Cet hôtel possède un charme désuet. Idéalement placé pour visiter cette jolie ville. L'accueil y est très chaleureux.

Chambre très petite. Petit déjeuner très léger dans une toute petite salle qui sert aussi de hall d'accueil. Propriétaires sympathiques.

Personnels très accueillant et très agréable! Les chambre sont petites et décoration très rétro qui fait son charme. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

largement en dessous des normes d'espace et de confort US mais on oublie(un peu) du fait de l'accueil familial et sympa par un jeune couple qui fait le maximum avec un hotel desuet et un peu viellot..

It is over price for the condition of the hotel, but location is good.

Family owned & operated, so service & friendliness are tops! More than 1-2 nites; however, would be very uncomfortable as the rooms are small, bathrooms (TINY) & parking very limited. OLD furnishings add to the overall rundown feeling.

Delightful, family run small hotel downtown. Captures the feeling of the 1920-1940's. Service is personal and thoughtful. Breakfast and Happy Hour daily is generous. Off stree parking.

It is clean and charming. The owners Brian and Stephanie are most polite and helpful.

What this place lacks in "brand new comforts" it makes up for in location and friendliness. The owners are courteous, helpful and real people. I would highly recommend

conveniently located in historic downtown to parks, shopping, restaurants, tourist attractions on Tampa Bay. Lovely inn keepers, well informed and helpful. Simple & small, not luxurious but clean and very adequate rooms. Highly recommended.

On arrival we were made very welcome by the manager who brought us each a cup of coffee. The room while not particularly modern had a 'cottage' feel about it which made it feel very cosy. The bland name belies a quasi B+B in downtown St. Petersburg. The staff couldn't be friendlier, the room was extremely comfortable and very, very quiet. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be (close to University, etc). Great spot.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, staff is nice & professional and the free breakfast was good. Overall it was good for the price & was close enough to downtown but at a more reasonable price.

Very friendly owners. Conditions of the room were not what I expected. Mold in the shower and paint peeling very badly in the bathroom. Needs much renovation. It was supposed to feel like I was "home like" but I didn't feel that way. I have stayed in hotels that were renovated back to an older era and this was just a hodge podge of different things […] from older to modern. The pictures are very deceptive. We only stayed one night at the hotel. It is more a bed & breakfast than a real hotel with an old but friendly charme to it. The staff was very friendly and the location is very convenient (restaurants and cafes in walking distance). On Saturday nights you have to park the car on the other site of the street because the hotel parking lot is used by […] the church on Sunday mornings. Since the hotel didn't seem to be too busy this wasn't a problem and we easily found a place to park. The only thing we didn't like was the cleanliness. The surfaces of the bedroom were all dusty and there were lots of hairs in the bathroom (near the sink, on the back side of the door, and on the walls). We didn't try the breakfast because there was only limited space and already a few people eating. For one night it was okay for us but I wouldn't spend a full week there. We called knowing we might be late for check-in and they made accomodations for us to get a key. We didn't have time to eat breakfast there, wish we had. Older building, small rooms, but quaint and very clean. More like a bed and breakfast. Location is good and the Orange Blossom Cafe is right around the corner. Great place to stay!

Loved the hotel. It feels more like a bed and breakfast. The husband and wife who run it are really nice and their two children are adorable. The breakfast is unexciting but that is to be expected.

I had no idea when I booked this that it would be a really cute B&B style space. Stephanie & staff (family!) were very helpful and gracious and the closeness of everyone made it feel like you were staying with friends and family instead of being in a hotel. We will DEFINITELY book again next year for the boat show!

This was one of the nicest little hotels I've stayed at in a long time. Since the owners live on site they do their best to accomodate all of your needs. The owners speak German so that is a big benefit to those who are traveling from Europe. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Phil

This is a quaint little hotel in the middle of downtown St Petersburg, thereby offering full pedestrian access to all of the downtown exhibits, etc..

America's Best Inn is a small European style hotel in a peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of the waterfront. The proprietors are a friendly young couple with two children who live on site. The self-service continental breakfast in the lobby was adequate and provided a chance to meet other sociable guests. Very nice "old" hotel, reminds me of a bed & breakfast. Stayed here during the post-season series between Tampa and Texas. Accomodations were excellent and the owners were very inviting. This was the most aodrable little spot ever! I was completely satisfied. Felt more like a bed and breakfast than a chain hotel. Very charming. If you want all the modern amneities don't come expecting too much. I liked it most because it was unique. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is not worth the money. For just a few more dollars you can find bigger, cleaner, much nicer rooms much closer to the water and prime locations. The owners are very nosy and intrusive. You must move your car on Sunday mornings, or not park in their lot, or risk being towed. Rooms are very small, dusty, and loud, with only twin beds for a […] multiple bed option. This is a small hotel so the hosts /managers, Stephanie & Brian, really made us feel like family. The hotel was a conveniet walk to the St. Pete pier and the trolley for the baseball park. It was enjoyable to meet the other guests at the evening wine reception and the continental breakfast.

Our expectations were exceeded. The reviews we read were spot on. Brian and Steffi were lovely and welcoming! Beautiful city...and the Rays even won their game that night :)

Take an old battered two story hotel, made to sparkle by a young energetic couple who are always there, and you get a cross between an urban B&B and an old-fashioned no-frills hotel. You really feel at home. Perfect for the leisure traveler who does not need to be pampered. Very friendly.

Great place. The staff were super nice. The continental breakfast was good and great coffee. The happy hour at night was super cute too. These owner's really wanted you to feel at home!!

For the first time in years I scheduled a vacation for just my son and I. We decided to take a road trip to St. Pete to see the Rays baseball team. I bought the tickets on line and booked the reservation as well. America's Best Inn was listed on Hotels.com with excellent reviews going back to 2008 and the folks at this hotel did not disappoint. We were very pleased with the location of the Inn,walking distance to downtown,museums and the Pier. The Inn was comfortable ,very homey atmosphere. The continental breakfast was adequate.

We have stayed at America's Best Inn before. As in the past, we were not disappointed. The Inn has a bed & breakfast type atmosphere. The Hotel Managers Stephanie & Brian, who live on-site, are always friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely old hotel in St. Petersburg. We love quirky, not cookie-cutter hotels, and this certainly fit the bill. The rooms are small but adequate, and our hosts, Stephanie and Brian, were friendly and personable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Disappointed that the rate obtained through hotels.com was not that great a deal compared to the walk-in rate at the hotel. Good coffee but continental breakfast not very appetizing. Beer and wine at happy hour very pleasant.
