Super 8 Daytona Beach Speedway - Daytona Beach

It was a handicapped room,the door to the bathroom,was a sliding door that wouldn't close all the way. When the room was supposed to have been cleaned,after the first night,the only thing that was done,the trash was taken out,they didn't bring back any new towels or wash rags,I had to go to the office and get them myself,because the guy said that he […] was busy,but he wasn't,he was just sitting in a chair doing,nothing. We had to walk around the room,in our socks,because the floor was filthy. The a/c unit was really noisy,and the breakfast sucked,because they didn't keep it stocked,and it made them mad,when asked for milk or juices.. Where the room was,it was supposed to be just for handicap parking,but there were cars almost parked up to where it was difficult to walk to our car,which were not handicap vehicles,they were parking on the grass. It'll be my last time of ever staying at it,and I've stayed there numerous times previously. It was said that the reason the room was where it was at was because of the price of the room,which shouldn't have anything to do with it,especially with it having been a handicap room.. It was so bad,that we didn't even stay there for the 3rd night,We left and started driving back home and got a room in Georgia.. If you keep records of how often someone stays in your motels,you'll see that I've stayed in several,nationwide,and this had to be the worst. Lisez la suite

Several room was issue due to a defective AC in each one. No remote in either room. For the event in place is the best location and price in town. Yo get what you ask for. We got a 2 star so we got 2 star service. But hey the continental breakfast was a great way to make up the down fall of the other items. Ride safe.

first of all, I booked 5 rooms ,I was told they would be together. they were not. when I went to check the rooms they were all over hotel and had to get 2 of them changed because the a/c didnt work , they changed rooms and we still had problems with the ac's tripping, they were just not interested , the tv's in some of the rooms didn't work correctly.,also […] had to buy a air mattress because all rooms were to be doubles and I knew 1 would be a king but the other 4 . will never stay there again. The bathroom light had no cover fixture, the bathroom ceilinbg had a open hole & wires hanging where the fan used to be located. there were wall outlets hanging loose with no covers. so, definately not a place for small children to be. This hotel is near I-95, very convenient and really close to many attraction. Staff was helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Room was ok, pretty dated, but clean. The only problem I had was when we pulled up to check in, there were two guys beating the crap out of eachother on the balcony of the second floor. After one guy was nearly thrown over, and the other fell down about six steps, I ran in and alerted hotel personnel to the matter. It made me uncomfortable staying there, […] but at midnight on the night of a Nascar race, there weren't many other options, so we stayed. Lisez la suite

the reason I am dissatisfied was that this room not well kept up in the bathrooms, the TV was all snowny and all night the rooms next to us was slamming doors both inside and outside and we were up all night. I checked out the next day and went to stay with a friend ours that we met that morning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else, unless […] they did'nt care about it condition. You will never catch me at another Super 8. The tub was absolutely disgusting. There was hair and brown ring that just needed to be cleaned. The mat in the bathtub had footprints on it. The toilet did not flush and the seat had smudges of something utterly disgusting. It was a nightmare. Never again.

Great location close to the Daytona speedway. Rooms were okay but really didn't expect much more in terms of condition and quality for the money

1st room was a king instead of 2 queens, also smelled very bad due to being a smoking room when non smoking was reserved. 2nd room, no a/c, no smoke detector, no security chain on door, TV barely worked, burned electrical plug over sink. somewhat cleanerthan forst room. 3rd room somewhat clean, cracks in shower with mole behind. tub would not drain, […] and could only take a shower. Hotel staff removed daughters personal pillow and electric toothbrush. Pillow was finally returned, but no luck with toothbrush. Also found homeless persons place in back of hotel. Still awaiting return call from Super 8 that has been promised. Lisez la suite

I had always thought Super 8 had a good hotel. Boy was I wrong. Check-in was terrible. Door cards didn't work, room not sufficient with towels, gaps under the door too large, door does not secure well unless deadbolted. Air conditioner not cool enough. Walkways full of spiders and webs. Not too clean. Not a hotel I would ever choose again. It's a shame […] because we do this Bike week every year! Lisez la suite

Nothing fancy about the place. It's a room to sleep in especially when your out and about in the daytime. I was hoping that I can do some work in my room but there is no internet access. You have to go down to the lobby to be able to access the internet. The hotel is about 2 miles from the airport, so if you don't mind hearing planes land every so […] often. Lisez la suite

I found this room to very unclean. The trim was dirty in addition to the floors. The headboard fell off the wall in the middle of the night. Luckily it didn't fall on our heads. I will never stay here again and I wouldn't recommend to others.

The lobby was in dissarey and not welcoming. We had booked a King sized bed, and had our comformation, but was given two full sized beds. The room smelled musky and the toilet ran all night. The hotel could not make any adjustments because we had booked through Hotels.com.

We arrived to a TV not hooked up and when it was connnected there were only 6 stations. A smoke alarm that was beeping, I would have called the front desk but the phone was not hooked up. I went to the front desk and it took the 2 workers over 15 minutes to assist me, because they were both balancing the books for the day. The Pillows and pillow cases […] were dirty, there was toe nails on the floor, and the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet taking off. The worker informed me that the 2nd story of the hotel had been closed for most of the summer. But the weekend I went "Biketoberfest" it was booked solid, and they should have planned ahead. I have stayed there before and everythin was OK, I don't know what happed to this place. Lisez la suite

Hotel exceeded my expectations. May be different on a day not filled with race fans, but service was good, room clean, and families filled the rooms. Shuttle service for the race was quick and easy.
