Wifi payant. Activités de loisirs payantes.

"THE GAYLORD PALMS IN KISSIMMEE,FL"
ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS WE EVER VISITED.IF YOU EVER GET A CHANCE TO STAY THERE DO IT. WRECKERS SPORTS BAR IS A GREAT PLACE TO WATCH A YANKEE GAME.
"Perfect for families"
Staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I would love to return soon. As a matter of fact, I didn't want to leave. I travel quite a bit for work and can be pretty demanding. Here I didn't have to be because everything has been thought through carefully. Thank you, Gaylord Palms.
"Great family resort"
This was a great stay and with the grand opening of the water park, our family vacation was made even better.
"gaylord palms orlando"
We noticed all the improvements. The adult pool is stunning!! Our stay was one of the most fabulous stays there yet. We have stayed there every easter weekend for the past seven years.
"The Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando,FL - Expensive"
Not worth the money. Expensive Room Rates and Resort Fees. A one night day stay with resort fees and parking was very pricey and got us the Florida View - which was a view of the parking lot - not an atrium view which was a huge disappointment for the price. Resort policies were ridiculous with making guests of the hotel wear wristbands in order to […] have access to the pool facilities - I felt like I was in an amusement park - absurd policy. There was a big cheerleading competition event that was going on during our stay so the hotel felt more like a convention hotel and less like a resort. Very disappointing to say the least. Would not stay there again. Lisez la suite
"Gaylord palms - great value"
This hotel offers great value and amenities for being so close to all the major attractions
"Great hotel for family and weekend getaways"
We stayed at the Gaylord Palms during our recent vacation in South Florida. It is located very close to Disney and all other parks and very close to an unreal outlet mall. The service throughout the entire place was world-class. The hotel is stunningly beautiful, inside and out. The indoors atrium is massive and took hours to explore. The sportsbar […] has a 2 story tv screen with 6 programs going at once. The buffet was fabulous for brunch, the steak houses were both delicious and elegant. We didn't have time to sample all restaurants and bars, but they all looked fabulous. The pool and watermark were outstanding and fun. There was a separate 18+ lap pool that was a nice break from the kids and noise. Well worth the money!!! We will never stay "on the property" again. This resort is far superior. Lisez la suite
"Gaylord Palms"
Hotel was great. Only wish Hotels.com had mentioned "hidden" fees. Had to pay an extra $15/day for "resort fee" plus parking of "$16.00/day. There was NO free parking. This should be mentioned up front as I arrived thinking everything had been paid in advance!!!!

"Great Stay"
Newly renovated rooms. Amazing beds. Great rate for the price. Minutes away from Disney, and pretty close to other attractions like Universal and Sea World. Excellent staff. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed. There is a resort fee and a parking fee though, but I had such a lovely stay it didn't bother me at all.
"Beautiful Gardens"
No shuttle to parks. The kids pool is under construciton. The Atrium is gorgeous.
Beautiful hotel, almost on disney property
"Horrendous Customer Service Experience"
I have never had an experience like this at a supposedly "world class" hotel. Not one person from the time we checked in to the time the valet pulled our car up to leave did an employee act like they cared about whether we were taken care of. Check-in was a disaster as there was a very long line and only 2-3 desk staff checking people in, while several […] others & mgrs looked on without offering to open another computer. I made numerous phone calls to front desk/valet/spa and was never answered by less than 8 rings. My questions were not answered and I was told to try walking down to the spa if they weren't answering (not that big a deal, except that the hotel grounds are huge). Overall, we got what we needed an NOTHING more. I just left with a sour taste in my mouth. Lisez la suite
"Gaylord Palms Orlando Florida"
Had a wonderful visit there & would stay there again. Loved it!
Wish that there was tea in the rooms as well - not everyone drinks coffee, and to get tea delivered would be $6 plus delivery charge to room... Other than that the Gaylord hotels are amazing - a great experience and wonderful place to stay and eat!
"Gaylord Palms Orlando"
We were able to book our stay at the Gaylord through an online discount site. I had heard that you can aquire a great deal that way of unsold rooms. I understand when you book an unsold room through a discount site you are not going to get a top end room. However I never expected a hotel like the Gaylord Palms to have rooms that were so poor.
"The Gaylord Palms---A resort destination!"
We had the best time here! The atrium was fantastic with all the plants and flowers. We ate at the resturant with a boat in the midst of the lagoon and the food & service was exceptional! I highly recommend this resort, you really never have to leave. But if you do, all the Disney parks are just 5 minutes away!
I enjoyed the size of the room. The pillows and bed were extremely comfortable.

