Les atouts de l'hotel: un emplacement parfait pour du tourisme, juste à côté de la gare Termini, chambre assez spacieuse et terrasse sur le toit de l'hotel. Les déceptions: le jaccuzzi n'est pas en service même quand il fait 27°C et est minuscule (2 pers maxi), le service bar à la terrasse est décevant (aucun choix et très cher pour ce que c'est). Pour Rome, bon rapport qualité prix même si pour un 4 étoiles, on pourrait attendre plus (c'est davantage un 3 étoiles)

Le séjour a été très agréable, pour des chambres modernes. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, et le personnel très serviable. L'hotel est bien situé à proximité du métro.

L'hotel est plutot bien place a cote de Termini et a proximite du metro A et B, donc access direct au Colisé ou au Vatican. L'hotel n'est pas de premiere jeunesse mais reste confortable. Les chambres ne sont pas tres grandes mais restent habitables. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas lors de notre passage car trop tot dans la saison. Niveau bruit ca reste acceptable, la rue n'est pas trop passante. Le petit dejeuner est de moyen, le cafe n'est pas tres italien mais ca reste acceptable. Pour le prix de la chambre, ca reste une bonne adresse.

Nous gardons une très bonne impression de ce séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillies. L'hotel est bien placé, pas très loin du centre ville et des transports en commun. Cadre très agréable.

Séjour avril 2012 avec bébé de 1,5 ans (suite avec 1 chambre). Chambre propre et confortable, design intéressant. Hôtel et quartier très calmes, chambres en retrait de la rue et jardin très agréable à l'ombre des arbres. Chambre assez sombre, qui nécessitait d'allumer la lumière même le jour, donc plutôt un hôtel pour un séjour estival. Wifi gratuit, mais connexion assez lente. Petit déjeuner très bon, même si l'on peut regretter le manque de plats chauds. Quelques améliorations possibles: le personnel ne nous a parlé que du métro, à 10-15min de marche, alors qu'il existe d'autres solutions notamment le bus 628 au coin de la rue qui dessert plusieurs points touristiques très intéressants. De manière générale le personnel offre peu d'informations touristiques. L'emplacement n'est pas le plus central, mais c'est le prix à payer pour le calme. Prévoir entre 1/2h et 1h de temps d'approche total pour le centre touristique. Attention cet hôtel est catégorisé comme appart hôtel mais nous l'avons trouvé plutôt mal adapté à cet usage: pas de four ou de micro-onde, très peu d'ustensiles de cuisine, meubles pas toujours pratiques, etc. C'est une cuisine d'appoint pour des clients qui mangeront la plupart de leurs repas en ville. C'est pourquoi nous ne le recommandons pas forcément pour des familles, même si les enfants seront très bien reçus et que le personnel est très sympathique, attentif et serviable. Globalement l'impression générale reste très positive et agréable.
Situation
À Rome, Hotel Quattro Fontane se trouve tout près des sites suivants : Palazzo Barberini, Fontaine de Trevi et Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. Les sites Marchés de Trajan et Escalier de la Trinité-des-Monts se trouvent également à proximité.

La fontaine de Trevi est la plus grande et la plus spectaculaire de Rome. Pleins d'extravagance baroque, ses dieux marins et ses jets d'eaux dominent une toute petite place. Elle fut immortalisée par La Dolce Vita, célèbre film de Fellini. Il est de coutume d'y jeter une pièce de monnaie pour être assuré de revenir à la ville éternelle. Les trois rues partant de la place mènent au centre historique et aux sites du Quirinal, l'une des sept collines d'origine.

"Price high, but below average quality"
Receptionists didn't even speak English (except one which was great) The safe in the room needed resetting - with some false pretext, they never came back to fix it The rooms were not nice - weirdly shaped, bad deco. Walls were too thin you could hear every single sound from the neighbors
"Good location"
I thought this hotel was a good choice; great location, nice/helpful staff, clean room and nice shower. I didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that. The only thing to be mindful of is that the standard room is compact - not that big a deal really, just something to expect if you book. I would stay again.

You can walk to metro, bus, and most of the historic center. On a cross-street between major traffic arteries Nazionale and Tritone, so although there is traffic noise at night, it is less here and with no busses. Across the street from Palazzo Barbarini, a major museum. You do have to walk steeply uphill, oddly, from whichever direction you approach […] from. We chose it so that we could do romantic walks at night from one illuminated fountain to the next and it is really perfect for that. Standard rooms bear no resemblance to the enormous suites shown in the photos on-line, so that is a bit misleading. Our room barely had enough space for the bed. But it was serviceable and well-tended with a nice bathroom. So if you want a room that is actually roomy and that looks like the pictures, choose an upgraded room at a higher price. We chose economy and were very happy to take a smaller room for a smaller price. I noticed some travellers were caught short by the 2 Euro per night per person city tax that must be paid in cash at checkout. You can not blame the hotel for this - it is city-wide. Breakfast was a very good value and I would recommend it, because it went well beyond coffee and a croissant with jam. There were frittatas, yogurt, fresh fruit, ham and cheese platters, varied rolls, pastries, juices, cereals and milk, a toasting station,etc. One weird thing was that you could not get TV in Italian. Apparently they have a satellite service that had CNN international in English and a couple of German channels only. So the statement "guests can channel-surf the cable television" is misleading. "Great location/great price"
The hotel Quattro Fontane in Rome is located between the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps, two blocks from the metro. Great access. The rooms were small, beds were comfortable. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

