Super 8 Edmonton West - Edmonton

So I was not expecting any frills when booking at the super 8 but what I received was less than special. There was no hot water in my shower, half the lights in the room did not work and the service desk was less than helpful. I would not come back.

Nothing fancy but reasonable price

Nice place, staff where very friendly.

It was good until my husband walked in and found the maid laying on the bed texting on her phone . A little inappropriate.

We were unhappy because we could not get into our room when we arrived. The beds were comfy, and the restaurant was really good. This hotel is like trucker central, yet still fairly cheap.

Let's just say that disclosure of the fact the hotel is connected to a truck stop was not advertised.

Everything was fine and the price was good. We have been here a number of times throughout the years.We were not disappointed.

Conditions of room when we arrived: hair behind doors, coffee maker filled with coffee, ashes in drawer, cigarette butts on floor, plastic knife jammed into heater, sink not clean, fridge froze our food, carpet not vacuumed, heater made very loud noises when put on, continental breakfast not so good food was cold and not a lot of variety. The next two […] days the cleaning of room was not good. One day only one bed made, and floor was not vacuumed. One very good thing was when we went to check out the manager gave us $25 dollar refund which was very kind. Cleaning of your rooms needs to improve tremendously before I would stay at your hotel again. Lisez la suite

The location was easy to access and easy to get to the West Ed. Mall. The room was clean and beds were nice. Pillows were too big for my liking. Ended up buying pillows because there were no other type in the hotel.

this was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in we got there and they put us in a smoking room it was awful i am 7 months pregnant and could not sleep they said they didnt have another room avaliable. we had put in for a non smoking room i didnt even know smoking roooms existed, also the people above us were jumping around and banging on the floor we […] called down to the front desk twice to ask them to stop and they never went and asked them , out garbabge when we got to our room had not been changed, everything was dirty and gross would never stay here again Lisez la suite

First time I stayed here and at first I was skeptical because it definately caters to the Trucking Industy and didn't know what to expect. There is a restaurant, lounge and little convenience store. Had supper in the Lounge and Continental Breakfast and we also had Lunch there and food was great. We will definately stay here again.

We usually stay at this hotel and we were never let down. This is my first time booking through online and I was a little skeptical but it all worked out great! The staff there is kind and friendly, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning on staying in and around west Edmonton mall.

Just what you would expect from a Super 8. An average hotel, clean rooms and a good price. Good location, close to WEM and good resturants. I would stay away from the on location resturant... pretty dirty but they do know how to cook eggs!!

Good value, priced right and close proximity to the Mall. Would stay here again. Jim in Saskatoon.

Don't know if it was the dirty room, stale breakfast, type of customers, or that my vehical got broken into, but I would stay somewhere else unless you are so broke that 30 bucks makes or breaks you. Then you should sleep in your car, you'll have a stay with better security.

I think the ones booking the rooms in advance need to follow up on their work .This place was a complete disappointment.The fact that the towels and stuff wasn't in the room is not an issue,but being put in another room when you arrive at the hotel is an issue. Furthermore ,after staying our three nights ,we had decided to stay another three nights.We […] negotiated a price with the manager and considered the room ours and when we went to get in our room , it was booked to someone else. I stay in Edmonton quite often and stayed in a lot of Hotels in the city,but the quality of service and condition of the rooms is at the utmost bottom of the scale and I will not be staying at another super 8 hotel again. Oh and lets not talk about the pathetic complimentary breakfast that was served. Good luck on having me recommend this place to anyone. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and kept that way. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the stay very much..

Not to Bad. Typical Super 8. Easy to find and just down the street from West Edmonton mall, but not walking distance. My most important features of the room was that it was quiet and had a working air conditioner in the july summer heat. Check in and out was fast. Nothing fancy, but had a good night sleep, relaxing shower, and a small, but free continental […] breakfast. We only stayed one night because we were passing through. Would consider staying again.
