrade to a junior suite inc. breakfast. Small but tidy room. No sleeper an d shampoo inside. Central station at 10 min walk, very good location for main attractions. However 15 min for 1st metro station. Very expensive breakfast. Good English at reception

I stayed at the Hotel Danmark for one night (Sat) when in Copenhagen to try a restaurant. I arrived early but was not able to check-in because my room was not available but reception was happy to take my bag for me. Positives: - great central location close to Tivoli, the main train station, main shopping area - hotel staff were friendly - good value […] (for a single room) - clean room Negatives: - the clock chimes are very loud and quite annoying - bed was a bit soft - the whole bathroom is effectively a wet room so the whole floor gets wet after a shower - only a soap dispenser Overall this hotel does what it says on the tin. This hotel is situated right next to the Town Hall, which has a loud clock that chimes all day and night. There are roadworks outside the hotel entrance and the noise is unbearable. The hotel room we had was so small that we had to climb over the bed to get to the other side of the room! No separation between shower and the rest of the bathroom so when you shower the whole bathroom gets wet. Water pressure not strong enough to rinse off soap let alone shampoo. Very good last minute deal for enormous suite. Only downside was the long hallway and several stairs to carry suitcases. Staff very friendly, location excellent.

Good location however service was not great. Arrived at the counter and was not even acknowledged for 10 mins whilst the girl played on the computer and when she finally did look up, all she said was "yes?". Great way to feel welcomed. When we asked about basic questions such as is there a laundry service? or why isn't the wi-fi working, we consistently […] got a i don't know without offering to find out the answer. The room we good looks very different to the picture and the carpet was full of stains. The bathroom also always flooded and wasn't cleaned properly everyday. Our 9-night stay was, overall, quite good. Pleasant, efficient service and excellent location. We had a very slow drain in bathroom sink that no one bothered to repair and breakfast, at $20 per person for cold cereal and lunch meats, was exorbitant, but we liked everything else.

We stayed for one night in this hotel and I would not recommend it in the heat of the summertime. The weather was very mild and fairly cool when we went (early May) and it was still hot in the room. We were on the first floor & close to ground level, so it was not a very good idea to open our windows because of the busy location of the hotel. The room was pretty roomy for a European hotel, bathroom a bit dated with the older tiles and tub, but tolerable if you are not staying for an extended time. Overall a good price for the room. The breakfast was excellent, but does cost extra. If you are used to modern hotels I would not necessarily recommend this, but like I said, a charming historic place. Absolutely do not take a car if you can keep from it. The location was central - I got around everywhere by walking. Central station was just three blocks away and I hardly used the subway/buses since everything was walkable. The rooms have cool decor and are comfortable. The hotel clerks weren't so friendly. I don't know if that is normal Danish hospitality.

The room we were given was clean and the bedding also. Reception desk was open at all times and staff were very accommodating e.g. asked for extra pillows and they were delivered very quickly. Enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would return if staying in Copenhagen another time. Very convenient for train and bus services.

A very good hotel in a conveninet location to shops and trasnproit - staff were friendy and helpful - rooms was comfortable and very god value. i would stay again.

Although the hotel looks modern from the outside the rooms are not. Tiny rooms with a tiny single bed, just enough room to turn around, no wardrobe, no iron, not much comfort there, you also need to bring your own soap, shampoo and body lotion. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

This hotel has a nice location, just next to the city square, and the main shoppingstreet. The staff is friendly and tries their best to make their guests feel comfortable. All in all very good value for your money.

The room was small, but not smaller than expected. Very thin glass towards a busy street - beware if you have trouble sleeping. A bit worn down room and some other areas in the hotel. Cool bathroom floor - but extremely cold! Very good location, nice, friendly and smooth staff. This hotel is very central. It's right next to the Tivoli Gardens for those who want to visit them. It's off several main shopping streets and less then 10 minutes walking from the train station. It's easy to get to and the staff were very nice and helpful. They provided us with extra tips about places to visit and gave good local restaurant advice. The […] breakfast was an OK buffet, but a bit pricey, but that's just typical Danish food costs. There was a decent amount of choice but not massive. The room was quite comfortable. A double bed with an extra cover layer, good TV and otherwise spacious room with a big window and quite bright. The bathroom was OK, it would have been nice to have a bathtub, but honestly for our original expectation of the time we meant to spend in the room, we didn't need much. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel. Even going as far as the Little Mermaid is feasible on foot but that's a good 30 minute walk, so you must be up for it and hope it's not too cold. The price that we paid was excellent value for money, per night per person it was the cost of a medium rated hostel but for much better quality and privacy, so definitely worth considering this hotel! It was a hotel room at a good price at a good location only two blocks from the main train station. That is saying something in Cophenhagen where travelers can somtimes experience some sticker shock. Showers are hot with good water pressure but there is no seperate stall. The drain is simply on the floor in the bathroom. On the plus side: Tea and Coffee […] available at a very reasonable cost. Did not have the breakfast available at an additonal charge but it seemed pretty good. I will book this hotel again on my next visit to Copenhagen Lisez la suite

The hotel has 5 floors and was in good condition. The size of the double room was small but average for European standards and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a wet room but did have a shower curtain which you could use (although it didn't really stop the rest of the bathroom from getting wet). The walls are very thin and we could hear both […] of our neighbours doing everything from opening a bag of crisps to talking on the mobile phone (and we could hear both sides of the conversation). It wasn't too much of a problem for us as we spent most of our time walking through the city and came back late to the hotel. The windows open onto a street which is busy all night long. Again not a problem in January when you can keep the windows closed but in the Summer it may pose a problem as the rooms aren't air conditioned and you will need to keep the windows open for air circulation. Good location but lousy room: Extremely small, no light in the bed lamp, bed falling apart, shower and toilet combined, no closet. All in all, not value for money.

All I can say is that everything has always been excellent. I have stayed there every trip for 11 years and would not think of staying elsewhere. The location is conveniently close to everything. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

We asked for a non-smoking room, but either the maid smoked in there or it has seen years of smokers because the room smelled like a stale ash-tray. Also, when we asked about breakfast, we were told that it was included. When we came to check out, they charged us 16 euros each per day for breakfast. While the the location was good, the rooms were unbelievably noisy as its on a major street. No reasonable person could sleep with this constant noise. This is further aggravated by the fact that there is no air conditioning and therefore the windows need to be open. Rooms were, at best, adequate. Something is up with the plumbing at this hotel. If you leave the bathroom door open while staying there beware...it exudes a stench from the sewers. Other than that everything was pretty average...but you are close to the Tivoli Gardens.
