Terrible. I have stayed there several times since it was built and it continues to go down hill with each visit. The room stunk. The bed was so noisy it sounded like it was made of cardboard, there was a lot of smoking, vending machine didn't work, breakfast could be improved upon (start with a decent cup of coffee). Shame on the management.

My room was located about ten feet from the ice machine and vending machines. It was also located along the side of an exit and public bathrooms. It was just outside the lobby. I heard every single noise from people entering and exiting. I heard every single coin drop in the machine for purchase. I heard every single ice cube drop. I heard the TV in […] the lobby all night long. There was no working alarm clock and the wake up calls were late or didn't happen causing me to over sleep each day. It was the typical cheap motel situation. The room was basically clean, but the roar of the heater, when it kicked on, was so loud as to jolt me awake. Water pressure was a mere trickle, and the bath and sink stoppers and been removed, so there was no way to take a bath. Breakfast was meager, and several items were empty by the time I got there. The hotel room was very comfortable. The hotel was located very conveniently off the interstate and was surrounded by several eating places, all within walking distance, as well as several places to shop. Room quite small but neat and clean. Bathroom tiled and nice countertop. Bed comfortable. Nice minimal breakfast.Downers: towels harsh, old and faded. Hems coming out of window drape. Both could be easily corrected to make a great budget stop.

There was one lady at the desk, who when you call her for information, was very rude. We will not come back to this motel. We have family that we visit in Morgantown and in the past always stayed there.

There was a bad odor the minute you walked in. Not sure if was the old carpeting or what... Went next door to Michael's Craft Store and bought a fragrant candle to mask the smell.

The stay was ok in and of itself. The walls were quiet but the upper floor was not. When I went into the hall I could here a child fussing but in the room I could not hear it. However at 3:45 am someone was moving furniture above and they seemed to be fighting. I could hear voices but not really what they were saying. The disappointing and actually […] frustrating thing was I called this hotel earlier in the day and they said they didn't have a room - however when I went online I found a room. We asked for a second night but in 1 room instead of 2 and the lady at the counter said they didn't have anything available. She seemed to be lying because she kept hesitating. WE went online again and it showed it was available. At this point I refused because I think that is totally weird. I suspect the online reservations are being pushed but not walk ins. Overall the beds were great, the b'fast was OK. Limited but OK and the space to eat was OK as well. Lisez la suite

In town for the KSU WVU football game. Was fairly close to downtown, just a $10 cab. Problem was getting a cab to show up in a decent amount of time. Room seemed fairly clean but the bathroom door was falling apart and it had quite obviously been a smoking room at some point in time. Poor Front Desk operation ( must dial telephone number to have check-in clerk appear),rooms poorly designed, long uncomfortable reach from thundermug to toilet paper holder, unsatisfactory for more than one night stay. Finally, breakfast is absolutely minimal,no fruit, no hot cereal even though microwave is available even the coffee was second rate. […] On the positive side rooms were clean, maintenance seems adequate. Hotel is close to I 68 and very convenient. Rooms are nice size and well decorated. All rooms have microwave and refrigerator. The mattress was way too soft for my back and that is why comfort got a low rating.

Hotel had a midnight check in which was wonderful for us. The room was comfortable and in a safe, populated area very convient to the highway and shops. The free continental breakfast was simple but was kept full and fresh during our stay. Great hotel for cost.

Maybe I am spoiled, but I was not at all impressed with our stay at this hotel. The beds were uncomfortable, they had no coffee available at breakfast, which in of itself was non existent, and when I went to check out, the front desk attendant, who was busy arranging pamphlets of area attractions asked if I was checking out, to which I replied yes, […] but she then continued with her task and made me wait almost three minutes before coming to the desk to check me out. Upon arriving at our room it was apparent by the empty beer bottles and unmade bed that the room had not been cleaned. When we complained to the desk the reply was oh sorry about that. We were given another room that smelled like mold and mildew, but at least it appeared to have been cleaned. Upon arrival my room door was propped open.. Guess they were trying to air it out. It smelled of old wet cigarettes. It was a no smoking room but it for sure had recently and often been smoked in. My bedspread had a 1 inch cigarette burn in it. I can't say the room was dirty it is just lacking alot and smelled really bad.. The room was dingy, and the bed smelled. AC did not work correctly. Made it hard to get any rest. Lighting made no sense, as to the placement. We have stayed at this location several times 10 years ago when our older son went to college. We booked here recently while on a trip to visit the college with our younger son. The overall condition of the hotel was satisfactory but our particular room was less. We had a "Non-Smoling" room that smelled of a room that perhaps was a smoking room at one […] time. The smell was awful! It was apparent that the bathroom vanity had been upgraded to a granite counter (which was very nice) because the backsplash area from the old counter was still visible on the wall under the mirror. This was a Super 8, not a Ritz. I wanted a place with the 4 criteria listed above. I got it. In addition, even at bargain rates it had a clean, cold mini-fridge and a microwave. Plenty of hot water in the shower, clean room, comfortable bed. Cold air conditioning. I didn't bother with the TV, but the wireless in the room worked just as good as at home. […] Don't forget to ask for the code for the network, it's not written down in the room. Their in-room super mini coffee maker made me a good cup of coffee to get me out the door by 6am. I don't know if they have a "business center" with printer, etc. I doubt it. I don't know if they have a pool or workout room either. I tend to doubt it. But like I said, it was A+ on the basics that you would hope to find. I got exactly what I was looking for. Reservations on Expedia were a snap. Plenty of places to eat a stones throw to walk to. Ruby Tuesday's, Wendy's, and a few others. Good cappuccinos inside Books A Million in the small shopping center as well. For a no-frills comfortable night's rest, I give it a thumbs up. Lisez la suite
