Surprised to find it so nice compared to others and great value too!

I was expecting a little more, but for the rate I got, it was very good. The A/C was lacking a little,as I like my room cooler than most. The breakfast is ok if you are not a meat and potatoe type of person. Just wasn't enough for me.

We stayed here for a visit one week and then had to come back for a family emergency and it was an easy choice to come here again. Such a wonderful staff. We were there on Easter and the whole staff was wearing rabbit ears. The breakfast staff kept the food well stocked up to the end of serving every day.

The room was very clean and though it does need updating, like a newer tv, it was comfortable. My main complaint is it's impossible to sleep past 8am due to the doors slamming, either from guests leaving or from housekeeping, and from the vaccuming of the hallway, Couldn't this wait until after checkout, like at 11am? Other than not being able to sleep […] in, the hotel was fine. But when you get in at 5am from a night at the casino, sleeping is the whole reason you got a room in the first place. Lisez la suite

Nothing fancy, but adequate for my needs. Still has old/big tv (no flat screen) but was fine for me. Very comfortable bed, very clean, and quiet. Close to a number of good chain restaurants, plus Walmart, Best Buy, Toys R us, Gordmans...so good location for needs.

The beds were very comfortable, the continental breakfast was decent (waffle makers, bagels, bread for toast, yogurt, cereal - all the typical items), and the location was really great - lots of restaurants close by, very close to the interstate, etc. The only negitive was the size of the bathroom. The sink was located outside of the bathroom -which […] I actually appreciate, since a lot of times you need the sink area for brushing teeth, putting on make-up, etc., so when it's in the actual bathroom and the bathroom is occupied, you have to wait. However, the "bathroom" was like being in a closet - it was VERY narrow. I'm not a very big person (tall or around), but I could see someone who was having a difficult time using the facilities. The room was outdated, old tv, bathroom was tiny, toilet overflowed, bathtub floor creaked really badly, sheet was too small for thickness of mattress, kept coming off during the night.

This is my second time staying at this location. The first time I stayed was great. I had one of the themed rooms with a whirlpool. It had a lot of space, the bed slept comfortably, and the whirlpool was great. I paid a decent price for this room at the time. This next stay was set up for dissapointment because I just got a regular room. The room was […] small, the bathroom was small, the t.v. was small, the breakfast selection was small. I didn't expect a lot, but for paying more for this hotel compared to other hotels in the area, I was hoping for more. All in all though, I would stay here again, but only for less cost. My first time this hotel since we usual go to Western Inn while we come to visit our relative in Omaha. I like close to many of shopping and food restaurant.

The hotel is in need of updating. Our room was quiet, but not clean. The beds are in need of new mattresses.

The staff was very friendly. Check in and check out was fast and easy. Location is wonderful. Many shops and restaurants. My room was right next to the elevators - will definitely tell them not to put me there next time. Two of the outlets in the bedroom area did not work; therefore, the room was dark. Housekeeping was bad!!!! Upon arrival, had to call down to the desk for towels and washcloths. The room was not clean. Found a pop bottle behind the night stand and their were spots on the floor and on the foot stool that could have been cleaned up with a wet cloth and a little bit of effort. Don't be fooled by this motels crisp white whitewashed exterior. We could hardly breathe walking in the hallways to our"non smoking" room. At first we thought ut was confined to one hear heavy smoker but once inside our room we could still smell the stench.In the morning the smell remained.The breakfast was good and beds adequate

Nice hotel. Showing the age of hotel but still a great value.

