"Most Enjoyable Stay"
The hotel staff were very friendly and most courtous and helpful in every way, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. hotel is ideally located close to the train and bus station (5 mins walk) so great location if travelling within or further afield from Verona. Do recommend this hotel, and shall be happy to stay again as an ideal base camp.
The hotel served an excellent breakfast!! Nice and tidy close to the railwaystation - would definitely return!
"good location to buses"
small room but great location and good breakfast Staff was INCREDIBLY helpful in recommendations and questions about Verona
"Would recommend"
Excellent service. The reception staff ordered taxis for us, recommended places to see, made restaurant reservations for us - all done with a smile. Breakfast was very good - breakfast staff were lovely. Slight drawback was that the cleaning staff began cleaning far too early and woke us up every morning. I would mention this on check in and I'm sure […] it will be taken care of. 15 minute walk into town, or 5 minute bus ride. Lisez la suite
"Great loacation for the price"
It was a five minute walk from the train station! get a bus pass for the tourist attractions and you are set!
"Very friendly hotel"
Staff were very friendly and helpful - but the room was a little bit on the small side.
"Good Base to see Verona"
I stayed here for two nights on my own. The room was fine, a little small and cramped but was just using it as a place to sleep and was perfect for this. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the waitresses were wonderful. The desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the girls recommended the Verona card which was well worth the […] money as there is a lot to see in Verona and the card gets you in to most places for free as well as getting the bus for free. It is really convenient to the train station. One minor quibble is that at night time the area around the train station is a bit dodgy. You have to pass by that to get to the hotel. The area around the hotel itself is fine. I came home late both nights, had no problems but not sure someone on their own would feel comfortable. Overall, a nice hotel, good value for money but you might want to consider getting a taxi if you are coming back late. Lisez la suite
"Novo Rossi in Verona, Italy"
The service and everything was excellent.Excelent breakfast too and very convenient to train station
"Novo Rossi Hotel in Verona Italy"
Located near the station, a bus ride from the centre of Verona or a 10 Euro taxi Ride. A quiet area day and night. The room was large, clean, neatly and attractively furnished. The bathroom was compact but had all the desired features. The lift worked, parking was secure and free, continental breakfast was delicious and varied and served in a bright […] cheerful room and verandah. The reception staff were helpful and polite, but Valeria was an absolute delight. She went out of her way to ensure our stay was everything we could wish for, the best we met in 7 weeks of touring. The only downside to this hotel was the lack of places to dine nearby. The rather dirty local railway station was the only choice. This had a Mc Donalds and a take away counter. It would have been great if Novo Rossi could have offered simple meals in their breakfast room for those who are too tired to go out to town in the evening. Very good value choice for us. "Hotel in Verona"
Easy to drive to with good parking. Office staff very helpful and room facing the back of the hotel very peaceful. Good breakfast. 5 mins walk to station or bus to the city. A good city to walk around.
"Novo Hotel Rossi, Verona"
We found this to be a very friendly, helpful and well run hotel. It served us very well, being situated close to the bus and train station, our entry and exit points to and from Verona. The closeness of the bus station allowed us to make the most of the limited time we had to explore the city. It's not in a very picturesque part of town so perhaps […] would not suit someone staying a few days. For an overnight stop it was excellent. Lisez la suite
"Overpriced"
This is a classic commercial hotel near the train station. We thought it would be convenient, but it was a long walk to where a tourist wants to be in Verona, and the neighborhood was crummy. The room was small, basically the size of the bed with a 3 foot walkway around it. The "king bed" was twins pushed together, so there was a ridge down the middle. […] Cleanliness was good, but the place was completely sterile. Not much for the amount we paid. Adding a big fee for WIFI added insult to injury. Find something closer to downtown! Lisez la suite
"Good 3 Star Accommodation"
Easy 15-20 Mins stroll into Verona - Superbly positioned for Railway - and Airport Shuttle 5 mins stroll from Hotel. Compact but pleasant and functional room. Very good 3 Star Hotel - Pleasant and helpful staff.
"Convenient to train station"
Room was clean but small. Sound proofing wasn't so good. Could hear traffics on the street and activities in the bathroom next door in the early morning. Breakfast was good. The front desk was helpful. They even called my next hotel in Venice for me for transportation options.

We booked this hotel because we needed something close to the train station, which was a five minute walk away. Decent room, clean, small elevator which was a plus. Good selection for breakfast served in a sunny room. A good twenty minute walk to the city center but we didn't mind after all the good food we'd been eating. Neighborhood was a little scary […] but, nothing happened while we were walking home at night. Good hotel if you need to stay near the train. Lisez la suite
"Novo Hotel Rossi"
All the staff were outstanding. Every request was met by a smile and an answer. I am biased. They gave me a present for being a lovely guest!!! The hotel was spotless. The room could do with some updating including the soundproofing and the shower. The area was as expected by a station but we always felt safe. It was so easy to use the airport bus, […] we did. Everything was within walking distance so we walked. Good shoes are needed. I would recommend the hotel highly. We enjoyed our stay. Find Pam! the local supermarket for bits and pieces. Close to train station, but considerable walk to main part of town. Staff was friendly. Area around hotel questionable.

