Nous avons passé 5 jours agréables dans cet hôtel, très bien situé par rapport aux sites touristiques et aux transports en commun; personnel agréable, francophone pour certains. Chambres bien équipées et bien insonorisées. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'a pas d'intérêt (triste et menu pauvre) mais le quartier regorge de pizzerias et autres trattorias

Les chambres ont été rénovées et sont confortables et propres. Le petit-déjeuner est correct, mais sans plus. La vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel a l'accueil parle français.

Le cœur de la Rome antique, toutes les routes mènent au Forum. Les visiteurs sont nombreux et souhaitent découvrir les rues dans lesquelles Jules César avait l'habitude de se promener lorsque la zone faisait office de centre commercial, politique et judiciaire. Le Colisée se trouve à proximité. Il s'agit d'un des monuments antiques de Rome les plus impressionnants.

Quartier très pratique, grande chambre quadruple, vue sur Santa Maria Maggiore, sur rue mais calme (double vitrage). Propre, bons lits, salle de bains OK. Petit déjeuner très moyen (salade de fruits en boite, eau chaude pas chaude, peu de choix). Accueil sympa, mais peu de services (pas de room service car hôtel petit), et même pas de papier/stylo offert […] dans la chambre. "Palace?? bien situé tout de même."
On ne peut vraiment pas appeler ça un palace !!! Une cabine de douche entièrement recouverte de moisissures, Et toilettes sales à notre arrivée. Le reste de la chambre est correct. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas terrible quand il reste quelque chose... ce qui n'était pas le cas tous les matins. Cela était rattrapé par la situation de l'hôtel pas loin de […] la gare et juste la grande avenue Cavour à descendre pour être au Colisée. "deux mots: A EVITER !!!!"
UN SCANDALE !!! Cet hotel classé 4 étoiles en mérite tout juste 2 ! Les chambres sont petites, la salle de bain et la chambre sont dégradées (moisissures dans la douche, poussière, trous dans les murs, le lit "double" est en fait 2 lits simples reliés par un bout de ficelle! ) Les équipements annoncés ne sont pas conformes (pas de coffre fort, télévision […] miniature). Le petit déjeuner n'est pas terrible et mal servi (couvert en plastiques, produits manquants, pain sec, et service inexistant!) Bref, ce "4 étoiles " fourni les prestations d'un mauvais 2 étoiles. Il y a d'autres hotels classés 3 étoiles beaucoup mieux tenus dans le quartier et moins chers. Un seul pt positif: la situation idéale proche des monuments , du métro et de la gare. l'hôtel est IDEALMENT situé, à 10mn à pieds du Colisée, forum, et autres structures, la vue est magique sur la plazza st maggiore, vous pourrez prendre le métro pour le Vatican et y être en 20mn ou bien tout faire à pied si vous êtes de bons marcheurs. Les bus impériaux ont un arrêt à 15m de l'entrée de l'hôtel . Vendeurs de glace à proximité, un délice, […] vous pourrez la déguster devant l'église ou bien en redescendant vers le Colisée lorsque la nuit tombe et que les illuminations se mettent en place. "Stay here"
This was my sixth time coming back to Rome for vacation, and the sixth different place I've stayed. From what I've experienced I would recommend staying at the Antico for its location, service, price, and quality. I can't speak to the sizes of the smaller rooms, or the largest of the rooms, but we stayed in a double deluxe. It was well-sized for European […] standards and had an amazing view of the church directly across the street. It's a simple 5-minute jaunt to two different metro stops (Cavour and Termini), 15-min easy stroll to the Colosseum, 10-min stroll to Repubblica and there are restaurants galore in every direction. I would recommend purchasing the breakfast as well since it is actually very well loaded with options. The A/C in the room wasn't perfect but opening the windows helped a lot during the hottest points of the day, though that did let in a lot of street noise (which speaks to the quality of the windows, I suppose). However, this was not really an issue since I'm not the type to stay in my room while on vacation. The hotel is very clean, very historic, peaceful and the service was great. "Friendly Service"
Close to Termini rail station and a hop on hop off bus stop outside the front door. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and a longer walk or a cheap cab to the majority of downtown Rome shopping and sightseeing.The gentlemen at the service desk were very friendly and helpful and a pretty good selection of food for breakfast provided. Room was a […] touch small for the 4 of us with luggage but it is Europe and compared to some hotels we stayed in it was fine. Only real fault was the noise from the road and outside filtering up through windows, but after a big day of walking Rome exhaustion kicks in and it doesn't matter. "Just aweful"
Dingy room, terrible decore, stains in the bed, walls and carpet, bad service from concierge. Room was nothing like advertised. "Great location in Rome!"
I chose this hotel for the location. Halfway between Termini and the Colosseum and right across from Santa Maria Maggiore. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were very friendly and our room was pleasant with a king size bed. My side of the bed sank down at the bottom if you sat on the end of the bed , however […] this didn't effect my sleeping. I found the shower stall a tad small but no other comments to make on the room. There was plenty of room, AC and closet space plus a safe. "Wonderful Hotel"