We were very pleased with the hotel and its staff. Our room was quite nice, though the carpet seemed due for a cleaning. The AC was more than adequate, the bed comfortable. The bath linens tended toward "paper thin" but got the job done. The breakfast staff was friendly and kept the items well-stocked even for us late risers. This hotel is OK for the price. It desperatley needs updates and the breakfast was awful. Everything was tasteless and my family and I didn't finish a thing we attempted to eat. There was a nice lady who kept the area clean. The entire hotel had a musty old carpet smell to it. The pool was the only nice thing about this hotel. It was the perfect temp […] for my whole family to enjoy and was nice after a long car ride. I had to ask three times for a portable crib to be delivered and I finally went to the front (at 10:30 pm) and asked them for it so I could carry it myself back to my room. Some of the other hotel guests were millling around the halls very late at night and to be honest, made me uncomfortable. I guess the saying, "You get what you pay for" has some truth to it. The staff was wonderful. From the front desk to the breakfast attendant to housekeeping....all were super friendly and responsive. M.J. was my favorite!! Please keep the property as nice as it is, and we'll be back in 5 years for our next high school reunion!!

The hotel was off interstate 80 with several places to eat. The hotel staff were helpful in directing us to a place to eat. The room provided what we needed for a one night stay on our way to Denver.

I travel quite a bit with my German Shepherd and have had difficulty on occasion finding a hotel that is willing to take a dog over 60 pounds. Settle Inn had no size restrictions and only charged $15 for a pet fee which is far cheaper than other places I have stayed. When I checked in I noticed that my room was listed as a smoking room. I had specifically […] requested a non-smoking room and questioned the clerk about it. He told me that because I had a dog I was required to be in a smoking room. I asked why and was told that it was the policy. According to him, they had no non-smoking rooms available anyway. It was very late and after driving for 12 hours, I was not up to checking out the other hotels in the area. The room was very clean, neat, and good sized, but it reeked of smoke. This entire wing was obviously a smoking wing, as the hallway, vending area, and staricase reeked as well. It was very unpleasant and I woke up wheezing several times during the night and had to dig out my inhaler. My clothes smelled the next day as well. Just to add to it, returning from walking the dog in the morning, the hallway was permeated with the distinctive smell of marijuana smoke. While, I am sure that the non-smoking rooms were very nice, and Settle Inn's rates are very good, the overall experience was unpleasant. Management needs to understand that just because you have a dog does not mean you need to be put in a smelly room. Lisez la suite

check your road routes before you head out. we were detoured way out of the way to get to the hotel. friendly check in. small two-queen room. we slept and ate a decent breakfast and not an ok check out. overall a little too much moo la for what you get.

Stayed at Settle Inn in Council Bluffs during the College World Series. The Motel was completely full, but it was quiet. The lady on Saturday morning in the Breakfast Room was so nice that my 5 year old granddaughter said "she could be my 3rd grandmother, she is no nice".

The man at the front desk was very rude and short with us. Also during our stay my wife and I were enjoying the pool around 10:30 and he sent the other receptionist from the front desk to come in and "make sure nothing but swimming was going on." Which in itself was a very judgemental and uncalled for comment.

Computer in lobby not working. Room wasn't cleaned one day. Room key wouldn't let us in outside doors. Lots of little problems, but nothing major. People nice enough.

We checked in 1am, the desk clerk was not personable, Had little to say. We experienced this 2 nights in a row. The room: base boards, behind dresser, & TV table very dusty. We were there for a local event which is why I chose this area. My first stay here. The staff were very pleasant especially at check in, check out and cleaning. Cheerful and friendly and made me feel welcome. Give them a raise. They are why I gave this 5 stars vs. 4. The rooms were comfortable and in nice condition except needing new carpeting. Bathrooms […] were clean and updated. Shower was always hot and we were on the 3rd floor. Hot tub and pool area was clean and nice. It's a little small but I enjoyed this area.Towels were nearby which I liked as you usually have to bring one from the room. It was a little tough to find at first and access to the interstate is great once I figured it out. The only downside was the parking. There is not enough and unless you get back early you will be doing some walking. I will stay here again for sure though! Lisez la suite

Booked and paid for several weeks in advance for NON SMOKING room. When we checked in we were told non smoking not available, but not to worry room had been "ozoned". The entire wing reeked of smoke as did our room.

Very nice and comfortable hotel

For the price that I paid, for a bed and shower the motel was fine. I would stay here again.

We were pleasently surprised by how nice this motel was for the price.

Great except TV reception was poor. Couldn't watch movie I wanted.
