"Our stay at Al Andalus Palace"
The hotel is located some distance from Seville center. There is a convenient public bus service which we used to the senter of town. The hotel is located by the fotball stadion, in a quiet suburb with no restaurants close by. In the hotel there is a buffet dinner restaurant which is ok and a restaurant which is better but not open Sunday and Monday. […] Breakfast is good. The hotel is some 20 years old but the room is ok. "Great value"
Beautiful hotel. Slightly out of the way, but worth the extra travel for the price. Taxi's are readily avaiable and it costs about 6 Euro to go to el centro. Sevici bikes are available to rent nearby for 11 Euro per week.
"good location"
The hotel offers easy accrss to ALL roads; veru good location to use it as a base to visit Seville and near towns. Ideal for someone with small car it can do the sightseeing in Seville and also Jerez, Cadiz, Huelva within 50 minutes, Cordobs 65 minutes. Ideal for tourism.
"Nice hotel, extremely hard beds"
I hated the beds, my wife loved them. Other than that, this hotel is nice, clean and modern. Wifi was iffy at times and it is a bit far from the sites of Seville, but other than that I have no complaints. The staff was professional and friendly and the facilities themselves are 4 star.
"Late check-out!!!"
The hotel is very nice and I have stayed there many times over the past three years. The last two times, i booked a room that included late checkout at 3pm. The first time, they came knocking on the door at 1220pm and the 2nd time I had late check-out, and I even confirmed with the front desk that I did not want to be disturbed, they still called at […] 1230pm asking what time I would be checking out. I don't think they understand the concept of late check-out. Lisez la suite
"A good choice to stay"
Hotel is very close to Paseo de la Palmera (a well known avenue) and 5 km away from the cith center. Rooms are very large and comfortable. There is a bidet in the bathroom. Staff is very helpful. Parking is not an issue because there is always a parking space on the street. Environment is safe. Try spa on the 7th floor. Downsides: rooms and bathrooms […] are furnished in an old fashion. If your room is located on the corridor between towers, you may be disturbed by the noise coming from the people having chat in the lobby. Another thing, if you try to find the hotel by your GPS, TomTom has the wrong address! Try the street name "calle parana". Lisez la suite

"Lovely hotel - would stay again"
Me and my boyfriend just come back from week staying at Al Andalus, we both thought hotel was very good, room cleaned every day, towels and bedding changed every day, pool area lovely (perfect for sun worshipers like myself) only downside i would say is that snacks not available at pool bar (only ice creams). Hotel was a 35-40 min walk to centre, but […] it did say that, so wasnt a nasty surprise. Staff were helpful too. would stay again, as thought very good for price we paid. Lisez la suite
We stayed for 2 nights and had mixed feelings about the hotel. It markets itself as a 4 star hotel and while it definitely had some fine points, it also had some aspects more akin to a 2 star hotel. First the positives: 1) Well staffed, friendly, helpful reception; 2)Lovely swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers; 3) Close-by frequent bus service into […] the centre of Seville takes about 10 mins (taxi only costs about 7euro though); 4) Right beside Real Betis football ground if interested - well I view it as a positive but my girlfriend was non-committal Next the negatives: 1)Some of the decor is quite shoddy - carpets in the halls are very bare and need replacing and some walls could do with a coat of paint; Also some of the floors and stairs are finished with marble but others are cast iron ( even alternating flights of stairs) leading to an unfinished look 2) Our non-smoking room had a definite smell of stale smoke; 3) The window in the toilet was of clear, not frosted, glass (right behind the cistern) and as there was a fire escape directly outside this window, it could have led to some very interesting views for the other guests ...; 4) the fitness suite consists of only 4 pieces of cardio equipment, one of which I was asked to refrain from using by the salon manager as it was too loud! "A Good Central Location for Seeing the City"
A bit hard to find on GPS, but worth the effort. Well located for seeing the Park (Pavillions of the '29 Exhibition) and catching the circle tours of the City. Although large (over 600 rooms) and frequented by tours and soccer teams, the staff is efficient and handles the crowds well. A number of good restaurants nearby and the hotel breakfasts are […] spectacular. The swimming pool is very large and the staff is accomodating. It was good value for the $ andf I Iwould highly recommend it. Lisez la suite
"good quality/price"
Pros: Big hotel resort, clean and tidy. The swimming pool area is very nice. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nice with lot of choice. Spacious lounge area with couches to relax. Good location: 10min bus trip to the city center, with buses coming every 10-15min. Cons: The room had only a tiny window with view […] over a roof. It was a bit noisy as there was a conference meeting dowstairs. The swimming pool bar is very expensive for basic service and drinks. Lisez la suite

