Super 8 Kenmore/Buffallo/Niagara Falls - Kenmore

Bon rapport qualité/prix. Pas trop loin des chutes du Niagara donc assez pratique mais véhicule indispensable. Petit déjeuner très léger...servi sur le comptoir de l'accueil. Globalement satisfait.

Petite chambre surtout pour le prix. A noter qu'il y a le train qui passe juste à côté mais qu'il ne nous a pas dérangé.

The cons outweigh this hotel, I have to say, only stay here if you have absolutely no other options. The was without a doubt the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. It is right next to a very busy freight line, and you will hear loud train noises throughout the night. I did not sleep well here at all. Also, even thought they post they are pet free, […] they allow pets. A dog was barking in the room next to us for an entire night, the guests were not able to be reached by management until the next day, as a result of both sources of noise, the train and dog we were not able to sleep here. Is that not why you get a hotel? To perhaps sleep, I think so. Anyway, I would not recommend this hotel due to the very loud train service right next to it, it was like My Cousin Vinnie, with the train at night waking up Joe Pesci, pretty awful. Lisez la suite

A clean and inexpensive place to lay our heads for the night. It was conveniently located near our son in Buffalo as we were visiting for the weekend and didn't want to inconvenience him.

We stayed here because we wanted an inexpensive for one night. It is a clean and comfortable hotel that served a continental breakfast. The desk person pointed out that two restaurants a block away would give us a 10% discount on our meal if we showed our room key. We ate at the Royal and and had a very nice dinner. Our only "complaint" would be that […] the is now separate seating area for breakfast. This hotel is near the Niagara falls US side but you must have a car to enjoy. The location is along the road but the public transportation to go to Niagara falls is not as accessible. The one night stay is ok but to stay for longer period of time is not wise since the taxi fares are ridiculous. We spent a total of $90 dollars just for transportation […] both taxi & bus tickets. With this amount of money I could have booked the better first class hotels near the airport. The claimed distance of 8.5 miles from the airport is not true. We took the bus to Buffalo State College & from there we got in the taxi cab & got charge $35 more on top of the bus ticket. We also paid $35 for the taxi from Downtown to the hotel. This hotel is not conveniently located as regard the distance to the tour site & down town Buffalo. We took a long walk 20 minutes to get a bus to downtown to economize but it was not worth it. I would only recommend this hotel for people who got cars to move around conveniently.The hotel desk was no help as regard transportation information.Oh well serves me right! next time I come back to Buffalo NY I would just check in at the more expensive first class hotel & get a rental car. I stayed on this hotel 2 years ago, it was good during that time and stayed again and now far better then before. LCD TV, clean rooms and everything. Breakfast having limited choices.

Great example of 'you get what you pay for.' Pros: price and location (but not really as convenient to Niagara Falls as we had hoped) Cons: bed bugs, broken bathroom fixtures, no elevator, and soiled carpets. I haven't had the opportunity to stay at other local hotels in the area, but you probably would do better by spending just a few $ more at […] another place- money that would be well spent in my opinion. Woman at front desk was rude and very confrontational...i don't always love my job but she was miserable. I will pass on this place next time.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room itself was dirty; the bed linen was dirty, the mattress was filthy, the locks on the windows didn't work. I would not stay at this location again.

This is one of the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Beds are very small and very uncomfortable. On top of everything else the counter lady is very rude and does not know what is civilization. Staff very friendly, willing to get you to where you needed to go. Rates were out of sight for the quality of the hotel even what AAA quoted in their 2011 Tour Book. Did not receive a discount as to what was quoted. AAA or ARUP would have discounted the room.

Good option for cheap hotel at Niagara. Service was good. Room was clean.

I want to start by saying I am not very picky where it comes to places to stay. However, this place is a craphole. I went down with family to do some shopping so the only time spent in the room was at night to sleep and in the morning to get showered and to head out for the day. Firstly we booked a room with two DOUBLE beds - they did not give us two […] DOUBLE beds - they gave us two FULL SIZE beds - which are smaller than double beds - so having a total of 3 people staying in the room, it was impossible for us to sleep comfortably inspite of having these two FULL size beds. The AC was on the whole time yet it barely cooled the room. The continental breakfast was so awful it made McDonalds look like a gourmet food place. The owner didn't care that we did not get 2 DOUBLE beds and argued that these FULL sized beds were bigger than double beds which is total nonsense. Basically, save your money and your sanity. Sleep in your car, in a tent, or anywhere but avoid this motel at all costs. Lisez la suite

There is a reason it's one of the cheapest hotels in the area. The first room we were offered smelled like urine, so we asked for a new one. The associate was courteous and did not even hesitate when asked to exchange our room. The overall condition of the hotel is just rundown. It has a "not-so-clean" feeling throughout the hotel. Didn't sleep at all last night. Stay on top floor at rear for a chance at a quiet nights sleep, unless the train rumbles through at 3AM. Rooms have no soundproofing.

Ok in the price to stay for a night or 2.

The rooms smelled of mold. The walls were paper thin and you can hear your neighbors. I would not recommend this hotel even for one night stay

I dont know about other locations of Super8 but Terrible. I wouldn't go this location again.

There were cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings A spider climbed down and one was in the bathroom, Windows were dirty. Continal breakfast was skimpy very small cups for coffee that was watery Will not stay there again

Hotel staff was great! It's a Super 8, need I say more, but it was your average or above with service! Worth a one night stay & more, if you just need a place to sleep. Personal experience was noisy neighbors and exhaust fan in bathroom, which we turned on to drown out the neighbors. It worked though and not a bad experience at all!

Hotel was priced very low, which made the stay almost tolerable. The walls were paper thin, so kids running up & down halls, adults yelling to their kids and others, made it hard to sleep. This went on until after midnight. Plus, it was next to train tracks so you dealt with loud train noise. Other than that, nothing special about the place. Two restaurants […] within walking distance. I needed a room close to a work area--big mistake. The room was filthy, coffee maker but no coffee pot. The cord to the phone was frayed, could not shut off the wake up call. There was mold in the grout in the bathroom, the blanket was frayed and old. Would have gone somewhere else if time had permitted and I had known the area better.
