Très bel hôtel et personnel agréable. La chambre était grande, moderne et très bien aménagée (bon, il faut aimer le style rayures noires et blanches !). L'hôtel est situé légèrement en retrait de Kings Cross permettant ainsi de profiter pleinement de la vie nocturne du quartier tout en bénéficiant du calme de l'emplacement de l'hôtel.

Hotel très bien situé dans le coeur de sydney à proximité de George street, de chinatown et de Darling Harbour. La chambre était bien équipée mais les placards étaient un peu branlant et la poele un peu trop ancienne (elle a déclanché l'alarme incendies car elle fumait trop et malgré la ventilation !). Mis à part ce désagrément nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Nous avons aimé le fait d'être accueillit comme tout le monde car nous étions deux jeunes avec des gros sac a dos de Backpacker, on ne présentait pas super bien par rapport au standing de l'hotel mais ils n'ont fait aucune différence et ça c'était très appréciable sinon l'hotel est très bien dans son ensemble, rien a redire.

Ensemble très satisfaisant, juste à côté de la gare central, aucun bruit de train, personnel agréable dans l'ensemble, très bien reçu de lio, cécile et un maori je pense au concièrge, super rien à dire et de plus ils parlent français....

Quelques voisins de palier bruyants, donc acoustique des portes des chambres à revoir...Par ailleurs, les joints de robinets sont HS: l'eau goutte sans arrêt, les pommes de douches sont de qualité basique et vous restent souvent dans les mains...Mais se remontent facilement...

Très bien situé par rapport aux restaurants, au quartier chinois, à Darling Harbour, et aux cinémas. Le premier shopping center se trouve à 50m: Coles, pharmacies, tout y est. Chambre propre et confortable, et surtout bien insonorisée par rapport à la rue.
L’hôtel est très bien situé. Chambre d'état correct mais salle de bain vétuste (devrait être refaite). Dans l'ensemble il est satisfaisant pour des séjours de courte durée. Le personnel à l'accueil a été professionnel et agréable.
Hotel très bien situé, à l'arrivée pas très contente de notre chambre (fumeur). le lendemain nous avons demandé de changer en chambre non-fumeur....nettement mieux que la précédente.....

"What happened to the Metro!!!"
Stayed there once before in jan 2011 and had some trouble with spa not working but things were nice. What happend??? Hotel is now terrible. Service was embarrasing as i had recommended this hotel to my partners family and it was like an overpriced back packers accomodation. service was a 0 or -10 lol shocking. Rooms were badly in need of renovation. […] Taps falling off, map of australia chipped out in toilet lol. Paint peeling throughout room. Out-dated decor. Couch that had a bar that would stick into your back. Average breakfast. Street side stuck of rubbish the first night. Family had view of a building and rubbish. Lisez la suite

Hotel was nice but the room was pretty sparse. There was an area by the window for a table and/or chair but nothing there. The only place to sit was the bed. Also, the carpet was full of stains and the pool area was closed but this was never mentioned prior to booking. Updating the rooms would be a good idea. Other than that it was a nice property. The hotel was in a pretty centrally located area. About a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour and right near World Square and the Central train station. The rooms were not as nice as expected for the price and this was kind of a let down. If you don't care about what the rooms look like, stay at a cheaper hotel.

We were able to check in early - which was fantastic. The manager who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. When we got to our room, the bathroom and the sink were unclean but we didn't have time to get upgraded or have time for them to come in and repeat the job as we were busy getting ready for a concert. I had stayed there previously so […] I was a little dissappointed that the premium twin room I had ordered for this trip as opposed to the twin room last time was on a lower floor and not as well maintained. I had booked them based on a previous visit which had been fantastic, but it is unlikely I will book with them again. Although, it seems its a 50/50 chance you might have a good experience. When this was highlighted to reception, was told that guest need to put the "no disturb" sign at door...Sincerely hope that there are more security for guests. We were looking for an overnight hotel prior to boarding a plane to the U.S. the next day. Bed was rather uncomfortable and next day's breakfast adequate. If you are looking for one overnight, then the price is good and the location is fine.

The location is really convienice and close to everywhere. The hotel really needs a redecoration. The room I stayed is much worse than I thought, the tap in bathroom was leaking, no one can fix it. The smell in the room is terrible. The hotel staff are helpful.

This hotel was reasonably priced and the location was convenient to many downtown sites. Also, it was a good location for hopping on and off the buses to other parts of the city.
"The perfect location and great service"
Arriving at 8.30am without sleep the previous night, we were exahusted. All we wanted was to sleep. The wonderful staff at the reception desk put a rush on our room. We had a couple of the most comfortable and refreshing hours sleep before heading out to explore the fantastic location. It was great service, staff are very helpful,room was cleaned to good as we found a make up bag under one of the beds, we left it there.

The staff was very nice but the hotel needs a makeover. I did not think it was dirty but everything was so old it felt dingy. The bed was not great either as far as comfort. It was close to transit but otherwise I did not like the locations. As a single I had to book the triple single bed room as it was only one available at the time.When I first arrived there was conditioner from the dispenser leaking into the bathtub with no body wash lotion left & extemeley poor water pressure in shower.The bed that I used was well damaged & had a lean to it,out of repect for House Keeping I only used […] the one bed.Walls seemed to only be for show as you could hear everything happening in the near vicinity,especially the loud slamming doors...Tip:to turn the in house air con unit off only insert your access card into power slot half way. Great location - so close to Capitol Theatre, Central Station, China Town and so many fantastic restaurants. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Great value for money. Will recommend to family and friends. Thank you

I have a small business and therefore watch my accommodation budget pretty closely ... which means I have stayed in some ordinary hotels that looked way better on the internet than in real life. I am delighted to report that Metro Central is not one of those - it provides excellent vlaue for money. Rooms are clean,attractive, well presented and serviced […] daily. Service is great (I had a television problem that someone fixed within minutes). Breakfast is fresh and good. Its a shame the hotel doesn't have a restaurant (other than for bvreakfast) - but in reality there are probably 50 restaurants of all ethnicities, costs and styles within aboout 100 metres. I recently stayed in this hotel and I found the service very good! Our flight was early and they let us check in at 10am and into our room! The staff were efficient and helpful, the rooms were standard with no mini bar in the Lobby they have a mini bar and 7-11 around the corner. It is right in Chinatown which was fine and walking distance to most things! […] The taxi ride was a Bit dear although they have a shuttle service which takes about half hour and only $14. The buffet breakfast was average and the coffee is horrible :| but other than that fine! This hotel was very good for the price and I would recommend it. Lisez la suite