Everything was great value for the money -- except for the location, which is not within walking distance of the center of the city. It's about a 10-15 minute bus ride into town, but one has to find the stops! There are no stores/conveniences in the immediate vicinity. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful.
"Great place to relax"
The hotel is enormous and has big rooms where you can relax and read a book or a magazine. The pool area is big and offers shade on the grass if the sun gets too strong. Rooms were great and the staff were very firendly and helpful. Recommend staying here anytime!
"Very good hotel"
The hotel is very good. The rooms are very good as is the swimming pool. The staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was very good. There were many restaurants to choose from in Seville so we did not use the hotel restaurants. The main pool was maily deep and not really good for non swimmers. The surrounds were very good. Although we came by car […] we ended up going into the city by taxi as it was far too far to walk in during the heat of the day. This was around seven Euros each way. Seville itself is magnificent and some of the restaurants are superb- The Corral del Aqua restaurant in Santa Cruz part of the city was brilliant. The charm and grace of the place was ozzing with old Spain. A real treasure and worth the visit. Lisez la suite
"Large rambling hotel"
This hotel is located quite a distance from the centre of Seville. We had some difficulty finding the hotel as little direction is given on the website. The room was excellent although quite a walk from the elevator on the VIP/ Executive floor. Restaurants had limited choice for food and not good value. Taxi rank outside hotel resulted in excellent […] transport facilities. Taxi rates to the Centre are very reasonable. Lisez la suite
"Very nice place, excellent pool"
The hotel was very nice and the pool was huge, for a hotel anyway. It would be nice if it opened earlier and stayed open longer (had to get out at 9:00 pm). You can catch the #34 bus near the hotel to get to the heart of downtown, or you can run or walk the roughly 1.5 miles. I'd consider staying there again if we ever visit Sevilla again, but I'd probably […] stay closer to the core of downtown. Lisez la suite
This hotel was ideal for my stay in Seville, as it allowed me to visit familiar sites. Very accessible by bus, taxi. Hotel staff very helfpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. Great hotel at great price.
"Silken Al Andalus Palace Hotel"
Easy access from the airport though costly for the short run, about 15mins 11k the hotel itself was very open airy and spacious, as can be said for the rooms, but it did seem to be more of a businessman’s hotel rather than a holiday one. The pool and surrounding area were immaculate, and a pleasure to visit each day, again though drinks at the pool […] bar were extremely high compared to small bars in the area on average 100% more. buffet breakfast again was expensive compared to what you could get outside, but, and its a BIG but, was fantastic with every taste catered for including the British breakfast, although im not sure of chorizo sausage are meant for breakfast, fruit meats cheeses outstanding. the surrounding area, which is out of the hotel groups control was in disrepair and dirty with rubbish and junk everywhere. Across the main road and into a side street brings you to a few local bars and the bus stop (37) which takes you into the Prado area of town, easy access to all parts of town from here as long as you like walks, or a short tram ride gets you to the cathedral, if your prepared to be adventurous and walk to town you find more and more little tapas bars and shops to visit, remember though, Seville is a very hot place, during my visit in July the lowest temp was 44 degrees the hotel boasts internet cafe connections this service was in the vast lounge area, but in the 48 hrs I was there this did not work, so travelling light and not taking my laptop meant no connection. Seville is very Spanish (crazy I know to say) and with limited language skills it is hard to communicate what you want, so be prepared, Tips use public transport where possible as the taxi drivers seem to charge what they want the tourist information centre is a must and can be found on the corner of the town hall Lisez la suite