"good for the price"
close to train station nice hotel front office staff good for the price
"Pleasant Hotel"
The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about the town as soon as we checked in. The room was a good size by european standards and was very clean. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the train station, and very easy to find. Signs were posted right in front of the station with arrows to help direct you. There was also a lovely […] view of the alps from our window. I reccomend staying here if you are travelling by train. The center of the city is about a 15-20 minute walk. Lisez la suite
"GooD Clean Hotel"

"Only if you need an overnight stay..."
close to the central train station in Verona. The place has two great things: is very close to the train station and has a great breakfast that is included. On the other hand the room is very noisy (you hear all the noises inside and outside the hotel!) and cramped. The place is also very old (but clean and well mantained) and the shower is as small […] as in a cruise ship! Another problem is that you only have a Mc'Donalds to eat near the hotel. Again, only stay here if you need a place close to the station and for only one night! Lisez la suite
"Novo Hotel Rossi was the Best of 11"
We spent 3 weeks in Northern Italy on this trip and have rated this find in Verona as the best over all of the 11 hotels we stayed at (cities include Milano, Venezia, Bologna, Ravenna,Florence, Lucca, Siena and Roma). Novo Rossi belongs to a partnership of hotels called either NB Hotels or Fenice Hotels. They also had great signage from the train station […] leading to the physical hotel property. For our stay we were in room # 303. We look forward to checking out their other hotels within the offerings from hotels.com. Lisez la suite
The hotel is conveniently located beside the train station which was perfect for us. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the staff unfriendly especially at the reception desk.

"Novo Hotel Rossi - Walk to Train Station"
We chose this hotel because of it's location, 200 yards from the Train/Bus station in Verona. We wanted clean and generally up-to-date even though we were mostly concerned about location as we needed to leave the next morning early to Train it to Venice before returning to Verona in three days. We were very pleased with our room. It was small like most […] hotels in Italy were, but very clean, generally new and comfortable for our needs. We stayed up in the hills of Verona upon our return due to the location of the wedding I was there to shoot and the convenience to our friends home. I would recommend the Novo Hotel Rossi to anyone, especially if you need to be close to the station. It is too far from the center of town if it were your hotel for your entire visit to Verona as a tourist though; unless you are driving :) Lisez la suite

"Satisfactory Hotel"
We arrived late and left early the next morning, but the hotel met our needs for clean bed and bathroom and a good night's sleep.
"Not A Bad Place If You Want To Stay Close To The Train Station"
You could walk to Arena de Verona from here. I did so during the day once (round trip) then, on the way back from Arena after seeing Tosca as the bus was no longer in service. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was pretty nice.
"Clean budget choice for Verona"
PROS: rooms relatively very modern (bathroom particularly) and clean (sheets clean, bed comfy with no mangy dingy duvets) for a 3-star rated hotel in an older European city. reception is friendly though not the most helpful in terms of arranging day trips to Lake Garda or Venice or even opera tickets (which is esp. inconvenient since everyone seems […] to be in Verona only for opera anyway). easy to find, clear signs from the train/bus station, from which it is a 5 minute walk, so if you are busing from anywhere in Verona almost all the buses end at the stazione, v convenient. CONS: neighborhood is deserted during the day and sketchy at night - the walk to the main road is sort of on a dark residential alley with giant dumpsters lining the street. to be fair, a cab from the Arena back to the hotel if you're nervous about safety is only 5-6 euro if you can manage to hail one after opera. room price was ok for Verona in opera season I guess (you can't stay closer to the Arena if you don't want to pay a lot more) but definitely not a steal, i thought a truly fair price would have been 20-30% less than what i actually paid. internet station in the lobby is one computer, insanely expensive for time, and after i had already paid i realized that it is purely internet with no ability to run any programs like Microsoft word so you can't download or view any documents from your email (which was the only reason i needed internet anyway), and according to reception there isn't any cheaper or more functional internet anywhere closer than the main piazza bra, a solid 20 minute walk from the hotel (a statement i failed to disprove). "great location for train-travellers"
Perfectly clean, wonderfully QUIET hotel, only 5 minutes' walk from Verona train station. Proximity to the station goes hand in hand with its being too far from the historic centre for many people to face the walk; however, the USP of this hotel is that it lends guests basic bicycles free of charge on request (select one with good brakes and working […] dynamo lights - air line available in the garage for inflating tyres if necessary) which we used to cover a lot of ground during our stay - this meant we could quickly return to the sanctuary of the hotel for a shower and a siesta during the heat of the afternoon. The less active may prefer a more central location, as the final part of the long walk back from town would be a little tiring if returning late at night, with several large highways to cross. Rooms at the rear have a pleasant outlook onto pine trees in the grounds of the church next door. Ground floor rooms available. Good cold buffet breafast with standard fare. Helpful reception staff. Overall, highly recommended and good value. Lisez la suite
"Disappointed"
Can't say it was a big difference from reviews. Verona hotels are expensive. But we had 2 rooms for 2 nights and were treated with minimal consideration. Florence and Venice hotels were cheaper and 5x nicer. Internet cost is ridiculous. Location is bad. Only reason to go to Verona is for opera. Better off driving home late at night after opera to somewhere […] else. Of the few mistakes we made on a 2 week trip, Verona (and hotel) ranked as 2nd worst. Lisez la suite
"Would return for short stay"
Hotel was generally good; very clean and tidy with nice breakfast. Location is ok if you're planning to travel by train and are happy to walk 10-15 minutes into the centre of Verona, but can be a bit unnerving when walking back at night. Only complaint was that the cooling system was broken in our room, with the room being very hot as a result, and […] it taking 3 days before we were moved. The room we were moved to was fine. "Very nice!"
Staff was very nice. Location is right by train station, therefore very convenient if you have other destinations. Downtown is a few miles away, which was nice to bike (hotel let me borrow a bicycle and lock, free, each day I was there). I loved the breakfasts too!
"Excellent value for the area"
Completely satisfied. 5 min. walk to the train station. Hotel had complementary bikes which is a plus to tour the town. Very cordial and helpful staff. Lovely room. Great breakfast. Not to much downsize.
