The room was clean and nicely . It was very comfortable. We only stayed one night, but would have enjoyed a longer stay. The courtyard patios in the center of the buildings were quite charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our request of accommodations. There was a slight odor in the room, which seemed to be in the closet area. Service was fine. Furnishings a little rough around the edges. The pool is outdoors, but enclosed in a pleasant courtyard. Might want to skip the breakfast though, it was sparse.

Despite the fact that this hotel sat at the edge of a Big Lots parking lot, the inside of the hotel is quite quaint and charming. The room was off the pool-very noisy and no time limits. The shower had visible black mold on the wall/corner of the shower stall. Hotels.com booked the room and there were no vacancies. Should have left then!

I live in the Tucson Area and just needed a Lil vacation from home and this was perfect . The front desk people were so nice and helpful. Its very quiet there the pool is a perfect temp. No housekeeping banging on the door way before check out time. It was just what I needed

The room was clean nad neat. Not the newest decor but clean and non smoking. The gps took us right to the motel. The front desk was very freindly. Had a quest washer and dryer. The breakfast was lacking. The meat in the warming tray was all gone and the eggs were just about gone with no watching the counter or making any move to add more food.

The hotel is located on Tanque Verde close to Sabino Canyon road with plenty of restaurants, galleries and stores close by, some walking distance. The hotel had character. The courtyard area with the fountain would have been nice to use except it rained heavily during our stay. The pool area was small and attractive. Breakfast was very good, so was […] the coffee. We spent more time in the hotel room than we normally like which didn't have comfortable seating. It did have a table and office chair. This was an interesting stay and our 2nd at this location. There is something particularly charming about this hotel, perhaps it's the old Spanish feel with the fountains in the courtyards which all the rooms face. The landscape makes for a peaceful rest stop. The rooms seem to be very quiet. We were in the back where there is no street noise and very […] little disturbance from other guests. The front desk was helpful and courteous however the rooms were dark and unkept. Housekeeping made minimal effort all three nights we were there even after daily tipping and a written request. The coffee pot was clean but the grounds from the previous guest were left in the coffee maker. A coffee spill underneath the coffee maker was left on the counter for our entire stay despite my moving out the machine so it was very visible. The bathroom was very small and the shower curtain rod was broken so the floor was always wet. All in all, our visit was pleasant enough and the hotel has tremendous potential if someone would take the time to make some modest improvements and upkeep. Lisez la suite

Incredibly comfortable bed and bedding. Clean room. A bit of a drive from I-10, but worth the slight inconvenience. Incredible bargain. You will be hard pressed to find a better deal in Tucson. I stay here whenever I travel to Tucson.

I booked through Hotels.com. We were not asked about discount coupons or memberships, they did not honor any memberships when I went to pay because it was booked on-line. Hotels.com doesn't take memberships because they claim they offer the lowest rates. The hotel receptionist didn't advise about their Happy Hour so we missed it. the breakfast was not […] very good. We stayed two nights here and despite the fact that tbe location is on a busy street, we found it surprisingly Quiet. The staff was friendly, the breakfast hearty( a good variety of choices) and the mist well maintained pool and common areas we found on our 13 day trip Will stay there again

Definately not as the pictures portray. Pool was not clean and jacuzzi was worse! Towels in room were still damp,dusty and worn out lampshades. Courtyard was not attractive,again not as the pictures show! Pillows were small squares not even standard size. Dark and dreary rooms and courtyard.

The front desk staff was great and very helpful. I would cwertainly stay there again.

This hotel is a gem! Spotless and tastefully decorated rooms, friendly and pleasant service, and a bargain for the price. Go out of your way to stay here if you need a room in Tucson! You'll be glad you did.

Overall I would stay at this hotel again. One minor complaint, there was a pair of dirty socks left by a previous guest in the corner of the closet but the corner was dark and I didn't even notice them until my second day in the room so I can understand how it was missed. While the outside of the hotel appears to be a nondescript red brick building, the interior is charming and well designed. Rooms surround courtyards with xeriscape gardens and fountains, while the rooms are beautifully designed and kept interiors. It is within walking distance of a wonderful cafe, which is worth a visit too. My room had a high quality […] pillow top mattress with plenty of soft pillows. I was asleep within seconds and slept soundly through the night. This hotel is reasonably priced, and competitive with rooms I've stayed in that cost twice as much. We made reservations here based on price and its proximity to the specific part of Tucson we were going to and to say it was just what we needed after 14 hours on the road that day is an understatement. The hotel was clean and welcoming, the decor unique and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived during 'Happy Hour' and a $1 cup […] of a very serviceable white wine really hit the spot. There was a Panda Express just across the street so we didn't have to get in the car again for a reasonably healthy quick meal. The room was very clean and in great condition. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was ample with eggs, eggs with bacon, a variety of breads and bagels. cereals, yogurts, pancakes, waffles, juices and more. This hotel was very clean and affordable. Nice breakfast selection and friendly staff.

