Les atouts de l'hotel: un emplacement parfait pour du tourisme, juste à côté de la gare Termini, chambre assez spacieuse et terrasse sur le toit de l'hotel. Les déceptions: le jaccuzzi n'est pas en service même quand il fait 27°C et est minuscule (2 pers maxi), le service bar à la terrasse est décevant (aucun choix et très cher pour ce que c'est). Pour Rome, bon rapport qualité prix même si pour un 4 étoiles, on pourrait attendre plus (c'est davantage un 3 étoiles)

Le séjour a été très agréable, pour des chambres modernes. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, et le personnel très serviable. L'hotel est bien situé à proximité du métro.

L'hotel est plutot bien place a cote de Termini et a proximite du metro A et B, donc access direct au Colisé ou au Vatican. L'hotel n'est pas de premiere jeunesse mais reste confortable. Les chambres ne sont pas tres grandes mais restent habitables. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas lors de notre passage car trop tot dans la saison. Niveau bruit ca reste acceptable, la rue n'est pas trop passante. Le petit dejeuner est de moyen, le cafe n'est pas tres italien mais ca reste acceptable. Pour le prix de la chambre, ca reste une bonne adresse.

Nous gardons une très bonne impression de ce séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillies. L'hotel est bien placé, pas très loin du centre ville et des transports en commun. Cadre très agréable.

Séjour avril 2012 avec bébé de 1,5 ans (suite avec 1 chambre). Chambre propre et confortable, design intéressant. Hôtel et quartier très calmes, chambres en retrait de la rue et jardin très agréable à l'ombre des arbres. Chambre assez sombre, qui nécessitait d'allumer la lumière même le jour, donc plutôt un hôtel pour un séjour estival. Wifi gratuit, mais connexion assez lente. Petit déjeuner très bon, même si l'on peut regretter le manque de plats chauds. Quelques améliorations possibles: le personnel ne nous a parlé que du métro, à 10-15min de marche, alors qu'il existe d'autres solutions notamment le bus 628 au coin de la rue qui dessert plusieurs points touristiques très intéressants. De manière générale le personnel offre peu d'informations touristiques. L'emplacement n'est pas le plus central, mais c'est le prix à payer pour le calme. Prévoir entre 1/2h et 1h de temps d'approche total pour le centre touristique. Attention cet hôtel est catégorisé comme appart hôtel mais nous l'avons trouvé plutôt mal adapté à cet usage: pas de four ou de micro-onde, très peu d'ustensiles de cuisine, meubles pas toujours pratiques, etc. C'est une cuisine d'appoint pour des clients qui mangeront la plupart de leurs repas en ville. C'est pourquoi nous ne le recommandons pas forcément pour des familles, même si les enfants seront très bien reçus et que le personnel est très sympathique, attentif et serviable. Globalement l'impression générale reste très positive et agréable.
Situation
A Rome, cet hôtel en liaison directe avec le centre des congrès qui porte le nom de Grand Hotel Tiberio est très pratique pour les familles et se trouve tout près des sites suivants : Jardins du Vatican, Basilique Saint-Pierre et Chapelle Sixtine. Les sites Stadio Olimpico et Musée du Vatican se trouvent également à proximité.

Plus petit état du monde, la cité du Vatican est dominée par la basilique Saint-Pierre, la plus grande église de la chrétienté. La superbe Pietà de Michel-Ange et ses fresques ornant le plafond de la chapelle Sixtine comptent parmi les plus belles œuvres d'art au monde. Le quartier Aurelio doit son nom à l'ancienne Via Aurelia, l'artère principale qui reliait Rome à l'Espagne. Il est bien situé, à proximité des sites de la ville.

