Wyndham Ocean Walk - Daytona Beach

location d'une suite trés grande pour 6 personnes pendant la bike week harley ,super emplacement, propre, possibilité de faire sa cuisine et de loger 2 personnes sup sur un grand sofa dans le salon. 2 salles de bain dont une avec spa.

Très bien! bon rapport qualité prix. Propre bien placé avec accès directe sur la plage. Près de Main street, grand parking personnel sympathique. les chambres "suites" sont mieux équipés que la plupart de nos logements, rien ne manque! Je recommande cet hôtel.

My stay in this hotel was ok. I liked the location close to the ocean and the swiming pool. The room provided most of facilities but I didn't like the fact that the room didn't have any window or balcony. I stayed three nights in this hotel and our room was never cleaned and our bed sheets or towels were never changed. The shower was an old style with […] limitted amount of water. The hotel and the outdoor pool was very satisfying with the family. The kids loved the water slide and the lazy pool. Satisfied overall.

We were extremely disappointed in this hotel! We booked a 1 bedroom suite and the room was extremely small. There were 2 adults and (1) 5 year old child in the room. The kitchen was supposed to be fully equipped however half the pans and dishes were missing. We had a broken coffee maker in the room and called to request a replacement however they never […] brought one. We were given 4 beach/pool towels to use for our 4 days at the hotel and were expected to wash them in our washers in the rooms ourselves, as we were told those would be the only 4 towels we would receive. The handle door on the dryer was broken and we almost cut our fingers trying to put those towels in the dryer. The bathroom sink was clogged and water would not flow. The overall appearance of the room was VERY dated and old looking, we had older TV's a very worn out sleeper sofa, no stereo in the room as listed in the amenities. The hair dryer in the bathroom also did not work, so if you are planning on staying here, bring your own! We had previously stayed at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek in Orlando which was the most amazing place, so we would have thought this Wyndham would have lived up to that name, what a HUGE disappointment! Loved the pools outside. They not only had activities outside but DJ inside with karaoke on the weekend. Excellent location with local shops and restaurant . Only bad thing about the stay was the 10am check out.

This hotel was very nice and very kid friendly. Our room was nice but housekeeping could have been alittle better. We had requested a 1 bedroom with King Bed but got 1 bedroom with 2 double beds. Which actually ended up working out well because we opened the hide-a-bed in the living room and the smell of urine was so terrible we didn't even get it all […] the way open before we were shutting it. So it was a good thing we had an extra bed for the kids to sleep on. My husband was suppose to let them know about that when we checked out, but not sure if he remembered. The pools were very nice and the kids loved the lazy river. There are a lot of chairs around the pool, but the hotel is so big there is just not enough so you have to either get there early or just keep your eyes open for people leaving. The location was terrific, we never drove anywhere for the 3 days we were there. You can walk down the boardwalk to find restaurants and lots of shops. The beach was wonderful as well. Wished we could have stayed another day or two. They will try to sell you a timeshare though, we did not go to the presentation because we were not interested in buying one. But they will call you every morning around 930-945 to remind you to come down. We just never answered the phone. :) Overall, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Lisez la suite

The Wyndham property was very nice, I felt safe letting my teenage girls (15) walk around the premises on their own. I did not want them on the streets out front after dark, the town has a less desireable feeling to it. The Wyndhan has security and does a good job keeping the less desirable out. The price of the Hotel seems to ensure that respectable […] people are the guests. The Beach area in front of the Hotel is nice as well, it is kept clean and is very accessible. Unfortunately, there is not much they Wyndham can do about it’s surroundings and the other local businesses. Also they will hit you up to do the Timeshare presentation, the one where they promise they will not pressure you and then when you say “No” they act like you are an imbecile ;) If you are going to Daytona, I would recommend this as one nicer places to stay, oh yeah, the pull out couch was in the worst condition I have ever witnessed, I should have called and asked for a new one. WE HAD BAD EXPERIENCE . THE ROOM HAS A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH APPLIANCES NOT WORKING. THERE WAS NO BEACH TOWELS, AND WHEN WE DID GET TOWELS WE WERE TOLD WE HAD TO KEEP THEM FOR THE WHOLE WEEK AND WASH THEM AS NEEDED(2-3 TIMES DAILY). THE SAME THING FOR THE BATH TOWELS, THIS WAS VERY INCONVENIENT. . THE GUEST SERVICE SUPERVISOR TRIED HIS BEST TO HELP, […] AND TO EASE ALL THE PROBLEMS. Can't go wrong with the Wyndham Oceanwalk! Beautiful Beach Resort, Nice Rooms, Great Location, Lots to do, Great Price. You won't be disapointed. Stayed in a 2 bed / 2 bath North Tower Condo Oceanfront Deluxe on 21 floor (breathtaking views!!!) My only gripe is the Mattresses could have been better. My family will be back this Summer!

