An irregularly shaped, 47.25-meter-wide (155-ft) pool faces a beachfront boardwalk.
This Puerto Rico resort is arrayed along a 3-km (2-mi) sandy beach on Añasco Bay. The bay remains calm in most weather, although the resort's water-sports center does rent boogie boards as well as kayaks and pedal boats.
Tres Palmas Marine Reserve, 10 km (6.25 mi) north of the resort, is a prime snorkeling spot. Beaches 10–30 km (6.25-19 mi) north of the resort attract surfers from around the world. The resort's water-sports center offers scuba instruction/certification and books scuba and snorkeling tours to destinations such as Desecheo Island National Wildlife Refuge, 19.25 km (12 mi) off the coast.
Whale-watchers flock to Rincón during the January–April humpback-whale migration. Whales can often be seen from the top floors of the resort's two beachfront buildings.
Guests enjoy complimentary use of two lighted tennis courts, a Ping-Pong table, an artificial-turf putting green, and a giant outdoor chessboard.

And they should really clean the beach daily. I found glass on the beach eah day I was there.

"room change made all the difference"
First room was rather small and dark. Upgraded to a jr. suite and it was wonderful. Large room with 4 poster bed and fold out couch, large bathroom with jacuzzi ( we didn't have time to use it), great balconey with 270 degree views- we were the end room on third story. Grounds well kept. More low key feel than some of "splashier" places.

Beatiful, clean, comfortable. Large rooms, great pool with the ocean as a stunning backdrop. Oddly no breakfast, or coffee!! Great casual outdoor cafe. A few ants in the otherwise immacculate room but, we are in the tropics!

"Good value for the money"
Not a five-star hotel but it is nice. Good sandy beach that is calmer than the surfing beaches nearby. Good hotel pool. Room was clean except for the mineral stains in the toilet bowl. Beware of the maids; they will wake you up at 8 AM to service the room unless you put up the do not disturb sign! I would avoid the retaurant. It is not worth it. We […] ate there for both breakfast and dinner. Ther service is really bad. The waiters and waitresses do not follow directions and they have no clue about how to conduct themselves in a restaurant. Nether does the chef, for that matter! If you want a good value in a nice beach location with a good pool and decent rooms, this is a good place. "Great Vacation"
This hotel is really awesome. Great Staff, Food, Rooms, Pool & Beach Area. It is not directly in the heart of Rincon but close enough. Loved our room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool & ocean. The beach is beautiful. We enjoyed our balcony as well. I'm still dreaming of the Mahi wraps we enjoyed on fm the pool/beach bar - delicious! Will go back […] there again when on that side of the island. If you're looking for "nightlife" you should go to Isla Verde or Old San Juan. This side of the Island is a quiet side. "Perfect for relaxing!"
The Rincon Beach Resort turned out to be exactly what my fiance were looking for in a smaller sized hotel, away from all the stresses of the world. We came for the beach and boy, did it deliver. We stayed during the week and had plenty of wide open sand to ourselves to take in the sun and enjoy the views. You can walk for miles down the beach and hardly […] see another soul. Perfect for when my then boyfriend to pop the question! We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and inviting. We got a room on the 4th (highest) floor with a balcony with great water views. We also utilized the open patio overlooking with 180' water views on that floor every evening for drinks and playing cards. Room were clean and nothing elaborate, but we only used them to sleep and the bed was comfortable enough. I would only suggest giving yourself about 3hrs drive from San Juan. The location of the hotel is great, with a nice beach/pool and easy access to Rincon and other local sites. The hotel itself is REALLY dated. They are quite stingy with amenities (soap, shampoo the first day, none after that), one hand towel not restocked after the first day, get one card for a beach towel and only get a second when you turn in the […] beach towel. "Rincon Beach Resort-Puerto Rico | DO NOT STAY"
We were misled when booking this hotel and told it is within walking distance to bars and other night life. In realty it is fenced in for security reasons, and I would not have walked anywhere. There is no activity nearby. This is also not really in Rincon. This is the far south end of the area, and nothing going on here. The hot tub was not heated, […] and bubbles only turned on every 30+/- minutes. Beach towels were stained, as well as the room towels. The rooms were not thoroughly cleaned (e.g., food left on the floor). With the exception of a couple nice people, the staff was very unfriendly and unaccomodating. "A peaceful, private, and romantic week"
We were very pleased with the hotel, the food at Brasas restaurant, and the wonderful sunsets that can be enjoyed from the beach or the pool. The service was also very good. Our room had a balcony and ocean view from the 4th floor,a king size bed, a fridge, nicely decorated and was very clean. I have already recommended the place to friends.