"Hotel Tiberio"
Bon confort, bonne tenue, service efficace mais peu aimable: on aurait aimé plus de chaleur ! L'accès à pied est déconseillé aux personnes à marche difficile car du métro à l'hôtel il y a une montée de 900 mètres pénible ! La navette de l'hôtel peu fréquente et gratuite ne remonte de ville qu'un fois à 18h et ne contient que 8 places. Petit déjeuner […] buffet bien garni. Merci de mettre dans les chambres le plan d'évacuation. Une mauvaise surprise au départ: alors que nous avions payé la totalité du séjour, il nous a été reclamé 3 euros par personne et par jour pour une taxe locale dont on ne nous avait pas donné connaissance ! "un hotel bien tenu et plutôt bien placé"
Nous y avons passé 3 nuits pour les vacances de la Toussaint en famille avec 2 enfants ados et la chambre était très spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est très bien - large choix de petits pains, oeufs etc.... L'hotel se trouve à 10min de marche pour la station de métro Ciprio qui désert le centre de Rome. Hotel vraiment à conseiller!!
Bon établissement, mais par de metro a proximite
hôtel bien placé car à proximité d'une ligne de bus désservant ligne A du métro. restauration un peu faible pour le standing de l'hotel, mais chambres propres et personnel discret. prix compétitif par rapport à des hotels de même catégorie (et la petite piscine en prime ce qui est agréable dans une ville où il fait chaud !).

"parfait hormis la situation"
L'hôtel est parfait : luxueux, confortable, grande chambre, salle de bain super, service impeccable resto bon... bref tout est super, hormis la situation un peu éloignée. Il y a des navettes de bus gratuites avec 2 arrêts à dispo. Nous avons tout fait à pieds car nous aimons marcher (St Pierre à 25 minutes, Centre à 45 min/1h). Pour le Colisée/Palatin, […] privilégier le métro (rapide et frais pour 1 € !) Le quartier autour de l'hôtel n'a rien. "Grand hôtel Tiberio : Un séjour de rêve !!!"
Un hôtel formidable !!!! Un personnel exceptionnel de gentillesse, avec une connaissance formidable de la ville. La piscine est vraiment formidable dans un cadre exceptionnel de calme Cet hôtel est proche du Vatican, du centre grâce au bus et au métro tout proche. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable en famille (couple avec un enfant de 6 ans)

"Terrible internet wi-fi service"
I have stayed at this hotel before and was very disappointed that the wonderful and friendly service that I received during my previous stay was no longer there. The hotel is alright but I would not give it a 4 star rating.

1: The receptionist wiped my iPhone trying to connect it to their wi-fi. I lost everyhting; contacts, emails, apps, photos, music. Some I can't replace ever again; 2: The breakfast was not 4 star: coffee and "juice" from a machine (not fresh), eggs from a liquid (again not fresh), poor quality meats, and a service which was rushed and unfriendly; 3: […] The driver from the hotel was rude. He drove aggressively, argued and shouted at other road users, complained when we asked to go to the final scheduled stop, and leaped out of the minibus before it had stopped; 4: The location is terrible. It's a good 30 minute walk to the Vatican, and miles from the ancient city. There are no restaurants nearby, so you are stuck using the hotel's own restaurant; 5. We stayed in Rome 5 nights and the hotel is in a residential area about 20 minute walk from the Vatican. The hotel had a shuttle that would drop you off at the vatican or near city center. There was also a city bus stop at the corner that was easy to take as well. Breakfast was more than adequate for us. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Granted breakfast was free, we had dinner there on one night of our stay and the food was pricey and not the least bit tasty. A nice hotel, the staff was good the food was good. We had a problem with our shower and when the staff was notified the problem was solved when we arrived back at the hotel. No nightlife in the area. Hard to find any bars, or clubs within walking distance after 2100 hrs. A long way from any sights, they do have a shuttle which helps.

We recently stayed at the Grant Hotel Tiberio for a week. Unfortunately, our 87 year old mother fell touring one of the sites while we were in Rome. The hotel provided a wheelchair for her to use while we were there free of charge. The bathrooms and rooms were spotless. The cleaning ladies and front desk personnel were cheery, helpful, and efficient. […] The morning breakfast was the same each day but plentiful. "Too far from center city"
Breakfast was good, place was affordable, bed was nice, hotel was clean....it just was not close enough to what we wanted to see. An FYI for anyone looking at this hotel - yes, it is close to Vatican City - but that is it! All of the other must-see-Rome locations are a trek.
"England rugby"
A good hotel not too far from Stadio Olympico...we walked back after the game! However connections to downtown need mastering! I suggest using the metro from Cipro and walking up the hill. Service was good and rooms suitable for a 4 star hotel. Enjoy!

