Nous avons passé 5 jours agréables dans cet hôtel, très bien situé par rapport aux sites touristiques et aux transports en commun; personnel agréable, francophone pour certains. Chambres bien équipées et bien insonorisées. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'a pas d'intérêt (triste et menu pauvre) mais le quartier regorge de pizzerias et autres trattorias

Les chambres ont été rénovées et sont confortables et propres. Le petit-déjeuner est correct, mais sans plus. La vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel a l'accueil parle français.

"très bon hotel 4 étoiles"

Hotel plus que symphatique!!! Tres proche du centre de rome, de la place du Peuple de la villa Borghese grace au Tram qui passe assez souvent et qui est a 200m de l'hotel. Il y a 3-4 petits resto tres symphatique a proximité. Personel aimable et serviable, par contre personne ne parle français. Les chambres ont le confort minimum mais sont tres propre […] et avec la clim. Parfait pour un couple d'amoureux ou avec un enfant comme nouys en bas age. L'hôtel est très bien. Bon accueil, personnel à l'écoute et réservation du taxi pour le retour parfait. Un bémol : il faut le savoir : 1.la situation de l'hotel est mal renseignée sur mappy.2.la seule ligne qui dessert l'hotel est celle du tramway ligne 2 qui ne fonctionne que jusqu'à 23H je crois...après ce sont vos pieds (environ 2 kms de la place […] del popolo) ou le taxi ! Plusieurs problèmes néanmoins, toujours pour un hôtel de cette catégorie: 1) Pas de Wi-Fi gratuit et même en payant, il ne fonctionne pas correctement! 2) Assez loin du centre historique (comptez 1 heure à pied), à ne conseiller donc que pour les familles […] et 3) De manière anecdotique, la salle pour le petit-déj (moyen) sans fenêtres. This hotel is good: very quiet, 3 stops in tramway from Flaminio metro station. You are close to the Museo de Villa Giulia (very nice villa and etruscan museum), the bridge Ponte Milvio (roman bridge from the 1st century b.c) and not to far by tramway and by foot from the biggest catacomb of Rome (Catacombe di San Priscillia), a very interesting early […] christian catacomb (painting from the third century a.d). Un hôtel charmant très accueillant et calme se situant au Nord du centre touristique. Le fait que l'hôtel ne se situe pas dans le centre ville n'est pas un handicap, un Tramway est à une centaine de mètre de l'hôtel et vous amène en 5 minutes dans le Nord du centre ville. Pas de ménage avant 9h30 svp il faudrait placé ceux qui viennent pour un long séjour d'être mis au 2ème étage, sinon cela manque de sonorisation, la salle de bain un peu petite, par contre tout est nikel, les serveurs, femme de ménage bien habillé (4 étoiles sans doute) pas de crainte non plus le ptit dèj est copieux les gâteaux excellents alors pas […] de gaspillage svp. "terrible location if driving a rental car"
DO NOT DRIVE RENTAL CAR IN THIS AREA!! The streets are so narrow, many one-way, you might have to fight tickets because it's a restricted area (although tourists are allowed to drive there, tickets are automatically sent to all license plates). Did over 400E worth of damage to rental car trying to get to the hotel. Arrived after 2am and the man was […] very nice and even parked our car for us and took us to our room. The hotel is situation just 2 mins walk from the T2 tram station which in turn is 4 stops from the Flaminio Station and the tram was quite frequent. This was very convenient to getting to the various places. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the rooms were quite spacious. The bathrooms were adequately equipped and very clean. We stayed […] there for 4 nights and there was room service every day though the sheets were changed only one day...i gues that would be the norm.The breakfast was included, it was good but not a proper continental as you would expect. This hotel is a lovely quiet retreat yet only a very short tram from Piazza del Popolo. If you are staying on business or for a very short trip the restaurants and bars around are great quality so no need to go central if you do not have time. But you are 10 mins from via del Corso etc. As some of the reviews have stated, the rooms are very small and […] so is the elevator. But first of all, everything is there that you need, decor and furniture of high quality and neatly arranged and how much time do you spend in the room anyway? Many. many hotel rooms in e.g. Amsterdam and Paris are considerably smaller so do not let this put you off. Wifi is free, but the only irritating thing is that the lower-floor rooms' reception to wifi is poor and in my case non-existent so I had to go to reception to use wifi. For what we paid for this hotel and what we were reading about hotels in Italy we were not expecting much and were pleasantly surprised. The room was more like what I expect form an american hotel but not quite as big. Very well kept and fancy. It is not in the center of rome but it is really easy to get to and not far at all. The hotel gives directions on arriving via monorail note that they do not announce the stops on the monorail so it is the first stop after the monorail turns. We spent three nights at Hotel Villa Glori. Overall it was fine and almost worth it's stars. Although beds were extremely hard and there was no help for that even if I asked. The hotel is situated a couple of kilometres away from city center but for us it was okay. It was easy to reach the city with a tram + metros and due to it's quiet neighbourhood […] we heard no sound of traffic etc. The area had also good + priceworthy restaurants/pizzerias which were growded with locals - nice! I love how it's close by to the trams. Easy to reach the Metro station to get around the city. The rooms are small though. The elevator is so tiny we can barely fit our luggages in there. And on the day we're supposed to check out, the elevator died so we have to carry all our stuff from the stairs. The walls are thin and we can hear someone yelling […] and singing outside (we think it was someone who works there) There are also tiny stairs separating our room from the corridor which is weird. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and polite. Close enough to walk to all the main attractions (spanish steps vatacian city etc). The hotel is conveniently located near the Flaminio tram line, a kilometer from Plaza di Popolo. It is clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast buffet. There is a charge for wifi, but it is surprisingly well priced with a strong signal suitable for voice or video. There are a few restaurants nearby, but tourists from America or Asia may be surprised […] by the extent to which Rome shuts down during the summer months. On a weekend in August, there are few restaurants open within walking distance and no laundromats or convenience stores. The only downside to the hotel's comfort is that the rooms don't block out noise from the hallway, so light sleepers might be awakened by other guests outside the room, particularly in the early morning. The hotel was really nice and our room was beautiful! The location is in the midst of the Roman suburbs. It is not near any of any of the tourist attractions so I wouldn't suggest it for tourists. I was traveling with my fiance who is italian and have been to Rome a few times as well so we were both comfortable using public transportation. The train […] stop was covenient but you did have to ride the train to the metro station and then switch to be able to get on any of the tourist tracks.