Was very pleased with the hotel. Location is kind of interesting as it in a shopping center. The place was nicely laid out and the staff we're great. I was surprised at the amount of food they offered for the breakfast. They also do a Happy Hour in the evenings but did not have a chance to partake. The room was nice, only complaint was the toilet had […] a slow leak (seems to be common in hotels) but closing the bathroom door block out that noise. The only reason I am giving a lower rating on maintenance is the landscape in the courtyards needed to be replaced. The Comfort Suites doesn't look like much from the outside - brick compound in a parking lot - but inside it was a pleasant surprise with pretty open air courtyards and small but comfortable rooms. The desk and internet access were acceptable. The staff and breakfast were nice.

the bed , the pillows, the location to good meals, shopping, the BREAKFAST,,, all outstanding for the money. The staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly, computer, with printer. the cool shaded areas, the sunny areas , they were all there for a very reasonable price thanks

The room was fine and the location okay but the motel itself needs a real refurbish. Pretty rough. And the continental breakfast didn't start until 7am - much too late for travelers. Also charged $25 to my card as a hold in case of incidentals but never told me. had to discover that online and call the front desk and inquire.

The hotel doesn't look so good from the outside - but don't let that fool you. Very charming once you get inside. Comfortable bed and nice quiet room. The only complaint is that the breakfast was pretty lame.

Staff were very helpful, informative and always cheerful. Our stay at Sabino Comfort Suites was comfortable. The morning breakfast was very good! Our only concern was the carpet in our room appeared to be quite dirty...it could use a deep cleaning.

What a great hotel. The bed linens were very comfy and the room had everything. It was slightly on the small side, but still plenty of room and everything well positioned. The courtyards were beautiful. Very pleasant stay. We will stay again anytime we're in the area!

Front desk guys were friendly and thoughtful. Their attitude was perfect. Room was clean and quiet. Only one concern was an air-conditioner was a bit noisy. Strongly reccomend this hotel.

the Hotel exceeded all our expectations. great value for very little price. clean cozy rooms, beautiful, very original building and great &safe location. very friendly staff. again at this price it was the best hotel I ve seen. Believe me I stayed in 100+ hotels in this price range.

I was very pleased with the hotel. It was charming. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was pretty standard but fine. I would definitely stay here again. The lobby was beautifully appointed and I enjoyed sitting there after breakfast with another cup of coffee. Very good value.

Hotel staff was friendly. Hotel exterior does not stand out but is rather subdued, almost blending in with the surrounding strip mall. Pool was small but maintained, pool area was secluded surrounded by trees and a wall, did not use the hot tub. Hotel needs to do something about the amount of bees in the pool area, too many bees, though they did not seem bother anyone. Room was nice, two beds, pull-out couch, small kitchen with small refrigerator, microwave, sink, counter, and table. Bathroom was split - sink area fine, toilet/shower room fine but could have used a bit of touch-up with wall putty or caulk. Our room had french doors which may have been left open before we occupied the room because floor by the doors was dirty and bed nearest to the doors had a few bugs in the sheets. We mentioned this to the front desk and the room was vacuumed and sheets were changed the following day. Overall the hotel had a simple charm to it but it could use some minor work. Lisez la suite

Old Hotel

I have stayed a couple of times at the Ramada directly across the street from Comfort Suites and decided to stay at Comfort Suites. Comfort Suites is such an improvement over Ramada it isn't even funny. I found that Comfort Suites rooms to be cleaner, better located for the safety of parking your vehicle, the breakfast was terrific. The only thing I […] would make sure about the next time I come is if the bed in my room has a firm mattress. Unfortunately I had back problems this trip and I wound up with a very soft bed in my room. If my mattress would have been firm I'd give this hotel a 'Tops In My Book' rating. Additionally everything costs so much now I found Comfort Suites to have a reasonable rate. I will definitely be back. Lisez la suite