Everything well organized, friendly staff, wonderful food. Not too far from the city, and the free shuttle bus is very convinient. Highly recommend this to everybody.

At first glance its a really nice Hotel for the price I managed to get it for and it pretty much lived up to that right the way through. It is a small distance away from the major attractions (it is near the Vatican) but the bus is very near and easy to use. The staff at this hotel are exceptional, they are helpful and friendly. Hotel itself is nice and comfortable. It is a little bit out of town but has a free shuttle bus which was great.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful. We had a 2BR suite with balcony, overlooking the quaint Roma(ntic) neighborhood. In addition to the free breakfast in the dining room before we set out to tour Rome, we went to the grocery around the corner for a couple bottles of wine, some cheese, crackers, olives and fruit for an evening snack on the rooftop terrace. […] You can see St. Peter's lighted dome in the distance looking over the neighborhood. We stayed in this hotel not too far from Vatican. The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Transport links are excellent and the hotel is good value for money. You can reach this hotel by train from Airport saving lot of taxi money. We took a one week public transport pass that is valid on metro, train and bus in Rome. The hotel provides […] unlimited breakfast 'continental' but we managed lunch and dinners from local takeaway (5 minutes by walk) and city restaurants. I strongly recommend this hotel. the hotel was quite nice with respect to service, cleanliness, etc. The rooms are clean and nice, though a bit smaller than what you see online. The only major drawback is the location since there's not much to do in the immediate neighborhood. Its a 20 min walk to the vatican and the bus-stop and train station are less than a minute away. After spending time in Rome, not sure weather you would find better for the money but give it a shot. Room was small, the toilet barely flushed, bed was rock hard(like the rest of Italian beds)Not sure one can do better in Rome for the price as I'm sure alot of places have plumbing issues there. That being said, it's pretty close to Vatican city. Lobby […] is nice and clean, so was the room. Do yourself a favor and skip the free breakfast. I tried everything and it was terrible. I let the meat fall out of my mouth as I chewed. Worst meal in Italy bar none. At least the cereal was ok. Not sure what else rome has to offer for the price but it seemed like a 2-3 star hotel. We had a great stay at the Azzi. The room was pretty small but you can get an upgrade room. good aircon and shower. Service was excellent with very kind staff. Place was very clean. Location excellent. Highly recommend.

good if you're pretty self-sufficient Pro's: - Room was very good. A lot of room considering the european standard. - Has a small but workable swimming pool (kid sized, not lap size). small workout room with about 6 machines. - Location was pretty good. not in the center of everything, but 20 minute walk from the vatican museum. it's right beside one […] of the train lines and by the 990 bus line. - free internet. con's: service was pretty poor. - no ice machine. get it from the bar, which is open from about 7pm-12pm. and then in small bowls. - shuttle service has room fro about 6 people only. essentially it's always booked unless you plan several days in advanced. - shuttle to airport only 3x / day. - service folks are minimally helpful at best. giving poor/incomplete/wrong information at worst. other: - breakfast was included. was a small selection. only eggs and bacon were hot. everything else was cold stuff. "Great Hotel for families"
We stayed only one night after our cruise. It was a lovely hotel and provided four single beds for my husband and me and our two grandsons. The beds were harder than we are used to, but not so much that we couldn't sleep. This is a beautiful hotel that more than met our expectations and the complimentary breakfast was fabulous. It was difficult to get […] to the city center on the metro, so if you are staying for some time and want to see the sights of Rome, this might not be a good location unless you use a taxi which can get to be quite expensive. The hotel does have a shuttle (not free) but doesn't run often or late. Since most hotels in Rome are equipped for only two guests, this was a great choice for us. "Lovely hotel"
The hotel, when travelling from airport, seemed quite far out but once we got used to the train times/bus we realised we were actually quite near everything! The receptionist working when we arrived was very friendly, and we had no trouble with any of the staff when we were there. The restaurant isn't great we ate out most nights, breakfast was lovely […] though a nice choice -- something for everyone. This was a very nice hotel, worth returning to. They had a fabulous courtesy breakfast buffet. It is in a residential neighborhood that doesn't look so good, but was no threat.