I took my son and his girlfriend to the Ocean Walk in Daytona beach on our way to a wedding in FL. We stayed for 2 nights at the Ocean Walk. First of all, upon checking in, when the staff there find out you are NOT interested in spending your vacation time listening to a "sales pitch" on buying an Ocean Walk Condo - a customer is cut off and sent packing. […] Questions, after that, were answered curt and in a flip fashion. So, after that we headed to our room. While beautiful in that the ocean is steps away, the room was VERY dated, VERY in need of updating, repair and cleaning. Furniture was dirty and torn. Many stains on carpet, big black marks and dents in walls. The pull out sofa-bed was horrible and had been used and abused for years and years I can only summize. Bedroom was a fine size, bathroom was nice - fairly clean. Air conditioner did not work well at all - luckily we had the screen door open and weather was beautiful. Luckily, due to the locale...you are never in your room. Location was perfect - especially for children or young adults. Pool area was nice, however, I claimed a lounge chair in the morning by placing my towel on it with sunscreen. I went for a quick swim, ran to the room for coffee and came down to NO towel and NO chair. I asked security, which were PLENTIFUL, and they stated that my towel "had timed itself out" and had been turned into the sun-security office. I had to then go to this office, describe my towel and bottle of sunscreen to the sun-security officer prior to receiving it back. There were then NO chairs available for use. The pool area fills up immediately upon opening at 8:15 so go early. Don't plan on saving chairs, however, as they are policed and timed. Kind of a pain - this hotel / condo complex has many rules, many security watching...good for some situations and not for others. Beautiful hotel grounds, great pool & beach access. We had an efficiency & didn't know we would have house keeping, so we had t keep calling for towels. Nice Tiki bar but over priced. Overall nice hotel.

Lovely hotel but didn't reallize from that it is a timeshare rental. Did not have housecleaning services for the week we were there. Had to dump our own garbage. My husband got in a day early, very late in the evening and got a phonecall early the next morning informing him quite rudely that he had missed the meeting that I had signed us up for. I did […] not sign us up for any meeting and we weren't even supposed to be there until the following morning. We did go through the presentation and even invested so we will of course stay again and this time we will be prepared for what it has to offer. If you like Daytona, this is the place to stay. The only problem is it's also a time share, so the management is only concerned about selling you a time share. The rooms are very nice but they don't provide maid service. It's lame that you have to clean you own room and laundry for the high prices/night. It has good security to keep the beach bums out. […] I wouldn't walk around Daytona at night anyway, all you get is "hey brother can you spare a dollar?". Lisez la suite

This Hotel is nice. But we had two studio rooms and did not know that they didn't come with maid service. Every room needs maid service. that's why you go on vacation. If I'm paying for a hotel room i expect it to be cleaned.

Very nice stay and will be back next year. my only sugestion to the hotel is the water in the shower was not hot enough first thing in the morning if you shower before 6:30. Also I really expect to get wireless in the room these days. I could not even pay for it.

