ROYAL PALMS HOTEL - Pembroke

This hotel was very lovely, and I did not find it weird being in a beach town with ants in the bathroom - but when I woke up with ants crawling all over my pillow and my head i was a bit upset. this is something that is common in bermuda (said the owner) but i think if you are paying over 400 dollars a night for a room they should do something about […] this. i left bermuda iching - although they do not bite, in my mind they were crawling all over my body (i did find one on my boxer shorts...) other then the ants the staff was very friendly and the hotel quaint Lisez la suite

Very quiet and nice.

This is the cutest hotel. I feel like i'm staying at a cottage everytime i go. They offer the best rates in Hamilton too. There's complimentary breakfast (so good). Our friends stayed at the princess for double our rate and came to our hotel for breakfast. Staff is super sweet, helpful, and friendly. The pool is OK but hey you're in bermuda. Wife and I needed an extra night in Bermuda and chose the Royal Palms based on good price. Turned out to be ever so much more! Room was LARGE, flat screen TV, microwave, cooking utensils, dishes and CHINA teacups and saucers! Public rooms like the living area of a beautiful mansion. Oriental rugs, books to read, lots of tourism literature, comfortable […] sitting rooms, lovely breakfast room and porch/terrace. Pool nicely equipped with chaises/umbrellas very clean. Bags brought up to our room quickly and cheerfully. Garden outdoors very pretty (even for Bermuda which is saying something!). Breakfast included including delicious make-yourself Belgian Waffles. Free (wired) internet in room. Front desk staff could NOT have been nicer or more helpful. I found only two tiny drawbacks: 1. In summer the hotel is a bit far from the shopping district of Hamilton and not near a bus route so bring your walking shoes, stay in the shade or bring a parasol ;-). Alternatively, rent a motor scooter or take taxis. 2. This is probably true for many hotels in Bermuda but watch if you're using international phone card and think you're using the in-room phone for "free" 1-800 access number. One of our calls to a Bermuda 1-800 number to use our calling card cost $7.50! That having been said, I would stay at the Royal Palms again--ask for room 129, it was TERRIFIC! Lisez la suite

I could not have been happier with the stay at the Royal Palms. Right from walking up the front porch steps, it had such a comfortable, homey feel to it. To then being greeted so warmly by the staff (I believe her name was Leslie). She made sure to tell me everything about the hotel, and even gave me a tour before walking me directly to my room & making […] sure I was okay with my bag. The room was neatly made, nice and cool, and everything was clean & comfortable. She explained to me where to find extra towels for the pool, and things in the kitchenette area. The breakfast they offered in the morning was phenomenal, ranging from pastries & juice, to having fresh ham & sliced cheese, a waffle making station, and even hard boiled eggs. Fresh coffee & tea all day long, and the friendliest staff I've encountered anywhere. Everytime I turned the corner, one of them was there with a smile & a warm hello, making sure my stay was memorable. For the price, you couldn't beat it! A beautiful garden area was very relaxing to kick back on the swing with a cocktail & relax. For the location, I couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely recommend this hotel & will hopefully be returning again someday. Lisez la suite

I was impressed by the Bed/Breakfast and the consistent quality of the hote staff service. The room was fine for my stay of 7 days, the hotel restaurant, Ascot was quite good and the staff there also was absolutely without blemish. Can't wait to return to Bermuda and the Royal Palms.

Albergo molto tranquillo, a pochi passi dal centro di Hamilton. Camere comode e spaziose, ottima prima colazione, personale molto disponibile e cortese. L'edificio è circondato da un magnifico giardino con piante e fiori rigogliosi, l'ambiente è rilassante, ottimo il servizio.
