Very convenient location for a night out in Charlotte. Clean, safe, and comfortable. Easy walk to any bar, restaurant, or downtown location.

I ususally stay at higher end hotels when trtaveling for business but this one was across the street from my meetings so I chose it over the Westin and other options. Staff was amazing, rooms clean and comfortable, Location can not be beat.

The staff was most helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, the location ideal. Thank you for a memorable stay.

very nice lobby with a small but excellent cafe for breakfast and even a drink and snack in the evening. very pleasant staff, rooms clean and comfortable. For the price very nice

Stayed here for one night. The hotel was in good condition and in walking distance to many bars. Other people may be looking for more in a hotel but it was great for our purposes.

This hotel was excellent, went on my birthday and relaxed and enjoyed the myself. I would recommend this hotel anyday great staff

Nice hotel, good amenities during the week such as free national newspapers and coffee and tea on tap in the lobby. None of that is available on the weekends. Rooms are cleaned late on weekends. Very nice town car to take you to the airport (for a fee). Friendly helpful staff.

We recently went to the Auto Show at the Convention center and this hotel is PERFECT for all downtown attractions. I even tasted my first Ruth Chris steak while staying here. Clean, friendly, easy access to all Charlotte hot spots. This is a YES hotel in my book!!

The hotel was fine, but VERY pricey for what you got--no breakfast, no fridge in room. You pay for a big downtown hotel, but it is still just a Courtyard--simply prized 2x the normal.

The condition of the hotel was fine, but trying to get to the garage was crazy. Because all the streets around the hotel and the convention center told you not to turn LEFT. We had to turn left to get to the garage and to go in the direction of the convention center.

The room was standard, but it was clean. It's in walking distance to the movie theater and tons of restaurants. I ended up having a two day layover in Charlotte because of Hurricane Irene and it was perfect for an unexpected or business stay, but I wouldn't stay there for vacation. The pool is extremely small.

Great location! Close to Discovery Place, The Epi-Center, Panther Stadium, etc... The kids had a great time swimming in the rooftop pool.

This hotel was in a great location--walking distance to Nascar Hall of Fame, movie theater, restaurants, etc. The first room we had smelled like smoke but they immediately switched us to a different room that was great--and did not make us come down to get keys but instead brought them up to us. The maid service was a little strange as they came around […] at about 5pm but we were going out to dinner so they had our room clean by the time we got back. The hotel is great and we woudl definitely stay here again. Parking ramp was also cheaper than other hotels in the area. No breakfast included but they have a great snack bar with items to buy. Me and my Girl friend had a great stay at the Marriot Charlotte City center the staff was very friendly and the rooms where really clean, the only thing i see they could do different is have the option of room service for breakfast time, I called the front desk to see if hotel provided room service and they said they did not.

I wanted to stay in the downtown area because of all the NASCAR events happening during the May race week. The hotel needed to be convenient to the events, comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, and have friendly staff. I got all of the above and more. The staff quickly navigated me by phone, due to many closed streets, and got me there quickly and […] safely. Parking was very convenient and for a smaller fee than most hotels. The Speed Streets festival was right outside the door. The staff was wonderul and extemely helpful, one of the cleaning staff members even asked as I passed her in the hall if my room was okay and if I had everything I needed! My husband and I enjoyed our trip. We were in the heart of the downtown area, so we were in walking distance to many attractions. Personally we wanted to be close to the Epicenter and we were. However, there were some bonus attractions that we enjoyed along the way. Many places to dine no matter what your taste buds enjoy.

We were in town for a visit to the Charlotte Law school and as a bonus, had front row seats to the St. Patrick's Day parade at the front door to our hotel. Great location in a very friendly downtown area. Nice room with king size bed and sofa with double size pull out. Staff was very friendly and afforded us a late check out due to parking issues with […] the parade. Parking is added to the bill; be sure and ask HOW to get out of the garage. We were backed up several times because the exit is so confusing. Other than that, the price was right and we'll definitely be back! Lisez la suite

Hey we just needed a place to crash after the pub crawl, so this was acceptable. Frankly I expected something a little more comfortable and accomodating: there were two of us staying there, but only coffee for one in the room. No refrigerator, no continental breakfast, no real "extras." It was bare bones. It did the trick but for the price I expect […] a little more... oh yeah and don't buy a beer at the front desk unless you have five bucks to throw away! Lisez la suite

Don't miss the pool! Our room was spacious and clean, with the latest tv and decor. The lobby is nothing special, but again very clean and roomy. We were able to check in early. The hotel is located in uptown, close to so many attractions and great restaurants (Merts and Mimosa Grill). Our son slept on the sleeper/sofa and it was not comfortable at […] all. They never are! We typically visit the Charlotte area in order to see a race so we usually stay in a hotel near the track. When we visit for the Coca Cola 600, we always stay in this hotel. It is located right in the middle of Speed Street... so convenient! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and spotless.

The hotel is a little pricey, but the location is perfect to walk the clean, gorgeous city of Charlotte. The hotel staff were very helpful and very kind. Upon check out, the clerk increased our parking time so we were able to grab lunch before we left. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the room was very clean, and the location was excellent. Even on a holiday weekend, the prices were reasonable, and for being uptown, it wasn't terrible to get to the hotel even with traffic.
