Nous sommes restés 1 nuit en attendant notre retour le lendemain matin sur Tahiti. Hôtel très correct et très bon rapport qualité-prix avec le buffet du petit dej (famille 2+2). Nous y reviendrons.

L’hôtel est particulièrement bien situé,nous avions un appartement au dernier étage avec vue sur la Sky Tower. L'appartement était agréable et le ménage fait tous les jours , les serviettes changées tous les jours. Mais il ne fallait pas regarder de trop près! Personnel agréable et sympathique mais qui ne règle pas les petits soucis rencontrés:pas de télécommande pour le lecteur DVD ,pas d'étendoir pour le linge que je ne souhaitais pas mettre au sèche linge, pas d'éponge pour la vaisselle et le nettoyage de la table. Sinon hôtel calme et agréable et près du centre ville à pied.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix, proche de tous les sites touristiques du centre d'auckland, chambre spacieuse, très comfortable et très propre. Literie impeccable et très comfortable. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Au cœur de Auckland, l'établissement Scenic Hotel Auckland se trouve à quelques pas des sites Aotea Square et Auckland City Hall. Les sites Sky Tower et University of Auckland se trouvent également à proximité.

Le personnel était à l'écoute et près à aider. Le bus pour l'aéroport est situé à la porte de l'hôtel. Nous gardons un bon souvenir des 3 nuits passées dans cet hôtel.

Good central location. Comfortable clean room. Didn't need a licence to operate TV. Noise from adjacent construction site may bother some people, although it shuts down at end of working day. Quality of food at on-site cafe a bit disappointing. Where was the complimentary newspaper?

Would pick another hotel next time we are in Auckland, hotel very noisey at night. Bathroom had been cleaned but smelt nasty. Reception staff very helpful.
"Nice place to stay"
I stayed here for almost a week while on vacation and the staff were really great. Everyone there was really nice and they bent over backwards to assist you with everything. The hotel is a little far from the docks but not too bad. There are a lot of good food places and bars nearby too. I would stay there again.

"The rooms are nice"
We were worried when we got to the hotel because the hotel lobby is outdated and the hall smelled like stale smoke. But, we were pleased with our room. The smell did not carry over, the room was big, clean and comfortable.

"Value hotel Scenic"
I lived in Scenic Hotel for three days for my business trip, what surprised me, they give me a service apartment , and the bed is very soft. The location of Scenic is prefect in CBD, and considering the price and value, I would like stay in Scenic again, Cheers.

Love this hotel! Some of the rooms, due to building configuration, are arranged a bit odd, but other than that, the service is great and the quality of the rooms are excellent. Cafe downstairs also good. The only thing that would make this place more perfect would be to have free wi-fi. Will definitely stay here next time I visit Auckland.

"Scenic Hotel Auckland - Convenient & Affordable"
Only down-side to this hotel is the city noise and the closet doors closing in the queen bedroom. Noise was easily blocked out by closing the windows and heavy drapes. Liked that the windows opened and the room was air conditioned. Great centralized location within walking distance to most everything one would need.

No complaints about the hotel. The staff are friendly and professional, the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. In general it's actually a very good hotel. The only problem I had was noise from the street at night. Being on Queen street it's noisy for most of the night. Even ear plugs couldn't block out all the noise. This was an older hotel in downtown Auckland. There was a $20/day fee for parking - they valeted your car somewhere off-site (not sure how far that meant). Staff/service were great. We really didn't use any of their facilities other than for sleeping and a quick croissant in the morning on the way out. Scenic is well-named, and at a great location. Our room rate was very good for what we got (suite with twin bed in living room, double bed in separate room, kitchenette, spacious bathroom, view from living room window). The beds were too soft, and it was like sleeping on a large marshmallow. Due to the location, we decided to stay another night, and […] the rate more than doubled - and we couldn't book it online as the hotel was, "full" according to the front desk woman from a Slavic country. She was NOT smiling nor pleasant - a VERY different reception from the accommodating one we received upon check in! "The Scenic Hotel in Auckland - Worth a stay!"
A very good hotel, very conveniently placed in the centre of Queen St, Auckland. Within walking distance to most of the attractions (and restaurants) of Auckland. The only "annoyance" is that for the Queens St-facing rooms, the traffic noise can be relatively high. Ask for a room on the other side of the hotel!