"SEVILLE 21 JUNE"
WE have travelled over many years and are a mature couple Al-Andaluz would be one of the best hotels with an unsurpassed breakfast array Our room # 5120 on the top floor had a wide window and a bed size of 2m x 1.8m A great swimming pool to enjoy as the sun sinks in the west The #34 Bus is only 100m away and costs 1Euro 30c into Centro Where it drops […] you off is the same place for the return trip The Cathedral is the 3rd largest after the Vatican and Saint Pauls/London.....get there EARLY as the crowds soon build and the midday heat is strong On you way back to San Sabastian Plaza for your bus there are plenty of places to eat along the wide Carratera leading to it For those driving,,,, take EXIT #8 and you only have short drive 1.5km along Av Palmera to Al-Andaluz on your left Lisez la suite
"Luxury hotel but distance from amenities"
Excellent pool area and hotel accommodation. Lacked local nearby amenities making it necessary to eat at hotel at a price. It cost about 8 euros to taxi into town.
"Pretty far from the center, but can save you money"
This hotel is pretty far out of the center of Seville, but if you're willing to take the city bus (they're clean and safe) it can be a good option. If you can't take the bus or rent a car, the cost of cabs probably means that you'd be better off paying more to stay in the city center. The service is excellent and the buffet dinners and breakfasts offer […] good value. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, and the pool is nice and can be a good option on a hot day. The building is huge, and it seems like they have a lot of rooms, so given the far-away location you should make sure you're not paying the same amount you would for a 4-star in the city center. The building is also just a BIT shabby around the edges, but it's barely noticeable. Bottom line: recommended if you can handle the location. Lisez la suite
"Out of the way, a little run down"
The hotel is far from the main sights and requires a 15-20 min bus ride to the Cathedral area. After you get off the bus, you still have to walk 10 minutes to the sites. The hotel is slightly worn down which is disguised in the photos. The room was smaller and cramped than it appeared on the website. Also, the walls of the hotel have dark streaks that […] need power-washed, and our window was dirty. Service is slightly snippy, and there was always a long line at the front desk. The pool people began cleaning up furniture 20 minutes before the pool closing time, which is a surprisingly early hour (8pm). No good stores or restaurants nearby, everything is a 10 min or more walk away (and that's to Burger King), and it's in a residential neighborhood. Would not recommend it. Lisez la suite
This is a great place to stay if you enjoy relaxing by the pool and want some relaxation away from the city as well as being close enough to take in all the sights.
A bit of a walk away from the main sights, but its possible to get a local bus to town. The bus stop is just a short walk away. The lovely pool was very welcome after sightseeing on those very hot days. With free towels at the poolside and a bar with drinks and snacks available it was a great way to end the day. Only down side was that food and drinks […] were a bit on the expensive side, 14 euros for a continental breakfast. But I enjoyed my stay there very much. Lisez la suite
"Muy Grande."
Room was great. Partied all night long until the guy next door came over and said please be very very quiet. Lol. Guess the walls were thin. We left the room and was only a 7 min taxi ride to the club district. Great stay.
"Hotel Silken Al Andalus Seville"
The hotel and it's facilities were excellent. We only ate in the buffet restaurant in the evening and the food was of great quality and reasonably priced. Restaurant staff were courteous and polite. Although the pool was cold children seemed to enjoy it along with some of the more hardier adults. It was clean and very well looked after as was the vicinity […] around the pool. The reception area was fantastic and it was a pleasure to enter the hotel whenever we came back after our time out in Seville centre. All reception staff were really pleasant and very helpful and spoke English good enough to be understood. The maid service was also of a very high standard. We used the bus service every day which at 1.30 euros each was pretty good. A cab to the centre costs around 8 Euros. The only thing I think that would have made our stay a bit more comfortable would have been to have coffee making facilities in the room. Incidently, we also sampled room service one morning and the breakfast (Silken choice) was excellent. We will definitely be staying there again. Lisez la suite

