The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. The only problem I had was that the room was advertised for one rate and then I was charged extra because there were 2 people in the room instead of just one. This is the second time that I have stayed at the Hampton Inn in Lufkin, TX. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly! The rooms are nice and clean.I would recomend to anyone visiting the Lufkin area.

One night, in and out but hotel was very clean and the bed was WONDERFUL!!!

Rooms very clean and well kept. Hotel staff professional and helpful. Only (very minor) negative was limited newspaper availability - young man behind counter explained that allocation limited and that "priority" status comes first. My feeling; I paid full price, regardless of my "priority" status. Overall, very happy - I'd stay there again.

My wife and I traveled with our two middle-aged daughters to attend our granddaughter's graduation at SFA. A room with king bed and sofa bed is all that was available and at a pretty pricey rate. The room was cramped with the sofa bed extended. Bedding for the sofa was scarce, and when I went to the front desk to ask for an additional comforter, I was […] told that there was none available. So, I asked for two additional blankets and was told that I could only have one. Only after expressing my total dissatisfaction with the situation, was I given two blankets. The sofa bed mattress was very thin and the springs were weak, which resulted in a fitful night's rest. The floor would have been more comfortable, but my daughters would not get on the floor, because they saw some kind of bug in the bathroom. The only way that I would stay here again is out of desperation, which is why I stayed here in the first place. Lisez la suite

I came in late on a Easter night and the staff was helpful and pleasant. I saw the same person the next morning when I came down to load my car and he was just as pleasant and helpful. The hotel was comforatble and the breakfast was good!

The Hampton Inn's are always consistently great! I was visiting with the United Pentecostal Church Ladies Conference. I was disappointed that there wasn't a booth selling ladies garments in the foyer like last year. Great location and fabulous breakfast!

The hotel is close to the highway and I could hear trucks coming into town most of the night. It made it difficult to sleep well. Breakfast was very disappointing. The selection was a little on the light side and there was no gravy for the biscuits. You can't have biscuits and gravy when there is no gravy. There is an excellent restaurant called the […] Hole In One Bar and Grill across the parking lot from the hotel and it is TOP NOTCH. Not what you'd expect for a bar and grill. The rooms were larger than other Hamptons we've stayed in. I liked the extra sink in the room. The staff was very helpful-the maids stayed a little late to clean our room. They breakfast area was clean and everything was plentiful.

The bed was very comfortable, and an abundance of pillows were provided. It was nice & spacious, even in the bathroom.
