Excellente impression, hôtel à recommander : accueil très bon, services et confort parfaits. A proximité de la ligne de bus et à moins de 10 minutes du métro. Chambres très propres.

Escapade pour visiter la ville et faire un peu de shopping. Idéal ! Cet hôtel est très bien situé au centre ville, à deux pas de la Gan Via et des grand centre commerciaux. Il n'y a pas de circulation devant, donc pas de nuisance. La rue est très calme quand on voit la frénésie sur la gran via... Même chose pour l'accessibilité par le métro, il y a plusieurs arrêts à proximité. On a beaucoup aimé et les restaurants que la réception nous a conseillé se sont avéré très bons ! Je le recommande

Hôtel très bien situé, central, accueil et personnel de réception sympathique, souriant, petit déjeuner copieux, chambre twin un peu petite mais confortable et très calme, salle de bain spacieuse. A recommander pour vos vacances !

trés correct dans l'ensemble j'ai évité le petit déjeuner trés cher comme signalé partout dans madrid d'ailleurs je comprends pas trop pourquoi sinon chambre design et salle de bain parfaite un petit bemol l'insonorisation coté couloir on entends les portes s'ouvrir et se fermer dommage car trs bon hotel uniquement restauration de dépannage
Situation

Les comédies musicales, hôtels, boutiques et restaurants font de Gran Via un axe débordant d'activités qui se termine à l'est par le dôme noir de l'édifice Metropolis. Le cœur de Madrid, la Puerta del Sol, est marqué par la statue de l'ours symbolique de Madrid et par l'enseigne de xérès Tio Pepe. Plus à l'ouest, l'imposante Plaza Mayor fut jadis le site des inquisitions et des exécutions, mais est désormais principalement fréquentées pour les terrasses de ses cafés.

a/ A eviter la chambre 619 : tres bruyante à cause des tuyaux dévacuation des gaz de la chaudière qui fonctionne de 04H15 du matin à 01H30 soit trois heures de silence pour dormir ....... b/ points positifs : personnel agréable , petit dejeuner copieux et situation.

"Parfait"
Hôtel parfait dans la plus pure des traditions hôtelières. Un charme un peu désuet mais totalement satisfaisant. Seul point d'ombre les environs... mais ce point est imputable à la ville de Madrid qui est de moins en moins propre, pas à l'hôtel. Excellent séjour à tous ceux qui réserveront leur chambre dans cet hôtel !!

Hôtel très bien situé en centre ville, il se trouve en 3 stations de métro, donc le choix. Il est situé dans une petite rue et l'hôtel est entouré de rues piétonnes donc cela n'est pas bruyant. Le personnel est très accueillant font un effort pour parler en Français. Enormément de commerces aux alentours. Ils prennent soin des clients, car mon fils […] a oublié son Doudou dans les draps et quelques minutes plus tard il a été retrouvé. Je recommande sans problème cet hôtel et y retournerai. Je voyage beaucoup (43 pays) et je n'ai jamais eu de si petite chambre individuelle : 3m x2,50m. Ce qu'ils appellent baignoire est un bac de douche haut : 50cm x80cm !!!! Sinon, la chambre est jolie et l'hôtel propre. Pour les petits déj' : attention = mieux vaut le prendre à la caféteria de l'hôtel : environ 9 euros, car au restau : environ 15 euros […] (mais plus de choix).... Hôtel très bien situé, proche des grands musées, et de la Plaza Mayor ;confortable et calme, j'avais une chambre qui donnait sur une cour ;quartier très animé à tous les points de vue ! ce n'est pas le quartier le plus luxueux de Madrid, rapport qualité prix : excellent

Correct mais sans plus. On est loin du standard 4 étoiles francais. Services tous payant et assez cher (internet, tv). Il nous a été difficile de joindre le room service. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais.