"Terrible hotel--terrible location!"
We stayed here as a "treat" on our last night in Sevilla, but it was awful. The hotel was too far from the center of town and it was loud and impersonal. I did not sleep all night because of drunken guests at the hotel roaming the halls after their convention. For a 5 star hotel, this was a huge disappoinment!
"Modern comfortable hotel at reasonable price"
The hotel and staff are excellent, the breakfast superb, but the evening meal menu a little short of variety and pricey, the bar is also pricey but most hotels are, recommend eating and drinking out to get the best value.

"Hotel Silken Al Andalus in Sevilla - Good value"
The hotel is about 10min by bus to the historical centre of Seville. Buses come regularly. This large hotel has all the facilities that a business or private traveller would require. Good spacious rooms and bathrooms, helpful reception and concierge service. Staff speaks good English. Good breakfast buffet. Overall good value for money.
"al andalus palace"
beautiful hotel, bit out of the centre of seville but buses are frequent from around the corner and taxis also readily available outside hotel too, few little tavernas round about hotel but you really need to venture into city centre to get anythin more. city is gorgeous and the catherdral is a must see! also we done the horse and carraige tour at night […] which was really nice>also took the site seeing tour by busthis enabled us to see the whole city and found it easier to get about after doing it! the city is a huge place though you certainly need a few days to get round it, but well worth the visit as its a gorgeous place . you do get lots of tourists but with it not being a holiday resort it is very spanish and my only regret is i nrver learned a few more little words, it would have made things a lot easier since not much english spoken!! "The hotel Al Andalus ~ Seville"
this hotel lived up to all expectations & more, very good value for money. it was a litle way outside the city but taxi was 5 - 10 euros on average to the main sights, it can be walked but way too hot to do so, an air conditioned taxi is very welcome. the food in the hotel was good although we didnt have the buffet breakfast as we didnt think it was […] good value for money. all the staff were very helpful & friendly and the concierge had plenty of information & tips on where to go & what to see. the only thing we believe it lacked was a small shop just selling snacks or just water. overall a great hotel which we would have no hesitation recommended to our friends Lisez la suite

"A nice hotel right outside Sevilla tourist area"
A friendly staff greets you as soon as you drive up to this hotel. The concierge desk is located outside to immediately be there to help out. After entering the building, a grand central area is thrust upon you with various decorations and art-work. You can tell immediately that the hotel provides a comfortable atmosphere. The room itself is pretty […] standard, but they are definitely clean and comfortable. We had an excellent view overlooking the gorgeous pool and outdoor bar. For parking, we were able to find a spot along the street, right in front of the hotel for free. However, they do offer a parking garage as well for 12 Euros/Day One thing people will notice is that the hotel itself is not located in the central portion of Sevilla, which is where you'll probably spend most of your time. It is a good 45 minute walk to this area, or a 5 minute bus ride at a cost of 1.20 euros a person for a one-way fare. Cabs do sit right outside for most of the day waiting for fares. A one-way fare into the center of town should cost about 5 Euros, but make sure to negotiate this before you get into the cab. As long as you don't mind the walk or taking the bus or cab though, I believe this is an excellent hotel for anyone looking to stay in Sevilla. Lisez la suite

"Wonderful hotel!!!"
It was really a nice hotel, grande and very friendly staff. The water in outdoor swimming pool could be very cold, unless it's mid summer, don't go in there. On the check in, there was a small overbook problem I guess, so the two twin-bed rooms I booked had become two double bed rooms, which was slightly inconvenient for my friends and I. In total, […] it is really nice for very reasonable price Lisez la suite
"Nice Hotel in Bad Location"
Near University. We had a view of the stadium and there was a game that night, so it was very noisy. There was absolutely nowhere to eat near the hotel, so we walked and walked and walked until we found a small Doner stand. Very inconvenient.