Great atriums, and atmophere, nice hote, just be prepared for an extra $30 a night for parking and resort fees plus taxes on top of the rate. Food very expensive as well.

"Gaylord Palms - Had an awful allergic reaction"
Let me preface this review by stating that I have stayed in this resort before and LOVED it. It's beautiful and has plenty of shops and eateries inside, along with a koi pond, alligators/crocodiles, and a spa. Last time I stayed there (a year or two ago), I had no issues. HOWEVER, this time I had a severe allergic reaction to something in the bedding. […] Upon check-in, I took a nap for a few hours. I woke to a strong burning sensation on my legs. I took a shower, but I still itched on my legs, arms, and torso. I took Benadryl and the itching subsided. I slept fully clothed, on top of the the blanket (not between the bedsheets), wrapped in a small blanket I had brought from home. When I woke in the morning I was iching everywhere on my body except my face. It was HORRIBLE. I took a shower, and it did not help. I took many Benadryl pills and held cool, damp towels on my skin. When my fiance woke up, I was crying, and I told him I wanted to check out immediately. Check-out was brutal. I told them about the reaction and asked what detergent they used, and what type of bedding. They advised they did not know. I had to wait for security co I could fill out an incident report (all the while I was itching horribly, and I could barely stand up or write straight) and they told me to follow up with them. They gave me little packets of hydrocortisone, which made my skin burn even worse, and did nothing for the itch. I then bought calamine lotion and benadryl gel, which I applied many times during the 7-hr drive home (whenever I awoke from the Benadryl-induced sleep). I ended up going to the ER within an hour or so of arriving at home because the extreme itching and burning had not subsided. They gave me an IV of steroids and anti-histamines, along with 3 prescriptions to get filled. They told me I had suffered an extreme allergic reaction, and since I have no known allergies, I needed to speak with the hotel to determine what I reacted to. I did advise the doctor that I saw no sig Lisez la suite
"Poor Quality for High Price"
We were shocked at the lack of services for this high priced hotel. We have stayed at many resorts in the past which far exceed the level of comfort provided by this hotel. Get ready to pay for every little thing you need. Parking is a hastle too. The hotel is so large they have to give you a map to try and figure out your way around. We even had to […] help a crying young child find her parents. After a week at a high end Disney Resort, we thought we would have a moment to relax in this hotel before returning home. Our in room refrigerator was making so much noise we couldn't sleep until we figured out how to turn it off. If you want a view of their "majestic" atrium, you'll have to pay extra for that too. I just cannot tell you how disappointed we were in this hotel. Lisez la suite
"Poor Customer Service and Air Conditioner Noise"
When I arrived I struggled with three bags through the lobby, no employee asked if they could help. I checked in and Front Desk was busy with other things. I waited two or three minutes at the counter (only person checking in was me) and she was not very helpful. I explained that I had a major presentation I had to work on and needed to be in a quite […] area. When I noticed by the direction map to my room showed it to be overlooking the parking lot, I voiced concern about possible noise. Assured that I had a quite room I struggled with my bags toward the elevator again passing two or three hotel employees who did not ask if I needed help. Down as I reached the Bell Hop desk two employees were laughing and messing around, not asking if they could help me, I gave them ten dollars to take two bags to my room. Needless to say the room was in fact overlooking a parking lot where car alarms would beep, and three white semi trucks drove through the lot. In addition, there was a large chain saw noise coming from the outside. I called the front desk and Sally was kind enough to go check out the noise. During the noise investigation discovered that the noise was in fact the air conditioner. For a Hotel that "prides" itself on star costomer service, I will never return. The Peabody Hotel has my business and I should have never canceled my reservations there and tried the Gaylord. Lisez la suite
"a destination in of itself, make food reservations"
My husband and I have been to the Gaylord Palms during Christmas, and enjoyed ourselves once again this time also. The atrium rooms are awesome, and are a must see! Make sure you make reservations for dinner. The Hickory Steakhouse is very expensive, we ate at the Villa de Flora buffet, and it was delicious, but still require reservations even for breakfast! […] If you are going to any of the Disney resorts, be advised to make food reservations for EVERY meal! They are located right at the entrance to the Disney Gate...they have shuttle buses to take you to the theme parks, it is part of your resort fee. Make sure you have a few dollar bills to tip bell men and valet drivers, If you can avoid needing a trolley cart to take your belongings in/out of the room, you will save money that way also. We will be visiting there again! Lisez la suite
"Nice Resort/Convention Property"
In town for the Mecum Auto Auction so I decided to introduce my girlfriend to a nice business hotel. Our stay was brief but very enjoyable. Gaylord does an excellent job with respect to customer service and the food was much better than most business properties. My only complaint is, due to much business traffic, I could not get into the restaurant […] I wanted but, nonetheless, I did enjoy dinner at the back-up choice. I would recommend this hotel to all for any occasion. Lisez la suite
"Christmas Stay"
We are frequent visitors to Florida and have always liked Glaylord Palms and when we decided to visit for 3 weeks at Christmas we found an amazing deal for a week at Gaylord which we booked... Unfortunately the hotel was constantly noisy due to a singer that performed every half hour even into the .late evening which was so loud you could barely hear […] the tv in the room. The room service failed to replace any tea / coffee facilities on a few occassions and one day we had no water to our room so no shower /, unable to wash / brush teeth and we were instead given 2 bottles of water extra in our rooms. We had the international buffet which regardless of the country has the same food - nice although nothing spectacular. We also had nightmares parking as lazy people decide constantly yo abondon their cars at all ends of parking bays rather than doing a 2 minute walk to the overflow carpark - which no one monitors. The hotel charged us both self park and valet for the whole stay which we promply had refunded when we complained and also a resort fee for the day of no water. The hotel charge a resort fee but do not give you the information fot wifi at check and so we were unaware we had this causing extensive charges to our own phones etc Overall the hotel remains to be a beautiful site however the constant battle of people and cars were too much for us and were glad when we checked into our other hotel. The location of gaylords is also surrounded by tolls so this is somehting to remember if you have never visited florida - they soon add up! Lisez la suite

