Not quite what I expected.

The hotel was nice. The staff could be more friendly. The hotel ended up charging my credit card for the stay. So, I was charged twice for my one night stay. One charge from hotels.com and one from The Country Inn. Not happy about that.

We came to Nashville to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in a Whirlpool room and it was very nice. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly.

Overall, this was a decent hotel. However, we have stayed in many Country Inns in the past and were disappointed about several factors with this one: no indoor pool, so no swimming was available in April; bright spot light outside of our window that kept going on and off (day auditor said they'd leave it off, but that didn't happen); no maid service […] after our first night (had to go ask for more towels); and breakfast was not up to usual C.I. standards (waffles were bizarrely bad). I have never stayed in this particular chain hotel, but it was a wonderful experience. It was very clean, no smoking, and good breakfast. NICE!!

The toilet did not work when we checked. I reported this not once but 3 sepetaye times. No one checked on it. We stayed 2 nights. No working toilet either day or night. No water at all For 5 hours Saterday evening.

Overall good experience. Breakfast bar had a good selection. Some things about the hotel did seem a little rundown (i.e. luggage carts were very unstable and one was held together with bailing wire, scotch tape was used to hold together a tear in the bathroom wallpaper.)

The hotel staff was very accommadating and the property was very clean and quite close to the airport.

The hotel manager, Jai, was very prompt and accomodating in shipping our neglected items my husband left behind at the hotel on our trip. The items were shipped home and were there when we arrived. Thank you Jai!

We arrived at the hotel for our 5 year anniversary trip. We had made reservations for the "nicer" room, a suite with a hot tub in the room. Upon arriving we checked in and went straight to the room to find that the comforter made up bed was covered with pet hair!!! We were told more than twice that pets WERE NOT allowed at that specific hotel. Obviously, […] this was not the case. Disgusted, we requested a new comforter and did receive one! The following day check-out time was at 12:00. We decided to leave the room around 9:15 and go less than a mile up the road for breakfast. Before leaving we hung the "please do not disturb" sign on the door so that we could return to the room after breakfast to relax a few minutes before the drive home. When we returned from breakfast at 10:30 the housekeeping staff were in our room and had all the sheets off the bed and were in full force of cleaning. WE HAD NOT EVEN CHECKED OUT YET! There was still an hour and a half before check out time! Upset for the 2nd time, we headed to the desk and said "I guess we need to check out since they are already cleaning our room" the assistant laughed and asked our room number and our keys. The hotel and staff we very accommodating. Very quiet hotel within 10 miles of downtown Nashville. I would highly recommend this location for your stay. The hotel was very clean and spacious and the breakfast was most enjoyable.

They need to keep the posted tv schedule in the rooms current.

Front desk was friendly, hot cookies and we didn't check in until 11 PM. Only compliant, breakfast quit serving at 9:30 AM..we had a long drive and work day the day before and didn't get moving as early as usual. When we got to lobby at 9:35 am it was closed. But there was a Waffle House across the street.

I loved this hotel it was clean and very comfortable. Convenient to the airport and downtown. I would definently recomend this hotel to others.

hotel staff friendly(sun was excellent)

We were looking for safe and clean and we were pleased

This was an inexpensive place to stay about 8 mins from airport. Room was nice, reasonably clean (a few stains on furniture and carpet, but not too bad - bedding was clean). Reception desk help was great! Only complaint was the sleeper sofa - no sleeping possible on the poor quality mattress. If you're not using that, you'll be fine!

Booked this at the very last minute for the proximity to the airport and based on the reviews. Not a bad place. Clean, friendly, good breakfast choices. The beds weren't all that comfortable unfortunately. Way too firm for our liking in the main bedroom, and the sofa bed that our daughter slept on was like every sofa bed we've ever had to use - she […] could feel the frame through the mattress. The front desk worker who checked us is was terrible. When I walked in he was on the phone and he acknowledged me. When he hung up rather than helping me he decided to make another call and got another one in the meantime which he took. Then when he finally started helping me he said he wasn't sure if my room was ready so he physically went to the room […] to check. On his way back he decided to open up the breakfast room for some other people and then when he came back another guest came up and demanded a new room because his smelled like smoke. Rather than finishing up with me he began helping him and insisted that it was just the last guest but the guest was certain that it was a permanent musty smoke smell that was in the furniture, carpet and probably the air conditioner too. The clerk then tried to give the guest two rooms that were already taken by the guests friends. And rather than apologizing he remained adamant that it was the last guest because they are smoke free and charge a fee if you are caught smoking. After he finally finished checking him into a new room he told me that my room wasn't ready and wouldn't be for at least another hour which would be after the stated check in time. I also asked him for a late check out and early check in for the following day because I was just switching rooms and he told me that the best he could do was a 1 check out and i would have to take my belongings back out of the room. He gave me my room key at that time but again stated it would not be ready for at least an hour. Our room had dirty towels and curtains but that was nothing compared to the room the next day that had major toilet problems. Every time you flushed the toilet the lid would come up and a stream of water would gush out the side so the floor was always wet. I was able to get things straightened out with the night person who told me that it would not be a problem to switch rooms and I should just let the morning person know what I needed and he would be i Lisez la suite

My family enjoyed our stay at Country Inn. Clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast. The only complaint would be housekeeping, not keeping bathroom supplied with toilet tissue. Had to go to front desk, to ask for tissue. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and would highly recommend.

The facilities were very clean and the location was away from the main traffic. Quiet, comfortable room. Very pleased with these facilities and the price. If all Country Inn and Suites are this good, I will be staying there on regular basis.

We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites at the end of a visit to Nashville to check out Vanderbilt. The hotel was clean, close to the freeway and the airport. There was a good selection of restaurants and stores in very close proximity to the property. Be sure to try "Famous Dave's" for barbecue!

I have stayed in Country Inns in several states, most recently in a wonderfully redone one in Bountiful, UT. This Country Inn had nice employees, BUT: there was a 3/8" gap at the bottom of my door; there were three hairs in the bathtub; AC/heating unit had been replaced and a strip of plywood covered what must have been a gap in the wall; the breakfast […] had cheap mini bagels and only slices of brown bread & packaged sweet pastries - not the usual you get. The hotel was clean and well cared for. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt that I received really good value for the money I paid. My only complaint was that the walls are very thin and I could hear the TV in the adjacent room until very late at night.

We got a great deal on this room so I was a little worried about the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was very nice. Check in was quick. Our room was very nice and clean. You can tell the hotel has some wear and tear, but it also looks like things are updated and replaced as needed. It was quiet and convenient. I would stay here again.

I was in town overnight for a conference. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The room was large, comfortable and clean.
