Que du bonheur de résider dans cet hôtel qui surplombe la plage de Laguna Beach. Chambre propre et lit très comfortable. La vue est fabuleuse. A ne pas manquer: le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse privée face à l'océan.

Nous avons apprécié cet hôtel, bord de mer, tout proche du "centre" de Laguna beach. Belle vue sur l'océan, jolie terrasse et piscine. L'insonorisation entre les chambres est un peu légère, nous avons pu suivre la longue scène de ménage des voisins! Le personnel est très attentionné, nous avons ainsi pu profiter de la piscine et du parking toute la […] journée de notre départ. Par contre il n'était pas mentionné sur le site que les frais de parking s'élèvent à 25$ par jour et le Ressort Fee à 20$, plus les taxes ce qui nous a augmenté la facture de 95$ pour 2 jours, ça fait bcp! Le petit déjeuner était inclus mais il fallait choisir la veille ce qu'on prévoyait de manger et préciser l'heure. Comme il n'y a pas de salle à manger, nous avons été servies dans la chambre, ce qui n'est pas très commode. Le petit déj peut aussi être pris à la terrasse pour autant que la météo le permette. PROS: Amazing oceanside view if you're willing to pay the extra money, literally sits right on the shore, walking distance to Laguna Beach downtown where there would otherwise be no parking on a weekend... Free wine and cookies in the evening, free breakfast delivered to your room, and a room discount for return customers. CONS: Pool and hot tub are […] being remodeled so are not available, room smelled like paint (also recently remodeled?) Front desk staff weren't terrible but weren't the best (although the manager was overly friendly and very helpful). Rooms are small for the price and aren't ready for check-in until 4 pm. OVERALL: It's worth it for special occasions and/or if you can get a discount for ocean-view. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room we stayed in was fantastic! We went to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore. The room was smartly decorated and the bed was luxurient. My only complaint is that I had paid for everything in advance and was upset to discover that there was a $25.00 parking fee and a $20.00 resort […] fee. The setting is really perfect for walking around and being on the ocean, with the nature preserve right there in front of the hotel. It was quiet, comfortable and the service was truly friendly and exceptional. I accepted it and warned my husband. When we returned from dinner, our beds had been turned down and 2 pairs of earplugs had been provided for us. As it was, we slept very comfortably and our room was extremely quiet. Great location and clean comfortable rooms. Balcony room have a beautiful ocean view. Just be aware that there's a fee for parking per night.

We took a few days before a conference to unwind. We weren't disappointed. The hotel is right on PCH and overlooks the ocean. Be mindful that on ocean-facing rooms, there is a path that is used by a lot of people passing by to walk to and from the beach, and they tend to look up, so if you're dressing or shy, you'll want to close your shutters. I came upon the Laguna Inn on the internet. Sight unseen I booked it. The People working the front desk were very pleasant and quite helpful. The room was wonderful, very comfy and inviting. And Laguna Inn has Location, Location, Location! Falling asleep and waking to the sounds of the waves was so peaceful. I took some beautiful pictures of sunsets […] right from my room. The ability to walk right in town every morning was an absolute plus. As well as the picturesque walk along the ocean that is right behind the Inn. So gorgeous. Love staying at this hotel. Perfect location. Great breakfast, wine reception and cookies in the evening. They have the little touches. Have stayed here many times.

We were very happy with our stay and the Inn at Laguna Beach! Our ocean view was amazing and the room was clean. The wine hour was perfect too. My business partner's wife suggested he stay at Laguna Beach (he is from Toronto). I found the Inn at Laguna Beach from a maping program. The stay was perfect. However, and I hope the management is reading. The Asian gentleman that checked us out on Friday, January 13, 2012 needs to be replaced. His English is terrible, his ability to understand information […] was even worse. My partner purchased three of the gummy bear containers for his kids, the clerk said the computer only showed two, and eventually charged for only one. I had two drinks out of the in-room-bar. The clerk was confused because only one showed up on the computer and I was admitting to drinking two. At one point I had to be firm and tell the clerk we had a flight to catch. We were very pleased with the hotel and especially the location right above the beach with a patio on the 4th level offering beautiful views of the Laguna coastline. Breakfast in bed was also nice. Very fair price for all it offers.

Incredibly rude front desk staff, not enough parking, disgusting breakfast delivererd at wrong time and shabby rooms. The only upside of the hotel is the great location. There are too many other options in the area that are of better quality and at a lower price. In Laguna you do not want to have to use your car and park. This hotel is in a great spot - you can walk to most anything: main beach, restaurants, art galleries, etc. Plus, it is right on the beach. Nice staff, underground parking, breakfast included. Super place to stay in Laguna!

This hotel is shabby and rundown. The lobby looks great and, yes, it is a fabulous location but they have not kept the hotel up to date. I was very disappointed.

I loved the location of this hotel, close to the ocean and to the shopping/downtown area. It was so easy to get around, I didn't use a car over the weekend. The daily continental breakfast was a great way to start the day and the evening wine event made me feel right at home. We had a wonderful stay recently at The Inn at Laguna Beach. It is perfectly located and the staff was very helpful and attentive. We especially enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, 5:00 pm complimentary wine social, and the 7:00 pm cookies and cider. It was a nice touch to have the breakfast served in our room. Everything was great except the additional parking charge of $25.00. Seems like that should have been included since there is no place to park in Laguna Beach.