This is not really a hotel but a vacation rental. The rooms are clean, mine was small but serviceable, and not attended to daily, so you have privacy but no daily cleanup. The building has food services, good attendant and pleasant staff and a desire to sell you a condo, but they are not too aggressive about it. The pool and exercise facilities are […] very nice. Beach lovers dream! Close to alot of fun activities, only complaint was, two days into our stay, they shut down one of the pools for repainting and repair, made getting around a bit difficult. A lot of great food available close by, if you're into fresh seafood, either to cook yourself or order off the menu, you can't beat Hull's iear Ormand Beach.

I stayed at Wyndham Ocean Walk with my family.When we got there the check in took 2 hours and a half.We were frustrated,not happy at all with the front desk people.The room that we made the reservation online was not the room that we thought when we got there.They show you different pictures in the computer,than when you get there they tell you oh is […] not that room that you booked,if you want that room you have to pay more.They ripped us of.The chairs at the pool were not enough for all the people staying at the hotel.The hotel was nice and in a convenient location. The pool area was wonderful, as were the lobby and security staff. The room was a little strange, and the air conditioning woke us up every time it kicked on (way too loud). The front desk clerks were very snobby, and we got the feeling that if we had agreed to the timeshare sales appointment, we would have access to the other eight people behind the […] welcome counter - instead, there was one (very nice) girl and a long line for those of us just interested in staying a few days rather than a 20 year commitment... Knowing we were staying in a Luxury hotel my expectations may have been a little high. We arrived at the hotel at 3:45 PM. Check in was at 4:00PM and they wouldn’t give us the key to the room. They sent me over to the welcome desk and they said come back at 5:00. We were stuck on the curb because you need a key to get into the garage. The guys would […] have let us in the garage but we didn’t know our room or even which garage we needed to go into. Wait in another long line then finally get room key. Make it to the room and find a Hole in the dry wall by the entry door, the screen door was off the track for the patio, a leg was broke off the outside table and lastly had to put together the coffee pot so we could have coffee. Parts that were apart that should not have been ever taken apart. We reported the facts to the hotel. The lazy river was a battle zone. So many kids trying to go as fast as they can. I had to stop one child from continuing to hit my wife. Kids spitting off the 22nd floor into the outside pool area. The amount of trash in the pool area was horrible. Have full cups with cigarette butts in them. And lastly the treatment by the staff. I was at the front desk with my family asking for directions to the nearest ATM located in the hotel. A manager with a booming voice repeatedly kept calling for the clerk helping us that he had to stop answering our question. I informed the clerk to inform that manager that we are customers. Customer satisfaction did not appear to be on the agenda the week we were there. We actually scheduled to see the presentation on the time share. We cancelled due to the condition of the room and the treatment of management . If they cannot handle the rentals, the time share I figured it would be worse. Will never go back to this hotel. the hotel was very nice but everyday at 8 o'clock in the morning when the doors open everybody runs down to the lounge chairs and puts their towels on it to claim them. Then they go out for breakfast and lunch and come back later to reclaim,in the meantime everybody else has to stand or just sit around on the ground.security needs to step up and stop […] that. people then argue about who gets to sit where. We requested (three times) to be in the same tower as our traveling family & friends and this was not honored. Also, our room in the South tower reeked of cigarette smoke during our entire v isit. After addressing this to the desk, we were told there is nothing they could do as the building is 80% owner occupied and they can basically do whatever they […] wish. We had to enter the room smelling smoke, go to sleep smelling smoke, eat and shower smelling smoke! Very disgusting. Also, the room has absolutely no carpeting and the floor was always feeling gritty with sand. The beach and boardwalk were very nice. But the pool deck was a joke, like Black Friday every morning with people stampeding to the chairs to throw towels on them and come back hours later after breakfast. Overall, way too many people and not nearly enough workers to serve us. We will not return. Lisez la suite

This hotel is just wonderful. There were only a coupld of problems. The elevators are not very efficient for this size of a building. There is also not enough seating by the pool. There is space to add additional seating but the hotel needs to actually invest in this seating. Otherwise I had a great experience.

