The staff was very friendly, there are a few fast food destinations as well as a gas station and mini mart very close by. The hotel is very clean, accommodating and relaxing. I also liked that they offered free crib usage for my youngest.

definitely would recommend this hotel to friends. The only downfall was the pool is rather small and the hot tub was broke. The service, staff, breakfast and room were all excellent.

Stayed here during some home construction. Not bad. Rooms could use some updated but are good in size, beds are comfortable, typical "hotel pillows" that go flat in 3 minutes. Staff very polite. Good breakfast

The hotel had a weird noise in the middle of the night that actually caused the bed to vibrate a little. I don't know if it was the laundry machines or what it was.

Heating unit fan was very noisy; bathroom was not well serviced between first and second nights of our stay. Wireless service in some rooms is weak.

Super clean and comfy rooms. Friendly and hospitable staff. Great breakfast. Bed and pillows were the MOST comfortable I have ever slept upon. Hotel and grounds were really clean and well maintained. Great location.

This room was pleasant alternative to the Lexington Hotel across the street for half the price, with more accommodations. The rooms have small kitchenettes or a mirowave and frig. The beds are very comfortable with a pillowtop mattress. The hotel is clean and quiet. I stayed here for one night while on business in the Lansing area and it worked out just fine. Very close to the interstate and 5-10 minutes away from a slew of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast at the hotel was outstanding.

This was an older hotel with one elevator that I could see. There was a small pool and spa. Breakfast was good. Stayed one night going through town. We had a 2 bedroom suite with king beds, fold out couch and kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave and sink.

We had a great time during our stay, the staff was great and even allowed my kids to eat breakfast early because they were still awake at 5:30 am.

The hot tub was maybe 97 degrees as opposed to the pool which was a balmy 100+ degrees. We stayed here on New Years Eve 2011 and the hot tub was so ungodly hot that you couldnt stay in it very long and the pool was cold. I think some maintenance and upgrading needs to be done.

I've always loved Country Inn, and this one was just as wonderful. The hotel room was comfortable, clean, and cozy. And the service was very nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast too. Although I have to say, during a down pour of snow, the Direct TV stopped working for a while, but it wasn't so bad. I just wish they had the Starz channel.

This was our first experience with Country Inn by Carlson Langsing. The hotel is reasonably clean. But the bath room wasn't as clean as I expected. Further more there were no hot water. I didn't call the front desk because we check in late. They served breakfast with loosely fried eggs and very salty country friend potato. Coffee was cold. This hotel is a good value for the money. It is clean, conveniently located and reasonably priced. It is minutes from the capitol and adjacent to the major highways. The front desk person was efficient and helpful. I have stayed there several times and will stay there again next time I have to travel to Lansing.

Unfortuantly the hot tub jets did not work. We stayed two nights, but did not receive maid service after the first day. I tried to tell the clerk all this information when I checked out, but she was on a personal call and did not have time to wait.

Stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago, and when returning to the area decided to stay again because the hotel was excellent then, wel it sure hasn't lost any of it's appeal. overall the hotel was ok. the room was alittle smoky and loud. the property ac unit or generator was located on the roof over my room. it was really loud and hard to relax. i called the front desk to complain and they said there were nothing they could do because they were 100% booked. i felt there was something they could have down to accomodate me […] since the noise was unbearable. i was not well rested for my meeting the next day. the room was clean and the breakast was fine. This hotel is very friendly, comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy but very pleasant. Good continental breakfast. We did not use the gym or pool. Our room was right next to the pool so there was some noise from the pool but it got quiet by 11 pm. We got a good night's sleep. I would recommend it to anyone.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the sight of the lovely room and beds was very welcoming. The breakfast was very good, bacon, and waffles toast juices and cakes etc. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Very convenient location - easy on/off to 496 in Lansing, MI. Room was clean, beds comfortable as well as pillows. Bathroom was bright, clean and roomy. Shower had the bowed shower curtain which is always nice. Hotel was very quiet. Buffet breakfast was ample and good. Love the "individual" sized coffee maker.
