"Worst Hilton Ever"
The room originally assigned to me was on the first floor, at an intersection of 3 hallways and elevators; incredibly noisy and not very private. Wrestlers and families were staying there - much rowdiness, running, noise and horseplay. The foyer had dirty floors from all the traffic, which remained dirty. The heater in my room was broken. The bathroom […] did not have a vent fan to air it out and clear the mirror. Best news: the bed was comfortable or I would have stayed elsewhere. In sum: I've stayed at Holiday Inns, Drury Inns, Quality Inns, Clarions, and Comfort Inns that were all superior to your Hotel for a comparable price. Consequently, I do not plan to stay there again. "Execellent location!"
This hotel is near all the things we wanted to see. Easy to find and our room was neat and clean. The bed was a little hard to sleep on. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. The next time we are in the area, we will stay there again.

"Valentines' Getaway"
Great hotel with the fabulous Hereford House connected...a real plus when the temperature was about zero outside. Sunday morning dip in the heated pool and a soak in the hot tub...no one there but us.

the room was really too small... no jetted tubs but are advertised to have them. i have stayed in alot better for alot cheaper. the breakfast was way too high and not many options for a buffet to choose from. will jot spend the kind of money i did to stay here again.. will spend the same money next time for better. you are paying for the " HILTON" name […] not the quality Lisez la suite

"Hilton GArden Inn, Independence, MO"
Had a wonderful stay. We arrived the day of their 10 year anniversary event and were treated to casino night, drinks, and a lovely free photo. The staff was very helpful, the restaurant next door was exceptional. We were just a few miles from the Truman Library.
"Good value"
When the Kansas 400 sold out most hotels in between Lawrence and Kansas City, we ended up staying here since it was reasonably priced and looked the most likely to be clean and comfortable. We were not disappointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, room was spacious and our service was quick and polite.
Overall very good. I had an excessible room that was very accomodating. Also I left my lap top called the hotel and my son picked it up. The only thing my wife noticed was the hotel receives some sound from the highway traffic.

I booked this room for my wife and children so that they could have a weekend in Independence! They were thrilled and thanked me various times over the weekned for the beautiful hotel room, the property and the location! I will book here again the next time. The reservation process went great!
"Great freeway access"
We loved our stay. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Excellent freeway access. The pool and workout room were nice as well. I highly recommend this hotel!

I have been disappointed in recent months with most of the Hotels I have stayed in. But the Hilton Garden Inn Independence surpassed my expectations. In facility and staff.

The lobby was beautiful and inviting. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel itself was about 20 minutes from all the places we went to. It was a very nice stay.
"Good location, but noisy neighborhood"
We thought we were in luck when our check-in started with the front desk clerk upgrading us to the VIP floor (6th floor, no kids allowed). What we found out was that there was road construction going on throughout all hours of the night & that caused a defintie distraction when it came time to fall asleep. We also had to battle the constant gurgling […] noise that was coming from our mini fridge. You could clearly hear it over the TV. We finally ended up unplugging it just so we could fall asleep. The shower had some standing water around the drain & when you turned on the water, a hairball came up out of the drain...gross! THe best part of the stay was that there is an amazing famous Kansas City steakhouse attached to the hotel, Hereford House. I completely recommend grabbing a bite to eat there, jsut bring your apetite. The hotel gives you a 15% off coupon to the restaurant as well. The wait staff & cook staff are very accomodating when it comes to dietary needs & are very knowledgeable with their restaurant's product. Great food, great employees, great atmosphere! "hotel stay"
we loved the hotel , they put us in a handicapp room all they had that was a king non smoking . bed was lower and more room to move around in the bathroom area sink was small because it was handicapp if we stay again would rather have a regular king. had a little bit of an odor to it but we sprayed and then it was not bad over all was nice friendly […] clean place w/ a great place to eat right connected to it !!!! Very nice hotel off the highway and located next to a shopping mall. We really enjoyed our stay and the pool with hot tub spa was perfect. The refridgerator and microwave oven in the room was a major plus. The only downside is the two double beds were only full size beds not queen size beds. "Hilton Garden"
The hotel was nice and clean. Had a indoor pool but didn't get to take advantage of it. Close to the ballpark and Kansas City. Perfect for a weekend of baseball.

I was dissappointed in the mainentance and cleanliness of this hotel. The HVAC fan had a clicking noice that kept us up throughout the night and had an odor to the air flow. The pool was cloudy and very small. On the positive side the staff was very courteous and helpful.