The location and room was fantastic!!! The hotel employees were accommodating and friendly. Once we didn't have hot water and are room was never cleaned. Not that we cared as we were on the beach the whole time. That being said we had a great time and would suggest this hotel to anyone considering the Daytona Beach vacation!!!

The resort was great and the only small complaint would be to install hooks in the bathroom to hang your wet towels on after showing, other than that we loved this place. One word of advise. If you plan on swimming in the pools and you want a chair to lay on then proper preparation on your part is required. Below is the ideal action plan: 1) Coordinate […] with your family from your balcony the night before what area of the pool you would all like to sit at the following morning. 2) Get a good night sleep and whatever you do don't forget to set your alarm for 7:00 a.m. before you go to bed so you'll have ample time to get down and get a good place in line at the pool chains. (The pool closes at midnight and chains are put up to close off the pool area) 3) At 7:00 a.m. turn off the alarm and get dressed. Don't press the snooze bottom. Don't worry about eating breakfast or brushing your teeth at this point. (explained further in #7) 4) Put on your good running shoes (explained further in #5) and quickly head down to the pool. 5) Around 8:00 a.m. the pool chains come down and (here's where the good running shoes come in handy) it's off to the races as you sprint to the area of the pool you and your family agreed upon the night before from your balcony. 6) Once you've reached your agreed upon location and reserved your precious pool chairs with your towels, books and bottles of sun tan lotion, you can pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Mission accomplished! 7) Now that you've reserved your precious pool chairs for the day it's the perfect time for you and your family to go brush your teeth or eat that breakfast that you skipped in step #3 or perhaps shopping or a movie next store. Don't worry about the fact that other people may have wanted the use of a chair while they were actually there swimming, as long as you know that when you and your family return several hours later your precious pool chairs will be there waiting for you selfish idiots. Hotel is very convenient and in the heart of Daytona Beach. There is no maid service during the stay. The two bedroom units are much nicer and roomier than the one bedroom. Since it was a holiday weekend, the check in line was extremely long and the elevator line was always long.Parking is tight.

You can't bit the amenities in Daytona. 3 outdoor pools, 2 indoor pools, regularly scheduled kid's activities,

needs a better aproch then to want people to give forth to munch info just to see what was being offered

parking can be an issue at peak times and elevators are very busy during check in times everything else about our stay was perfect, excellent place to stay, will definately be coming back again soon. The Hotel itself was fine, the customer service at the hotel was horrible, and unprofessional. It was so bad that nobody in my party had a relaxing weekend. The pool area was beautiful, however was far from accomidating to the amount of guests that stayed at the hotel.

The check in was good and they were very friendly. The security was also very nice. However, their was more staff located at the counter to give welcome packages. there also was no welcome package other than the 2 page information on the hotels. And to have to go to the fourth floor for what we thought was coupons and was nothing other than time share […] info. that I was not interested in was ridiculous. Going on vacation should not be all those steps and a simple check in by the hotel staff would be sufficient enough for me. Enjoyed a nice 2 bed condo on 20th floor. What a view! Hotel customer service was wonderful and had a great time celebrating family graduations where we could simply walk across the street to ceremony and walk back and relax!

The only problem we had was that we had booked a room with a king sized bed. But when we got to the room we find two twin beds. Informed the front desk but they were unable to change rooms and did not offer any type of reimbursent. Other than that the hotel stay was great. Very convenient location neir the boardwalk with dining and shopping close to […] hand. Woke up every moning with the sounds of the ocean. Excited about the Easter weekend and spending some much needed family time with my family I booked a two night stay at the Wyndham, got there and checkin was ok, got to the room changedand went to the pool,then to dinner and then came relaxing time and the pull out bed was so uncomfortable, the floor felt better and then the tv did not work, my kids […] are 5 and 12 they were bored and wanted to watch tv. we did not stay two nights as booked we left the next day, spending money to stay at an upscale hotel and having to sleep on the floor another night was not my idea of a vacation. We stayed in a two bedroom style room and the hotel was perfect for a large family. The pool deck was small and full so we spent our days on the beautiful beach.