The hotel was very nice and clean. We had a reservation for a "city view" room. When we checked in, I asked how much it would be to upgrade to an "ocean view" room and Annette (I believe that was her name) was very nice and upgraded us to a "partial ocean view" room at no cost. The staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable but a little bit on the smaller side and somewhat noisy from the hallway. The pool was great with easy access to the board walk down to the ocean. Perfect location, overall very satisfied and will be back.

As a former Laguna Beach resident, I love staying downtown and you cannot beat this hotel's location. That said, the extra charges came as something of a shock. The hotel charges $20 a day as a flat fee for things like wifi access. I would have preferred to choose for myself whether or not I wanted to pay for that. I could not find the $20 fee disclosed […] anywhere. Also, parking is a rather high $25 a day, especially when you consider that parking is free on nearby Cypress Ave. (again, former resident knowledge). The only complaint I had was that there appeared to be a leak at the door and the carpet in the bathroom was wet with a slight mildew smell. I notified the hotel when checking out and they waived the resort fees. Overall it was a nice hotel.

This was a lovely hotel to stay. The customer service was excellent! They made us feel so welcome to stay there. My stay here was very short...and I didn't really get to use the amenities of the hotel, but I found it to be very satisfactory. My only complaint was that they needed to do some maintenance...some areas looked a little worn. We loved everything about the Inn except that the furniture in the room was old, scratched up and cheap looking. It definitley needs to be updated. Also, the AC unit sounded like a train chugging through when we turned it on. Fortunately, we were able to open the windows and use the ceiling fan instead. Although the hotel was listed asa 3* I would rate it as 5*, one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The location was excellent and the staff at reception etc were very helpful. i would certainly stay there again if ever in the region.

Location, location, location plus a first rate hotel. Loved the breakfast service options and the fluffy towels as wll as the impressive turn around for cleaning the room. We will definitely stay in the hotel again.

The service is very helpful and friendly. The view from the balcony is awesome - a great place for breakfast ! Even though we paid a premium rate for an ocean view room, room barely had a view. Plumbing in adjacent room was broken - hallway filled with dirty water and sewage smell. Hotel staff refused to move to different room. We had to ask repeatedly for room to be cleaned each day. Great location, but the staff was unhelpful, rude, and unresponsive. Our room faced the street , which is busy, and a bit loud. The location is amazing, perfect for seeing the Pageant of the Masters. The staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was good too.

Laguna is great. Hotel is right next to popular downtwon Laguna and large public beach. Skip the art shows up broadway.

Expensive for what it is - but Laguna beach and US in general have very expensive hotels. DO NOT let the hotel charge you a 20 USD "resort fee" per night + 25 usd parking. You will have to battle a bit to have the "resort fee" off. BUT DO ENFORCE YOUR CONTRACT. Your booking says: "YOUR RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED AND HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL". I think Hotel.com […] is big enough and should fire any hotel that surcharge their booking, it is a very bad commercial practice that some hotels do that when rate is said to be paid in full. Our room had a "car park view"... but overall the hotel is clean and charming. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beach was a pleasant surprise. Lisez la suite

1).There is no staff to help with bags when you check in. I asked and they said it was not customary for bags to be taken up to rooms but they would do it if I wanted. 2). The bed tipped to center and my husband and I slept on top of each other. We had a king. 3). What a fantastic find. If your looking for a really nice beach front hotel in Laguna Beach go to the Inn at Laguna Beach. Can not ask for a better location, on the water and a block away from downtown Laguna Beach shops and dinning. We never got in the car once we arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful. nice large, clean room. very friendly staff. perfect location right on the sand and next to main beach and downtown so no need for a rental car unless you want to drive up and down the coast. The continental breakfast that's included (with Starbucks coffee) is a nice treat, and what a beautiful way to wake up, looking at the beach on the terrace enjoying […] fresh squeezed oj and muffin. Still a nice place to stay if you are in the OC but the rooms have become over priced and the resort fees above and beyond the nightly rate are excessive!

The views are spectacular; the location cannot be more convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Inn itself is comfortable and clean, but in no way exceptional. Our room (“village view” which means view of the highway in front) reminded me a bit of an inner room on a cruise ship—small, nowhere to sit but on the bed, but serving the purpose. […] The “continental breakfast” is meager. Perhaps the biggest disappointment comes at checkout when “fees” are added to the bill. (Recall here that this review will not be printed if specific fees are mentioned, so i won't.) But be aware the Inn charges some dollars per day per person for likely use of the Internet, pool, and breakfast options—and many dollars per day for use of the Inn parking lot. If price is a concern, you need to add lots of dollars per day for these Inn “use fees”. I can’t think it is good business practice to leave guests feeling gouged as finally impression when they walk out the door. Still, the views are spectacular, and the location can’t be beat. I wish we could have stayed longer. The view is amazing. The room service breakfast that is included is a treat. You can sit on your balcony and listen to the waves crashing.
