AMERICINN GRAND FORKS - Grand Forks

I was pleased. Nice and quiet even with obvious weekenders there to party and have fun. Nice breakfast. A pool. Great lounging area with TV and internet ( the first time I have ever used outside of my home).

This was my first stay at the hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. I typically prefer hotels with a 3-star rating or higher, therefore when I booked this I wasn't sure what to expect. All of the staff I encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The accommodations included a microwave and fridge which are nice additions and free WiFi. The […] complimentary hot breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but it was tasty, offered a good variety and beats the typical Continental Breakfast you find elsewhere. The location was convenient as it is located at an intersection which allows for easy travel running either North-South or East-West to most areas of the city. My room and the common areas appeared to be well maintained and clean. If I had to offer any criticism it would be that not all of the parking lot lights were lit which created some dark spots. Especially on the West side of the building and the parking spots located furthest away from the hotel. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. Lisez la suite

The king suite was comfortable except for the bed which has seen better days, The complementary breakfast which included scrambled eggs and sausage was enough to start the day. Fresh coffee, tea and fruit in the foyer was a nice touch. Our stay was nice. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues but nothing that affected our stay. We were happy with the room and the courtesy of all the staff. We have stayed here before and would again. It"s close to shopping and restaurants but far enough for a getaway spot.

I had stayed here many years ago, and wanted a hotel that is know for quiet - and they talk about the construction of their hotels making the rooms quiet. This place is quieter than most others in the price range, but the room left a little to be desired. I dropped my shoes on the carpet, and enough dust flew up to make me think they do not vacuum […] the carpets every time, or the vacuums are not doing their jobs. Dated, and the breakfast was mostly highly refined non-foods that I wouldn't eat. The omelets they had sitting there were so rubbery I couldn't cut it with the edge of a fork. At least they had hard boiled eggs, as that was all I could eat. Free coffee in the lobby 24/7 is nice if you're into coffee. The area seemed fairly nice, also. Great hot breakfast. Pool area is pleasant...good hot tub. Away from the hustle and bustle but less than 10 minutes to the Mall. We would definitely stay again.

I can't believe they took my pillow. I stayed 4 days and had a special pillow due to a fusion in my neck. I forgot it the day of check out, came back at 5:30 to retrieve it and they said it was never there. I have been displaced by a fire and only go between my work and the hotel during this time period. This is my fault for forgetting the pillow, I […] just would have expected more. They know who cleaned the room. I had a reservation for this week also but am now cancelling it after one day stay when the GM told me that I was harrasing is staff. I never got an answer over the last three days or a call from a manager until I called this morning demanding some answers. This hotel is neat and clean and provide a fairly nice breakfast, but what do you do when you don't feel like your personnal items are safe. I would expect the same quality and level of service the day I check out with the day or days I stay at there establishment. Lisez la suite

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. A hot brreakfast with eggs and sausage was good. The hotel was noisey. We could hear lots of foot traffic and talking in the halls till late at night then when the garbage was picked up from the dumpster at about 5 in the morning it woke us up. Excellent value for the cost. Nice breakfast, friendly, and helpful staff. Most importantly, very clean.

close to hosp. where we spent most of our time. great staff that was helpful. Good hot breakfest and fresk cookies in the eve. close to Dinning and shopping areas. I also didn't like the $5.00 booking fee, but will stay again.

The only bad thing about the stay was no gym. Other than that I will be staying there each time I go to grand forks

Excellent for the sale price we paid. Kids loved the pool and the breakfast in the morning was great.

We got a room with a hot tub. The room was huge and the hot tub worked well. The heater rattled a bit, but even tho it was -15 C outside, we didn't need to turn it on. The bathroom was a little small because the sink was on the outside, but it was functional and not too close to the bed (bathrooms next to a bed annoy me). The only thing I didn't like was the $5 I was charged for booking this room thru hotels.com

Stay was very enjoyable. Cleaning could have been better. Some food particles under the desk had not been vacuumed. Otherwise no problems.

We have stayed at this location twice and each time it has been very pleasing. We love Americinn.

Nice hotel. Comfortable, affordable. But fire alarm went off in middle of night and there was a fight during night as well. Woken up twice. management were unwilling to compensate for that.

The rooms are big, the TV and channel selection are excellent, the internet us free, the in-room jacuzzi is wonderful, the location is great for shopping, and you can smoke here if you want. You won't have a comfortable sleep but who cares!

Like the pool/hot tub. Rooms were ok but beds were really cheap/uncomfortable. I would suggest a major upgrade in beds before I stay there again.

The hotel was nothing special but was everything a person needs when travelling. Reasonable rate. Rooms clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice pool, large whirlpool and satisfactory breakfast in the morning.

We loved our stay. The rooms were so clean and comfortable, the main lobby was accomodating in every aspect, breakfast area well stocked and so beneficial to aid in starting off the day...we were so pleased with everything, we stayed on an extra night and the staff we so pleasant and helpful...I could go on but I think you get the idea as my first sentence […] says it all...we loved our stay. Nice competent staff. Clean and quiet hotel. Very close to UND campus, and surrounded by good restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again.

Front desk was very helpful and everything was very neat, orderly and clean from the office to the room. Room seamed to be very quiet and well insulated between rooms and bed was very comfortable. Great little breakfast bar for the morning!! Thanks AmericanInn!!

I was in town for a few nights for work and basically was only there to sleep. The rooms were nice, clean, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel met all my requirements and was reasonably priced.

This motel is close to UND and the Cloumbia Mall, so if you are headed to Grand Forks for those reasons it works well. The motel itself is starting to show it's age since many of the Americ Inns were build about 10 years ago in this area of the U.S. However, the place was clean and comfortable. Vi er godt fornøyd med oppholdet, satte god pris på det oppvarmede basenget, som vi fikk brukt flere ganger. Renholdet var meget bra på rommet, og de ansatte var imøtekommende og blide. Vi har brukt dette hotellet mange ganger tidligere, og vil fortsatt bruke det ved neste besøk i Grand Forks.