"Peace and Quiet"
Spent one night here at this peaceful locale. Difficult to find (sign to entrance faces opposite direction if coming from Rincon). Not much wave action for surfers- must venture around point northeastward). Recommend Maria's Beach. Lovely grounds and amenities, including pools and jacuzzi. Beautiful outdoor setting with elegant outdoor furnishings and beautiful orchids hanging from the palms. Lazy afternoons on the beach. Not much to do, but that is the point of vacations!
"Birthday retreat"
I took my boyfriend to the resort as a get away for the weekend. We loved the pool area and beach- beautiful. The hotel had private parties going on and it limited us with using the restaurant. Plus I requested a king size bed and it was not available. Overall we did enjoy our time together!!!
Telephones that do not work, dirty A/C units, noisy fans, charge for internet, old furniture. Not the things you expect for the cost they charge per night. The only thing that was worth was the restaurant. Good food but very expensive.

"Hotel Grounds are Stunning"
The grounds for this hotel are stunning. Everywhere you look there is a fabulous vista. It is like a tropical paradise. The service is slow and not very friendly. The service was slow in the restaurant and at the checkin/out.

We had a great three-day weekend stay. Just picked this hotel off internet, and turned out to be a real find! Beautiful little hotel right on beach, beautiful pool, no other hotels or even house around. Perfect for relaxing and long beach walks.

We stayed at the Rincon Beach Resort for a friend's wedding. Most everyone from the wedding stayed in town either in other hotels or rental villas. I chose to stay at the Beach Resort b/c I'm pregnant and wanted access to 4 star amenities and a hotel restaurant. Best Qualities of the Hotel: The private beach was beautiful, comfortable and not crowded. […] We went to 3 beaches in Rincon and the hotel beach has the softest sand and calmest waters for swimming- absolutely worth the stay here. Friendly staff. So helpful with directions and requests. Restaurant: all fish options were delicious. Best brownie sundae- hands down. A/C in the room and your own hot water heater kept me comfortable Downside: No room service. Restaurant hours- not open late Standard room left something to be desired. Very plain, not luxury/ not 4 star Can't walk into town or surrounding restaurants/shops. Needed a car. All in all, nice stay. The beach makes up for the rooms in my opinion. This hotel was quiet (not many kids at all) with not many guests. This was nice for relaxing, but if you're craving a "social" or "lively" scene, check out the Lazy Parrot or Villa Confresi. Lisez la suite

"Labor Day in Rincon"
We had a great time. There is some construction going on but it was quiet for the weekend. When we checked out on Tuesday, the construction had started up again. As a result, the hotel comped our breakfast which was nice.
"Off Season Construction"
It is a very nice resort. Excellent Pool area. The pool area was no more then 100 feet from the Beach. There was a pool side Drink Bar. The choice of Floral was excellent. Very Tropical. All of the Hotel spoke English very well, so there was not any language barrier. I had only 2 complaints. The Internet service I purchased for the stay was very weak. […] The WIFI signal in the room was comparable to dial-up, but was excellent in all of the public areas of the hotel. The other bad item was the renovation and expansion in process. Got woke up early every morning during the weekday by Hammering and construction machinery noises. Other then that I give it 9 stars out of 10. And I will be staying there the next time I visit Puerto Rico. Word of caution for first timers. The months of May thru September are the off season in Puerto Rico. Very nice hotel outside the pace of the busy city. Lovely beach and pool. Near great snorkeling and outside main tourist area. Limited hours in pool and bar service and gift shop was never open. No soda or snack machines or sunscreen, so make a stop before you get there. Ice only available from bar. Refrigerator in room was used. Evening meal at restaurant […] was excellent. If you enjoy resort stays, and expect only resort amenities then this place fits your needs. but don't expect any modern amenities in this community. its a relaxing community where everyone is laid back. The resort is off the beaten path. Give yourself at least 3 to 4 hours if your driving from San Juan, this gives you time to enjoy the scenery and […] the many small towns you pass through in get there. The resort had construction at its frontage area, but this was not at all an inconvenience or disruption during our stay. it was refreshing to learn that additional amenities are in progress for the resort. The front staff was exceptional, the restaurant staff was also great; even offering advice on great night spots in the surrounding towns. The room was huge. I wasn't expecting to have a room with so many amenities. This resort is definitely worth another visit when i am back in Rincon. Lisez la suite

To us the hotel room should not be called "Deluxe" if it has rust in the bath tub, stains in the mirror and the furniture is old, scratched and outdated. Also the ceiling was way dirty. The complete room is past due for a full renovation.The room, other than its location, was not what I was expecting at all. "DO NOT HAVE A LARGE PARTY HERE"
This hotel is overpriced and full of overpromises. I attended a wedding here and although the grounds were beautiful the operation of the hotel was awful. Our party was given a "special" room rate but most guests found cheaper deals on hotels.com and travelocity. Everyone in our party was scattered all over the hotel. The bar closed at 10-11pm and when […] the groom asked the bar tender to stay open he tried to shake him down for $200 in cash. We paid more for a "deluxe" room which was a complete joke - it looked just like the others. When we asked for more towels we were told "there are no more" - how does that happen. The Rincon Beach Resort was a wonderful, clean, and hospitable place to stay. The pool and beach were located within steps of all rooms. The staff was polite and helpful.
