c'est un hotel pour dormir le temps de visiter kingston. Le centre ville n'est pas très loin (possible de le faire à pieds) et la chambre est correcte: propre et spacieuse.

Cet hôtel entache la réputation de la chaine Super 8. A very dark cloud over Super 8 chain!! Nous avons réservé par internet, en toute confiance vu que c'est un Super 8, donc payer en avance, nous avons quitter la chambre vers 11 hrs le soir pour aller dormir ailleurs, odeur désagréable, mur de carton(donc très bruyant), propreté a très très discutable […] et l'emplacement pas très sur !!! Un vrai cauchemar... We booked trhough internet based on our pas experience with Super 8. paid in advance at a great rate...We left at 11 pm the same night to find a place to sleep!!! Paper tin walls (very noisy), not clean at all, smelly, not a secure location either.. What a nightmare. Please Super 8 don't risk your reputation with them!!! Lisez la suite

On nous a placé en arrière de la bâtisse, tellement collé à la maison que nous devions fermer la fenêtre pour ne pas entendre leur climatiseur. Il y a de l'aménagement et du ménage à faire. Le petit déjeuner est très ordinaire. Si vous avez la chance d'aller ailleurs, faite-le!

while the beds were comfortable the rooms were so small you could hardly move in them, extremely old and in desperate need of updating. Bathroom was no bigger than a very small closet. I'm in Kingston a lot and usually stay at the HoJo next door. HoJo was fully booked so went to the Super 8. What a mistake...this place is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was filthy: there was mold in the bathroom, a hole in the wall, stains on the carpet and the bed was so uncomfortable I barely slept. Awful dump...

If you are looking for a place to sleep than that's all but don't expect anything more than that. When we arrived there the first room was dusty, had a smell of mold and none of the electric plugs were working. We got a new room but it too was dusty and dirty. The queen beds are not queen they are double, the maintenace of the rooms is poor we found […] plastic knives left over from others there. This is one of the worst hotels/motels I've ever stayed in. The minute you walk in the lobby you realize you've made a big mistake! The carpets are worn and filthy and the general lobby appearance makes you wonder if they rent this place by the hour instead of the night! You cannot access the room in this fleabag from the parking lot and instead you […] have to make the long walk down the hallway (also with worn filthy carpets and dirty walls) that gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling that you are making that long final walk to the gallows! Opening the door and gazing into the room makes you wonder if you are looking into a closet because it is so small. You hope for clean sheets wondering what form of human has stayed there the night before! A space heater is there plugged into the wall to give you that warm and fuzzy feeling and the coffee maker still has the grinds in it from the night before. The only nice thing I can say about this dump is that the Howard Johnson's is two doors down so when you turn to run for the hills, you don't have far to go to find another place as quickly as possible! The only nice thing I can say about this place is that yesterday's newspaper is free! I will never, ever stay at a Super 8 again and neither should you! AVOID THIS DUMP LIKE THE PLAGUE! This is a good place for all planning to spend the night! I had a busy weekend at Queen's University and I spend minimal time in the room. Don't expect too much, beds were clean, water was hot, and there was coffee in the morning... You must realize, this is a Super 8, not the Hyatt!

I booked this room for one of my employees and was contacted by him when he checked in and said that the room was absolutley gross and dirty and it had a terrible odour.

If you are looking for a qwuality hotel in a safe neighbourhood, this is not the hotel for you. From the run down appearance of the foyer it gives you an indication of the hotel room. Would not recommend staying there.

Very friendly young people at the desk. Comfortable beds clean sheets. Acceptable continental breakfast . Towels could be updated.quiet even though location is princess st.

Since the price was so low compared to others in Kingston, Ontario, I should have suspected that this was no a place I would recommend. The carpets had not been cleaned and the baseboards and heater had a layer if dirt on them. The bed had clean sheets and was comfortable. In the bathroom there were no plastic cups and face cloths.