4 star luxury is pushing it, it's a 3 star hotel in a very good location. 5 mins walk from the terminus station, 15 mins to the Colosseum. Near very pretty area north of Cavour metro. "Better deal than some other Rome hotels"
I stayed in several hotels during my week stay in Rome. This one was probably the highest quality for the price, but had a less personal feel. The building is quite historic with impressive views of local architecture, but is nicely renovated. This is a great hotel. Reasonable by Rome price standards. Close to Termini Rail Station and an easy walk to all of the major tourist spots except the Vatican. "Great hotel in a great location!!"
This hotel was in an excellent location, we walked to all of the popular sites from here. We got a taxi from the taxi rank across the road to the Vatican (as we wanted to get there early) and it only cost 11 euros. We walked back to the hotel from the Vatican, via the Spanish steps and the four fountains. The hotel breakfast was good; a buffet of […] pastries, cereal, meats and cheeses, etc. The only negative point is that the internet, which we were expecting to pay 12 euros for, did not work at all, but the hotel did not charge us. The restaurant attached to the back of the hotel was also very nice, with very good service. Before we arrived at the hotel we emailed to reserve a parking space, there are 6 reserved spaces at the back of the hotel off the main road under video surveylance, we were really happy to leave the car somewhere safe!! "Charming old Palazzo"
The room was great for the money. Very convenient location, walked to Colliseum and Forum, bus tour pickup across the cathedral plaza in front, resturants in different price categories nearby. "Worst hotel of the trip."
This was our first hotel experience in ITaly and compared to all the others we stayed at later on it was the worst. The bathroom was disgusting, black mold around the shower, and the shower leaked. IT was very noisy in the room as construction was going on just outside our room facing the alley! We were up early for tourist stuff so it didn't matter […] much anyway. The staff were quite friendly so that was nice. Italian breakfast is just horrible no matter where you have it (except at the Waldorf Astoria) so commenting on the breakfast wouldn't really make a big difference! From talking with our friend who also stayed here, he said this hotel was actually quite good for ROme. "Would not recommend"
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but that could not overcome the out dated room. Everything needed updating: carpet, paint, bathroom, etc. We stayed here because it is close to the train station for our last night in Rome so we could catch the train to the airport conveniently. Reviews were good too, so maybe we had the last outdated room? The […] neighborhood did not appear very good. Men drinking in alleys and in the piazza across the street. We had spent four nights in Rome earlier in the week near piazza barberrini and never felt uncomfortable walking around on any street after dark like we did in this neighborhood. Подставы такой мы не ожидали. Приехав заселятся в 22.30 в отель нам заявили что наш оплаченный номер они продали и свободных номеров нет. После долгих ругательств нам предложили переехать в 3 звезды. Выбора не было, или ночевать на улице. Утром придя опять выяснить отношения, Случайно загленув в сетку расселения я увидел напротив наших фамилий пометку […] трехзвездочного отеля, так что все было продумано подлыми итальяшками заранее.