"We can't find your car sir..."
Just what you want to hear from the valet when you want to have your car pulled up. Actually the Gaylord gets $22 per day to park your car however when they can't find your car they do not offer to arrange a car or even act like it was a big deal. The front duty manager said "this happens all the time, just go have dinner and when you get back it will […] be sitting up front". Bottom line my car was used by another guest to go shopping. The hotel's calculation of our lost evening to EPCOT was 2 free breakfast coupons for our party of 4. Way to go. Finally the morning we left the whole resort was out of water so let's just say the next time I want to spend a grand in Orlando it will not be at the Gaylord Palms. Lisez la suite
"An O.K. Resort"
Ok, I'll be brief and articulate better. The resort and its ammentities are amazing. The layout, the innovation, etc....we love. The rooms? Yeah, noo, nothing really over the top or memorable. I've stayed at regular Marriott resorts that I'm still talking about over 6years later. I really was hoping for a beautifully laid room, but was disappointed. […] I guess my expectations were too high. I engaged my wife at this resort and always wanted to stay there. 9 years later I decided to stay there (12/21/11) and............nothing. So we'll be back to probably just walk around or for their ICE show. Lisez la suite

We are so pleased with the entire experience. The Ice and Snow show, the hotel itself, and Haagen Daz till 11:00pm That is a thumbs up! A bit pricey in the food department, but all in all an memorable stay! Highly recommended!
"Gaylord Palms, Orlando - Good location"
Very nice hotel.....like a hotel in Vegas, but for the family and minus the slots! Nice restaurants and beautiful decor in lobby/restarant area. Rooms are small, but just there to sleep, so fine.
"Expect Resort Prices"
Nice place. We happen to go during a very busy time so there was always a line at the valet parking. Expect to pay an extra $30+ per day in "resort fees" and parking. Cost of food is on par with resort prices - very expensive. Lots of construction so the pool was very noisy. Pool is small and not well suited for small children. But I think they are […] building a new pool area for kids. Rooms are excellent. We stayed in the cheaper rooms and they are top notch. Not a big fan of the restaurants. Food was not that great and was very expensive. Lisez la suite

"Gaylor Palms, Kissimmee FL. - Close to Disney"
$15/day for parking; $17/day requisite resort fee whether you use it or not. Within walking distance of nothing. You are trapped in an overpriced, highly themed enviornment that creates a highly negative pressure around your wallet. Parking spaces are tight and require adept control over your unfamiliar rental car. If Disney is your destination, then […] the superfluous theming of this resort may drive you to end it in Lake Buena Vista. For all you Shrek Fans, this may be your place. For everyone else?
