Hotel à deux pas de la plage. Chambre très agréable, avec cuisine et soin repas, grande salle de bain et belle chambre. Dommage que le wifi soit payant. Cet hotel possède un excellent rapport prix/prestations/emplacement.

Une jolie chambre simple, design, avec un poisson dans son bocal, un patio, des meubles pratiques (table à repasser, nombreuses serviettes). Le matelas n'était pas super confort, et attention hôtel bruyant (ils jouent au bingo au bord de la piscine jusqu'à minuit, pour les couche-tôts c'est pas l'idéal). Mais on se gare facilement dans les environs, même si le quartier n'est pas très intéressant (en voiture c'est pas très grave). Mais à 20 euros de plus qu'un motel traditionnel c'est quand même une belle affaire, et un lieu assez unique.

La "chambre" est en fait une vraie suite qui comporte un séjour, une cuisine équipée, un bar-table, un coin bureau, une chambre à coucher et une grande salle de bain. Le lit est un king size super confortable. Il y a aussi un balcon où on peut prendre un thé tranquillement. Le seul hic de la chambre, c'est que le bruit de la climatisation est incroyablement fort! Heureusement, on arrive en avril, pas besoin d'allumer la clim tout le temps. À propos du petit déjeuner, le choix est satisfaisant (il y a même du riz et des nouilles instantanés!), mais le service "œuf fait sur place" est disponible seulement dans la semaine.

Inadmissible de servir le petit-déjeuner dans de la vaisselle jetable : cela donne un goût éxécrable aux aliments et c'est 1 gaspillage énorme totalement anti-écologique et l'endroit est totalement déhumanisé

Super Hôtel, services et chambre impeccable, le petit déjeuner est très copieux et compris dans le prix de la chambre et le must des boissons chaudes et des fruits disponibles gratuitement au Desk H24. Je le recommande vivement.

I needed a break, needed to be close to the sea, and checking in on a cool Sunday evening, i was offered an upgrade. Balcony where you can hear the waves breaking, sea gulls and sea lions. The staff is superb, […] helpful, kind, knowledgable, gracious and very fair. The edge of the northern continent, swim right out the door of the hotel, palm trees green grass, the Pacific. Pillows were super comfy, my bed was fine, more closets than i could fill, beautiful view from rooftop breakfast, fast internet, wonderful pass to the La Jolla Sports Club classes and workout equip. Checked in for one night, chose 2 nights as i got my key, and stayed a 3rd night to breathe that sea air and smile at the staff and their friendly helpfullness. Headed back next month. Thankyou! "Wonderful View of Cove and Ocean"
Lots of room w/kitchen, storage & balcony. Walk to shopping and restaurants and along the beach. Breakfast is limited and no restaurant in hotel. We only had 1 night but would enjoy several days here. Hotel is older but clean and comfortable. Would love to return!
"Dont waste your time"
I was there only 20 minutes, it was enough to notice the urine smell on the hallways, the ruined state and the horrible rooms. However, they were nice enough to give us back the deposit of one day.

The La jolla Cove was not what was expected. There is no airconditioning in the rooms. The rooms are small and for the high end price we paid per night. For the price we paid expected something more than a small motel room. There are NO amenities. There are all of these taxes and fees added on to the price so it was way more than expected. There were […] no towels at the pool so we had to use our room towels. The shampoo and soaps we used the day before were not replaced in the morning. We got NO phone service in our room so we had to use the hotel phone and were charged. They said free internet but.. we couldn't use our droids at all in the room. If there had been an emergency at home we wouldn't have known until we left the hotel the next day.Noisy in the afternoon. It is old. Feels out of date when you get in. There are small kitchens which was cool, but no microwave. The toaster didn't work. It was clean. and it was nice to be across the street from the ocean but, I have stayed at way better places for less of a price near the beach. It was not a good experience and we will not go back!! We were looking for a romantic beach getaway close to where we wanted to do things without driving... Not romantic.. Lisez la suite

The hotel is rather old, but many ammenities have been added to make it current with a newer feel. Located within walking distance of shops and pet-friendly eateries, this hotel is amazingly less espensive than other hotels in the area. The staff members are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The pool and jacuzzi are located above and behind the hotel giving a very open feeling, and the Continental breakfasts are offered on the roof where you can enjoy delicious food and the amazing views of La Jolla's Cove and Shore. "The Cove Suites in :La Jolla"
The advantage of the hotel was only its location near the heartbreaking view of great landscape surronded by fantastic creek and sceneric nature. Unfortuantely, it was so frustrating to my family that checking-in time was so long and the kitchenett was not so clean and we hardly closed the window to prevent some insects from getting inside.
