Marriott's BeachPlace Towers - Fort Lauderdale

Everything was great except the elevator service was being worked on so the wait was absurd. That should get better. Otherwise a wonderful location and nice rooms.

Everyone was very accomodating-- professional and friendly staff. Clean facilities. Only downside was that during our stay, one of the elevators were down-- they don't let you extend your check out time of 10:00am, therefore at 10 am -- it seemed like everyone in the hotel was waiting and packing up the workign elevators. 20 minute wait to get down […] to the lobby. Right on the beach, friendliest staff I have ever seen, most competent staff I have ever seen. We had some special needs, and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. I would stay here again and again! The room darkening curtains are just that - total darkness (thanks to the valance at the top that includes a cornice!), the views are spectacular […] from every room, and the kitchen is fantastic. The washer/dryer was so convenient (right in the kitchen) and the surrounding neighborhood was filled with great stuff to do and places to eat within walking distance. We were actually here because of work being done on our house, so we had to get up and go to work every day, but we still felt like we were on vacation - thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The conditions of the hotels are good, overall, as well as the service. The only off thing was that it does not have a standard reception: you either have to drive 5 levels and be dropped off in the parking garage or go in through the service entrance and take the elevator to the 5th floor, which is where the reception area is. One bedroom villa was super, everything you wanted in a room. Location was great for beach, bars, and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

only complaint is that steam room did not work for 4 out of the 7 days i was there. everyone was friendly and very helpful to us. would highly recommend and would come back there in a heartbeat.

This is the lowest-end Marriott I've stayed in, (the rooms and look of the hotel are more in line with a Best Western) but you cannot beat the location. It is right in the mix of everything Fort Lauderdale Beach has to offer.

This hotel property is in a great location with the beach across the street and Cafe Del Mar (great spot) right next door. They have serious television reception issues though. The Direct TV was down 80% of the time during my five day stay. No catching up on the news or watching a ball game while getting ready to go out.

The location in beach place can't be beat if you have plans to go out in the area. The one bedroom suite it very large with a full kitchen balcony and bedroom. Plenty of room. Please note they do not have rooms with 2 double beds for the suites, only one bed plus sofa bed...this wasn't clear when reserving. Parking garage takes forever just to get up […] to P4 where you have to check in, is $14 day and then u have to go back out to the car to put a card on your dashboard so they don't tow. There is no room service and the front desk staff was slow and not really helpful. Lisez la suite

The employees at the hotel were very helpful and polite regarding all my needs or just interaction with them. The hotel was very clean and right in the center of all activities regarding the beach dining and entertainment. I would recommend this hotel to others.

It was a last minute booking because the Hilton where we had reservations was so bad we couldn’t stay even for the night. They were very rude and unwilling to help correct the issue. We called a friend had them pull up Hotels.com and look for a room for us. When we arrived at the Marriott we were taken aback by how beautiful it was and the room...Amazing. […] Very large and nicely decorated. Wonderful ocean view. Even though it was just a Staycation for us we thought we had left the country for the day. Thanks Hotels.com and Marriott You Saved Our Vacation! Convenient location, close to the beach and restaurants. We stayed in a 1 bedroom with full kitchen, living room and balcony with a lovely view of Fort Lauderdale. Loved the space and the location.

This is a timeshare so you always have to worry about those pesky people trying to sell you stuff but staff was overly friendly. Location may be hard to find if you don't know the area. What I liked best was because it is a time share we could invite friends from the area and host guests. If you plan on not going out to eat, it's nice to have a kitchen, […] however the nearest publix is a mile away but there is a CVS connected to the shopping area connected to the hotel. The only major problem I had was that the walls were kind of thin and we were able to hear guests in the other room and I constantly feared that we were being too loud because there were so many families staying there. The access to the hotel is through the attached parking lot, which is confusing. I witnesses folks having trouble figuring out the elevator and floor layout. The room was very nice, so that is a plus.

Great room at a reasonable price! The room was clean and updated, i like how there was a mini fridge, microwave and dishes and cups, i didnt have to eat out for every meal. Very secure building, close to everything. my only complaint is that the hotal did not provide free beach chairs to the guests.

The rooms are beautiful and the view is incredible but the only complaint I have is that it does not have enough elevators to service the number of guest staying at teh hotel. I often had to wait 5-10 minutes for an elevator only to have it be full by the time it opened for me so I would have to wait for the next one another 5-10 minutes.

Nice location close to beach and resturants. Check out time is early and they are at your door 5 minutes after check out time.

This hotel is in the perfect location. It is directly across the street from the beach and close to shopping, restaurants, La Olas Blvd, Swimmer's Hall of Fame and only a short 10-15min drive to Ft Lauderdale airport. The hotel room itself has beauftiful views and is large and very comfortable. It is decorated beautifully also. We stayed in the one […] bedroom suite. The bed in the master bedroom was one of the most incredible I've slept in. The bathroom is set up like a jack and jill style with one door leading from the master suite and one leading from the living area. It has two seperate vanities which is convenient with multiple people staying in one room. A couple things to keep in mind. Ft Lauderdale is a party town. There are obscene t-shirts on display in various store fronts and loud partying going on up and down the man AIA Blvd. If that is what your looking for then great. However, it can sometimes be inappropriate for children. The beach is beautiful and the water temperature was warm. You can walk right in. It is VERY humid this time of year also. Lisez la suite

We used this hotel as a place to stay prior to embarking on a cruise and its location, staff, and room cleanliness and view (what a view) clearly exceeded our expectations. The only drawback is you have to know where you are going (or hope your taxi driver knows, which ours did) when traversing the parking garage to get to the doorway to go to elevator […] to get to the lobby for the hotel itself. Sounds confusing the way I listed it above, trust me, it was that confusing!!, but we found it and all was great from that point on... Lisez la suite

I stayed in a two room villa. The room exceed my expectations. It was clean, modern, great view, and had all the bells and whistles. The only complaint i have was it is difficult to find the entrance to the hotel.

Our stay at Marriott's BeachPlace Towers on Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida, was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, the view of the beach was ideal. The service was excellent! The ONLY negative was parking. One must park on the 4th or 5th floor of a parking deck to get into the hotel and a cost of $14 a day should of been included in the cost of the hotel […] room. The Market Place within the hotel was convenient. Every staff member had excellent guest relation skills. I look forward to staying at the Marriott BeachPlace Towers again! Lisez la suite

leider ist die zufahrt zum Hotel nicht auf anhib zu finden. Auch fehlen Schilder mit einer Zufahrt zum hotel. Wenn man es dann gefunden hat klaptt alles reibungslos. Toller Service, schöne und saubere zimmer..

Beach Place er et meget bra hotel. Perfekt beliggende til det du trenger av restauranter og natteliv. Stor dagligvarebutikk rett ved. Store rom, bra renhold, hyggelig personale. Treningsrommet var OK, litt gamle vektapparat, men moderne tredemøller. Bassenget var lite og virket litt møkkete.. Mye mennesker ved bassenget hele tiden. Total vurdering; […] kommer gjerne tilbake. Stor fin leilighet (villa). Flott beliggende rett ved stranden. Godt trådløst nett. Fullt utstyrt leilighet. Hyggelig personale. Gode parkeringsforhold. Anbefales!!!

fue mi segunda vez en el hotel y volveria a ir. salvo la atencion del front desk que no fue muy buena, el resto estuvo espectacuar. los deptos son amplisimos y comodos, la vista al mar excelente y el jacuzzi en la habitacion, soberbio
