Very comfortable with a minimal "full breakfast"

Checked in and after being double charged after paying full cost to hotels.com and spending over a half hour while they called the hrlp desk had to move from room that didnt have heat. The receptionist even knew it didnt, but wanted me to check it out myself. Room I changed to had broken blowdryer, no functioning iron, coffee pot was dirty, tub was […] nasty. Not a fun experience, not compensated, and staff the most unhelpful ever, except Sandy was very sweet. I will NEVER stay here or recommend this for my many stays in auburn, what an overpriced dump!! A completely forgettable experience...and sometimes that is everything you need in a hotel. Nothing was outstanding good or bad. Decent room, reasonable price, breakfast included, free wifi, and courteous staff. If you are staying in the area to access downtown or old-town Auburn, there are closer places to stay that are more convenient. Room was quiet. […] Exactly what we needed with two kids needing sleep for a swim meet in the area. Denny's across the street, Taco Bell next door. The person hanging around the lobby was a little odd. He seemed to be there 24 hrs a day

Motel is conveniently located for restaraunts and freeway access. Surprisingly quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Only criticism is that the dining room ran out of warm entrees(sausage and eggs) by 8:30 on a Sunday morning forcing us to seek breakfast elsewhere.

My daughter and I stayed there 3 nights. The staff was very nice. There was a gentleman there that hung around and had the same clothes on for all 4 days while I was there and he was always around! Kind of creepy. Come to find out he did not work there and I feel that could freak someone out. If my family wasn't also staying there. The hotel is very comfortable. The amenities are nice and as expected. The tv channels are great! Any time these include Turner Classic Movies (TCM) life is good. :)

This is a basic decent motel, nothing fancy but clean and adequate. Old town Auburn is just a few miles down the road, and there's a supermarket, gas stations, fast food very close. We stayed at the Motel 6 next door which was OK but this was better even though it was a little more.

Terrible nights sleep. Window AC units were un-normally loud, keeping me up. I tried to turn off and open the windows, but was awaken by passing train blasting horns. So ended up turning just the fan unit on - which was just as loud but stayed on consistently which is less disruptive than AC turning on and off all night waking you up each time. Excellent Service- Homemade Crepes, nice small but clean and new looking room. No trouble, friendly service.

Very quiet and convenient. A bit more expensive than other inns in the same proximity. The rooms are clean but very outdated. The breakfast was quite extensive; more than just coffee and a bagel. Unfortunately it open a bit late for me to enjoy.

The hotel was really convenient to I-80 and the continental breakfast was pretty good. We stayed here to go rafting in Coloma and it was an easy commute from the hotel. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very friendly, clean and comfortable. We had good facilities in our room including a fridge and microwave, and very comfy beds. Good breakfast in a very pleasant dining room. The highlight was the lovely pool and hot tub which we could hardly tear our children away from! Hotel is decent, clean, conveneient, safe, but on a hot summer day, stay away from the westerly exposure rooms. My room was 94 when I entered and it took 2 hours to cool down to 78.

Good value for 3 adults visiting from Australia. Quiet, off highway - clean and comfortable. Had to get help with shower and air con when arrived back from town after midnight - very helpful manager. Air con noisy but worked well on stuffy night. Breakfast better than others we've seen - included sausages and eggs. Hopefully all of these types of hotels […] will stop using throwaway plates and utensils - a massive waste every morning. Lisez la suite

We stay at the Comfort Inn Auburn practically every time we need a stopover on the way to our favorite ski areas in the Sierras. The place is well run and maintained, the service is friendly, and the price is right. This is a good place to stay if you are looking for reasonably priced accomodations with a pool and clean rooms, but don't need much else. I've stayed here twice now, and this hotel is nothing to get too excited about, but we found it comfortable with clean rooms and a good continental breakfast. Not within walking distance of much besides a taco bell […] and further down the road, a bowling alley. About 2 - 3 miles from downtown auburn. The room was a little pricey for what you get, but at least it was clean and safe. The free breakfast was awful--you get what you pay for. I would rather walk over to Denny's and pay for their garbage, than eat the free stuff at the hotel. If they would lower the rate and not serve the food, it would be a better deal. It was difficult to control the […] temperature in the room, and the fan stayed on all night and was noisy. Turned it off for a while, but it got unbearably stuffy in the room. The people were nice and helpful, the place seems to have been maintained well, and with the lack of other available options, I would have no problem staying there again. Lisez la suite

Quality of breakfast not up to the standard of other Comfort Inns. They were out basic supplies. Found all electrical devices unplug from the outlets. The refrigerator is critical for keeping medical prescriptions cool was hot. No controls were available for adjusting temp and during the night all prescriptions froze.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