Registration was a bit hectic and not terribly friendly in resolving an issue with our booking (We had to pay ten euro at an internet cafe to call Hotels.com to call this hotel and get it figured out), but was extremely helpful with all other aspects. "Hotel 4 Fontane in Rome, Italy"
Perfect city center location. Literally a couple minutes away from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Excellent service, clean,convenient and affordable. We will go back there again.

"hit-or-miss service"
Fred, one of the attendants in the late shift, was fantastic. I arrived at around 1am, and he made sure I had everything I needed: internet, information of Rome, etc. He also gave good advise for restaurants around the hotel. Some other Italian in the day was a racist who obviously scorned against blacks and asians. I told him about the malfunctioning […] air conditioner in my room. He ignored me for about 15 minutes, small-talking with a colleague while giving me the "give me a minute" gesture. "Great place to stay"
Hotel is truly close to Trevi fountain, Piazza Navone & subway stop. Good walking location without being in the middle of tourists. Breakfast was great, room cleaning was scheduled for non-intrusive times so we were able to siesta and return to a clean room later. Bathroom was surprisingly large for a european hotel. "Quaint stay in Amalfi"
The hotel service was excellent and the seating on the terrace for breakfast was a real highlight, with a great view of the sharp cliff backdrop. If you have knee or hip problems, you may want to re-consider, as the stairways are steep up to the room and terrace. Otherwise, enjoy!

Great location in Rome. Hotel itself is pretty basic. We had a great room with a loft for the kids, it was perfect. Breakfast was just ok.

This was a good hotel for the price and location. We could walk EVERYWHERE, even to the train station with all our luggage. Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are within minutes of walking and lots of good restaurants too. Safe neighborhood! The room did NOT have comfortable beds and the walls were thin. However, even at expensive hotels in Europe the […] beds are not usually comfortable- don't know why. Worth it for the money, location, and helpful staff. Hotellet ligger fint til i forhold til mange av Roma's attraksjoner. Personalet er hyggelige og hjelpsomme, og frokosten er bra. Vi var fire som delte et rom, og fikk et stort og romslig rom. God deal for prisen vi betalte.

Lite hotell med sentral beliggenhet, svært enkel og liten frokostbuffet men med veldig god mat og kaffe samt hyggelig betjening. Rommene var veldig små men forholdsvis pene og ting var ikke noe særlig slitt. Litt skuffende at de ikke byttet sengetøy på 5 netter men alt i alt ganske bra. Hotellrummet var alldeles för varmt, gick inte att reglera termostaten. Sa till personalen detta vid upprepade tillfällen. De lovade att ordna detta men inget hände under våra 4 hotellnätter. Как и большинство отелей в Риме, он маленький, но с функцией только переночевать справляется отлично, но не более того. На завтрак лучше не ходить, а сходить в ресторанчики рядом. WiFi дорогой, но и того нет, я весь мозг съел администрации, но подключить мой ноутбук они так и не смогли. Брал курящий номер, а отель не курящий, зачем тогда галочка при […] выборе. Vi havde bestilt hotellet 6 uger før vores ankomst, man alligevel var der problemer ved check in. Hotellet var overbooket og de ville flytte os til et andet hotel som lå 2 km længere væk og altså 3-4 km fra centrum af Rom. Det blev til en større diskution og til sidst gav de op og gav os et lille baggårds rum. Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke udsøgt italiensk. Jeg […] vil aldrig vælge dette hotel igen. Det er en del af det som de kalder hotel trevi group så man kunne godt have dem mistænkt for at det er samme politik på alle hotellerne (4 stk i alt). Det er jo en måde at få flydt op overalt. Hotellet ligger i området Trevi, dvs. nær Trevifontænen og Den Spanske Trappe. Morgenbuffeten var tilfredsstillende, muligvis endda fin efter italienske forhold. Værelset på 3. sal var så højloftet, at man skulle op ad trappe for at komme op til dobbeltsengen, som var anbragt på et "hemsområde". Toilettet var således nedenunder. Der var airconditionsanlæg, […] men det kunne desværre kun sende varm luft uanset indstilling. Det var derfor bedst at slukke det. Hotellet ligger yderst centralt - nær bla Trevi fontænen og den spanske trappe - samt tæt på bus og metro. Enkelt hotel med tilfredsstillende standard. Små rom. Ikke alle fasiliteter listet i hotellbeskrivelsen er tilgjengelig, men vi er absolutt fornøyd. Korte avstander til alle severdigheter. Enkel frokost. Hyggelig betjening.
Godt hotel med udstrakt service og særdeles venligt personale. Belligenhed ved Quirinale/Barberini, i et fint område, tæt ved Trevi-fontænen og Den Spanske Trappe, og i en overkommelig gåafstand fra det historiske centrum. God morgenmadsbuffet. Kan anbefales.

