CARMANA PLAZA - Vancouver

Great location; groceries accross the street. Easy walk to restaurants, waterfront, stanley park and sky train. I loved the kitchen, living combo. I wasn't looking for fancy but a practical cost effective week long stay. Would return.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in! It's clean, the location is great....but the service is horrendous! The service is speedy, but the condescending attitude is the deal-breaker. I'm on vacation, I don't need to be around that kind of vibe. Here are some examples: If you ask for an additional towel...the answer you get is.."why, we already […] gave you two?" So you have to explain that you want another one after washing your hair. If you decide you want to open up your sofa bed...their is a padlock they have placed on it...and they charge $15 to come up and open it. If you loose a room key...they charge $15 per lost room key. Upon check-in they give you somewhat of a stern lecture on keeping the carpets clean or you will be charged....and a laundry list of other warnings. I mean really? They definitely are not welcoming. We would never stay here again. I got the vibe that they cater specifically to older adults...especially asians. If you would like a more relaxed atmosphere where you can let your hair down a bit, can have some extra towels, can invite a few friends up...than DON'T come here! Lisez la suite

Everyone is super helpful and friendly, the 2-bedroom suite was a great deal and very spacious, would highly recommend.

If I were bringing a bunch of kids I may want to go to the Best Western where there is a pool and free breakfast. However, for a place for adults to stay without breaking the bank, this is it. Nice city view, clean comfortable rooms and great location near the best shopping. You can easily walk to Gastown. I'd still recommend driving to Stanley Park […] to see the whole park or walking to Spokes to rent a bike if you have the energy. Lisez la suite

The apartment hotel is very well located in the middle of downtown. I did read most of the reviews of this hotel and decided to chose it based on good overall feedback and most importantly it has a full equipped kitchen - a condition that only few hotels in Vancouver downtown have had. I am very satisfied by my selection and I don't have any problem […] during my recent 8-night stay. Some reviews have pointed out the noise problem, but at my 12th floor, I did not feel too noisy. The other thing did worry me a little before my check-in was the 3pm check-in time. I did call Hotels.com which I booked my stay and asked for early check-in as I came from Australia with a long flight and jet leg. When I arrived, they said they have received my request but my room was not ready until 11am, which was better than 3pm but I still had to wait for 2 hours. However, on the other side of coin, when I checked out, I enjoyed the late check up of up to 1pm without penalty. Lisez la suite

Stayed 1 night after disembarking from Alaska cruise. We got a 2 bedroom suite for 5 adults and 1 child. Front desk was very helpful with city information, exchanged currency for us, gave us bus information & restaurant recommendations. The suite was clean & very spacious, plenty of room for all of us. 2 bathrooms. Sofabed was already opened. AC turned […] up nice and cool. Bottles of water in the kitchen. Extra touches like robes & slippers made us wish we were staying a little longer. We easily got the public bus to Granville Island & Stanley Park (even with our stroller and 2 year old!). We wanted to have dinner at the chinese restaurant next door, but unfortunately, it was a Saturday night, and we did not have reservations, so we ended up at a Japanese restaurant a few doors down Oyshi Oyshi (sp?). The sushi was excellent, and the service was wonderful. We ordered the salmon/tuna boat and got toro! With our tummies full and happy, we took a walk to the harbor and back before retiring for the night. There were some kind of fireworks at the harbor, but we were so tired we all slept through it. A couple of drawbacks: No wireless internet, and a crib cost $15/day. Lisez la suite

We stayed in a one bedroom condo which was very comfortable. There is an Urban Life grocery/restaurant located right across the street which is very convenient. The location of this hotel is in downtown and convenient to restaurants and the waterfront. ホテルのスッタフも親切でとても快適に過ごせました。外食をしないなら、キッチンも使いやすくて良いと思います。

お部屋は広いし清潔で、とても快適に過ごせました。場所もめちゃめちゃ便利でとてもお勧めです。ただ、唯一改善できればいいな、と思うのはメインエントランス、及び駐車場を見つけやすくすることです。

玄関、ロビーはみすぼらしく、とんだホテルを予約してしまったと思ったが、部屋は料金にしては大変よかった。

部屋はスタンダードでしたが、とても広く清潔でした。 コーヒーメーカーとコーヒーが置いててあり、毎朝出来立てのコーヒーを飲めたのがとても良かったです。 通りの前には「アーバンフェア」というお洒落なスーパーがあったのでとても便利でした。 室内もホテルだと、空気が悪いと感じる事が多いのですが、ここは違いました。 また、荷物を運んでくれるポーターさんがとても明るく親切で良かったです。 かなりの高評価でした。

環境や設備に全く問題なし。 高いお金で老舗ホテルに泊るよりコンドミニアム型で非常に便利なホテル。 ただし、目の前のスーパー側の部屋なら静かだが、ロブソン通り側だと間の小道に清掃車がくるので朝やかましいです。

バンクーバーの繁華街にあり、買い物にも便利です。 また、スタンレー公園にも近いので、子供たちとサイクリングなどで楽しみました。 ホテルの方々も親切で、尋ね事をしても電話で確認していただいたり、ドアボーイの方に親しく話しかけていただいたりと楽しいホテルライフでした。
