WE were at hotel desk late night, reception desk locked, register through window outside, two guys walked into property from street as soon as we stopped the car asking for money, scary, no security cameras, or security.. Never recomend.. It was a big mistake..

We showed up and the hotel looked a lot more dated than the pictures had shown, but I didn't worry about that too much and went ahead and checked. When we got in our room (which was difficult bc the door was stuck) the first thing I noticed as I took off my shoes was the carpet. The carpet felt dirty, dingy and almost sticky. When we pulled back the […] comforter on the bed there were stains all over the bottom side that looked a lot like blood. So we only used the sheets. The bed was way too soft and uncomfortable though and I woke up several times because my back was killing me. Three days after leaving my back is still sore. Both nights we stayed there we woke up the following morning to mice rummaging around in bags and trash cans. And the breakfast was nothing to impress either. It only had three items; a chocolate muffin, a bagel, and cereal. I was very disappointed with this hotel and will never go back. Lisez la suite

DIRTY. Need I say more. VERY DIRTY.The bathroom in the room had black mold along the edges and on the wall, also on the shower curtain.....gross. The bed, well I pulled back all the sheets to see the underside of the sheets we were going to be sleeping on were covered in lots of long black hairs.....gross. Sheets seemed really old, paint chipping off […] ceiling, towels were worn out. We did not bring in our luggage, only what we needed to bring into the room.We didn't want any unexpected critters hitching a ride with us to our next stop. The front desk had at least 4 "no refunds" signs that we counted. So guess what, no refund. We only need the room for one night, thank god. But for the $42 I paid for it, even though its cheap...I expected a place with a minimal level of cleanliness. We didn't even get that. Super 8 and Expedia.com should really reconsider listing these as part of their organizations. We stayed at the Francis Marrion Hotel in Charelston NC and booked it through Expedia for 3 nights prior and it was 5 star beautiful. You get what you pay for I suppose. Lisez la suite

place was cheap. booked it because I had good experience with daysinn. the room was dirty. bugs everywhere. towels were dirty. bathroom was dirty. bed was hard and uncomfortable. asked for tooth brush at night. old man was sleeping on the lobby couch. he woke up and answered the night time window. told me to walk to a gas station for tooth brush. bad […] service. overall bad quality. dirty. bad service. i know i can get better treatment and better rooms with the same price range somewhere else. The reason I choose this hotel is because it had a pool and free Breakfast. Got there the pool was closed and the guy was somewhat friendly. He told us that they did not take pets anymore but the papers they had said they did. As I was pulling around the side there was a family of Mexicans and 3 little dogs running around.....(lie #1) Got to the room […] it smelled as if someone has been living in the room with a cat and let the cat pee on EVERYTHING! I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO CATS and asked called the front desk person if they had another room due to the room being smoking and cat smell. He informed me that there was not a another room available. I went up to the front desk to ask for my money back and he then told me that That he had another room for me....(lie # 2). I reminded him that he had just told me that he did not have anymore room and that I just wanted my money back. After making that statement he then told me that the room was non Refundable....(lie # 3) and at that point I just gave him the room key back and called Hotels.com. After arriving at this hotel we realized that they handed over our room to someone else even though they had our booking information in the system and they didn't have any other vacant room to provide us. Similar incidents happened to few other people who were refused to provide rooms despite of having booked earlier. It was the most unprofessional […] behavior of hotel management that I ever faced in US. We then had to search for another hotel to stay. The staff was great, however the hotel was under new ownership and the information on the website regarding allowing pets was not correct. Luckily the staff realized that I had booked my reservation because the site said they allowed pets, and let it slip this once.

This hotel recently underwent new management. When we arrived, the door to the lobby was broken and had to be opened by the staff member with a screwdriver. Hotels.com stated that it was a pet friendly hotel, it is not. Not good news when traveling with a pet from another state. The "business center" was an ancient computer in the corner of the lobby […] that I was told hadn't worked in over a year. The sink in the bathroom did not drain well. It reminded me of the child that goes to school in tattered clothing, but was always clean. This hotel is quite worn and tattered, but it was clean. If you just need a bed to sleep in, and do not mind it being rather hard, this is your place. Otherwise, go elsewhere, because this place is not Super and definitely not an 8. Lisez la suite

This is an Indian family run hotel. It's not the newest and it shows its age but it is kept clean. The service was satisfactory but I was missing some words of greeting or politeness. Coffee maker in my room didn't work but they served breakfast so it wasn't a big problem. The service was HORRIBLE. They charged me twice, the room was freezing and didnt get warm until 20 minutes before we left, the fire alarm battery was dying so it beeped nonstop, after an hour of waiting maintanence came to fix it but they just yanked it off the wall instead of replacing batteries, the next morning on the way to the lobby there was a […] broken whickey bottle and whiskey all over the floor in the lobby that no one was even attempting to clean up, we went to get "breakfast" which consisted of 2 mini cereal boxes and no milk that was all they had out for breakfast so we didnt eat there. This Super 8 is rundown. Very different from any other Super 8 I've stayed at. The bathroom is so small that the door literally hits the toilet. Everything is old and worn. Being shoddy is one thing.