Ordinärt hotel, med bra läge med närhet till de flesta kända sevärdheter i stan. Blev omlokalicerade första natten av tre, till ett sämre hotell med sämre läge pga överbokning. Hårtorken trasig, satelittv utan ljud och vatten på heltäckningsmattan nedanför fönstret från luftkonditioneringen drar ner helhetsintrycket.

Hotellet har en bra beliggenhet og bra standard, men en arrogant og lite serviceinnstilt resepsjonist trekker nedover (var mest opptatt av å snakke i mobiltelefon).

We waren met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (14 en 11) in dit hotel. We hadden een grote kamer geboekt met 2x lits-jumeaux maar in werkelijkheid waren het 2x 1- persoonsbed en een grote slaapbank. Deze sliepen echter ook prima. Het hotel is eenvoudig maar netjes. Het ontbijt was in buffetvorm en ook eenvoudig. De receptie was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. I think it is an elegant comfortable hotel especially senior customers. Great location near the station. There are some nice restaurants around there. I felt our staying room was so narrow. Moreover we reserved nonsmoke room, but that room smelled so smoky. A bathroom was fine.

Prima hotel, netjes en schoon. Voor het gezin twee gewone kamers met douche geboekt, maar kregen voor zelfde geld één gewone kamer en één kamer met grote badkamer met bad, bidet enz en een verdieping met de slaapruimte en beneden een zitje wat fijn was voor samenzijn met gezin. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed en […] vers (div. soorten (luxe) brood en drank, veel soorten beleg, fruit, ei enz.) Enige kritiek is dat één kamer een kapot kluisje had dat ze niet hebben opgelost. Locatie perfect. Als je van wandelen houd, zijn alle attracties te belopen en metro op paar honderd meter. Ihan OK hintansa väärti majoitus. Sijainti lähellä metroa ja nähtävyyksiä parasta, näkymä kaupungin ylle huoneestamme hyvä plussa. Huone pieni, aamiainen vaatimaton, netti vain lisähintaan, hissi ahdas, telkkarissa vin pari kanavaa jne mutta katto pään päälle upeassa Roomassa oli se mitä tarvitsin ja sain. Ei loistoa tai luksusta vaan peruskauraa. Ensikertalaisena […] hämmästyin kuinka kompakti paketti Rooma on. Nähtävyyksiä kiertelee mukavasti ilman metro- tai bussirumbaa. Tältä hotellilta Trevi ja Espanjalaiset portaat ihan mukavan kävelyn päästä, ja toisaalta jos tulee kauempaa niin metroasema on 3 minuutin päässä. "Bra beliggenhet"
Helt kurant hotell. Akkurat så mye som man kan forvente seg i forhold til prisen. Utrolig bra beliggenhe! Vi kunne gå til absolutt alle severdigheter (utenom vatikanet). Bra frokost, men dårlig kaffe (med tanke på hvor bra kaffe man kan få i Roma ellers).

Rent og pent, grei frokost med både frukt, egg youghurt og forskjellige brødsorter. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Rommet var bra, stort bad og hems med soveplass i tillegg til sovesofa i hoveddelen. Totalt plass til fire. I beskrivelsen står det at alle rom har balkong, dette stemmer ikke, kun noen få rom har det, vårt hadde det ikke, men det var […] ikke noe stort savn. Meget sental beliggenhet. I en omkrets på mindre enn 2 kilometer rakk vi alle severdigheter av betydning. Enkelt å nå alt til fots. Kort vei til restauranter og butikker. Museum tvers over gaten. Gaten utenfor er en hovedvei med en del trafikk morgen og kveld, men dette føltes ikke plagsomt, da vindu i soverommet var isolert mot lyd (bedre enn vinduet på badet). "Ok hotel med dårlig service!"
Værelserne har IKKE balkon, selvom det står i beskrivelsen. Ellers udmærkede værelser, men dårlig service i receptionen, sur og nedladende. Ingen undskyldninger over at hotellet havde overbooket og måtte henvise til et andet hotel den første nat.