"Très bel hôtel bien situé à Madrid"
L'hôtel est très bien situé et possède un parking souterrain gardé. Le personnel est très aimable et compétent. Ma chambre était très confortable et très propre. Le restaurant de l'hôtel mérite d'être essayé. Si je repasse à Madrid, je retourne à l'hôtel Liabeny avec grand plaisir.

This was a comfortable room with excellent sound-proofing, and a very solid hotel, but we suffered continuous problems with the internet. First log-in problems meant that it kept returning us to the hotel home page. This necessitated going to the concierge who put us on the phone to the internet company. Great Location - Very Good Hotel - Rooms Very Clean - Fixtures in room a little old - very hot room, need air conditioning even though cold outside. Very Friendly staff but don't ask for recommended restaurants nearby because knowledge of good local restaurants very limited - A little noisy due to all night bars that are near by (weekend) - Taxis everywhere, […] be careful we were ripped off from Airport to Hotel even though we took the official taxi (white with red stripe). Driver took us the long way around and could not (did not) speak any English, so check before you enter the taxi cost of trip if to or from Airport. Overall a good stay in Madrid and the Hotel Liabeny is definitely recommended for a pleasant stay in a central location. Lisez la suite
"Quiet, friendly and walking distance to all sites"
Could not fault the quality and helpfulness of the hotel and staff. It has a luxury restaurant, however, if you do not want to pay for this sort of restaurant it has a cafeteria where you can have what you like for a few euros. We found this much better for us. As for location, it was perfect. On a square away from the main plaza, so quiet, but only […] a couple of minutes walking to sol square. Perfect location as I only had one day to see some sights in Madrid. Easy walking distance to the Palace and many plazas. Shopping and dining only a minutes walk from the hotel. The bathroom was very dated but clean, fast free wifi, quiet room.

"Liabeny, Madrid revisited"
Went there already for the second time, and it was again a pleasant stay. Location is great, rooms are very clean and well-equipped, service is friendly, although not many speak English. There was one thing to complain about: the water temperature in shower varied between extremes. Otherwise everything was functioning perfectly.

I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of April 2012. It has a perfect location. Besides, room was big and good, service and quality was also fine. Everything about hotel and service was very good except the pillows. There should be more pillow available (maybe there were but we didn't ask) to use because existing ones are very weak. A great hotel for visiting Madrid - it's very centrally located, making it easy to visit most sights by foot. The staff were helpful, the room is clean and the neighbourhood not too noisy. I'd happily recommend others to stay there.

This a large elegant older hotel in good location. The room was comfortable and the hotel staff was professional and helpful. The bathroom is outdated but functioned well.

However, I don't get the 4-star rating. Common areas are fine and the rooms are clean. Condition of room carpeting and furnishings leaves a lot to be desired. I would not stay here again despite the attractive price.

The hotel was lovely, very comfortable, and very clean and in a perfect location. It is within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. The only complaint I would have is the staff could be a little friendlier.

The location cannot be beat and the staff was excellent. Only problem was that the room was very warm even with the heat turned to off. (We stayed in late February 2012.) Therefore, I had to keep the window open and the street noise was very loud, particularly between 11pm - 2am and 6 am - 7 am. When the window was closed it greatly reduced but did […] not eliminate all noise. I don't think there is much that the hotel could do. We were delighted with our stay at the Liabeny. Not only was the location right in the centre of the Sol district, but the hotel was quiet and our room was a very good size - we travelled with our teenage son. Everything was clean and the double bed was a king size with a high quality mattress. Most of the interesting sights were within walking distance […] and the surrounding area was full of little streets with tapas bars. It really was a great place to be on our first visit to Madrid. My family of 3 stayed there for 3 nights and was very satisfied with the hotel. A real 4-star with very good services - they still unfold your bed every late afternoon! Very good location; within minutes you are close to the shopping areas and metro. Feel safe as vicinity has a Police Station with frequent police patrols, on foot, bike and small cars. Excellent hotel, friendly staff and everything you need is just around the corner, the cafeteria has really good food, and the rooms are big and clean, next time I'm in Madrid I'll stay there for sure!