Be prepared to carry your baggage if you are on the 2nd floor - there isn't an elevator. Considering how little they charged, I had a perfectly acceptable room to sleep in. It was small, it lacked some towels in the attached full bathroom, there weren't any facial tissues, there wasn't a replacement cup on the table the 2nd day... but it had a mini-fridge, […] a microwave, an air conditioner and a colour TV with remote. Not what we were expecting...and certainly NOT for the price we paid. I would NOT stay here again. Consider paying just a bit more and getting BETTER value. The room we were in was OLD...SMELLY and just NOT comfortable. Towels were not in the room...we had to ask for a blanket and were stuck in , im guessing , the OLDER part of the hotel. About the only positive things I can say about the hotel is it was at a convient location and the Desk Clerks were very helpful and attentive The floor was wood and did not feel clean to bare feet. The hallways were VERY narrow, two people could not pass without one of them turning sideways. The area set aside for the Continental breakfast was extremely […] small, you were luckly to get three people in the area at the same time. While all the things I mentioned above were not too great, the biggest problem I found was horrible security. The deadbolt in the room would not engage. I guess that wasn't to bad becasue all I had to do was open the bathroom door and no one could have gotten past it since the entranceway was extremely narrow. The lock on the side door to the outside was broken, it appeared it had been that way for a long while based on the trash in the lock, and was left open with a piece of metal. I wish to thank the people of Kingston for being law abiding citizens and not taking advantage of this horrible breach of security. Had there been an emergency, someone would have died. The nearest exit, the one the exit sign pointed to was locked! The hotel was not well maintained and it is my opinion that Hotels.com should drop from its offerings or force the hotel to fix the security problems before something serious happens. I will say I did not ask for a different room, I felt it was a waste of time becasue I believed all the rooms were in as bad a shape as the one I took. Since I had already paid for the hotel, should I have stayed or gone to another hotel and fought with Hotels.com to get my money back? I took my chances that nothing would happen and stayed. We expected a two star level for the price we paid but it was a clean, comfortable place to sleep for a night. No luxuries but the water was hot, the sheets were clean and we slept comfortably.

The walls were stucco over concrete. The tub was disgusting and their was what looked like puke incrusted on the bathroom wall over the garbage can and on the back of the door. The room felt like a jail cell.

Even though I only stayed for a few hours, I was quite satisfied with my stay. I arrived close to 2am and was offered a clean non-smoking room even before my paperwork was found. The motel was just a few minutes away from my destination. This was perfect. I ate a bit of the small breakfast provided and was on my way without any trouble the next morning. The town was fully booked, this motel was the only place available. OK for the price. The room was small, the other guests in the motel were trailer trash who came to town for some hockey tournament: drunken and loud at 3 AM.

The outside of the hotel has been beautifully renovated, however, the inside is in need of drastric repairs. The staff was very courteous at check in and helpful with other questions as well. The interior paint and carpet need much attention and updating. We couldn't even fully open the door to our room because it hit the bathroom wall. Once inside […] our room, the laminate flooring was scratched and dirty. There were many hairs in the bathroom that did not belong to us, as well as tooth paste and facial hair in the sink. If it had not been so late at night we would have left. Once in bed, the headoard fell off the wall and landed on us. We spoke with the staff in the morning and cancelled our room for the second night. Hotels.com refunded us the charges. Two days later I received a call from the hotel manager that they are refunding the full amount we were charged by hotels.com for the night that we stayed there. We are very happy with the outcome of the situation but will not be staying at this hotel ever again. Again, the hotel reception staff were very kind, easy to deal with and very appologetic. I thought it was very dumpy, You get what you pay for. I never stayed in a hotel like this. The hotel was cheap, That was the only think that was good abought it.

The hotel room I had was a little bigger than a postage stamp. With the absolute minimum amount of room to walk around. The bathroom had just enough room to spin around in place without hitting anything. The room also lacked some standard items such as a clock radio, plastic cups for drinking, no real counter space in the bathroom. This hotel reminded me of the fifties. Very small the rooms are like a hole in the wall. The beds where ok. nice clean sheets,but don't luke in the corners otherwise not to clean. Would never go back to this one and stay away from other super8 hotels

Reasonable priced in the area, but you get what you pay for. Small room, bathroom extremely small, basically nothing in room such as hair dryer,iron or anything you get at other hotels. No internet or phone just basic room. Do not recommend this hotel.

Very close to downtown, the port and all the important places in Kingston.
