There was smelly garbage outside the exit doors, heat did not work in our room, cob webs filled the celing above our beds, at check in, we were informed there was a pet fee, never mentioned when making the reservation, and I told the person that made res. we where coming for the big dog show in Springfield. Im from the area and still had a hard time trying to locate the driveway, I arrived around 12:30 and was told by the receptionist (while eating a bowl of cereal)that my room would not be ready until 3:00PM.The place is a dump! The halls were dark and dingy, garbage piled in overflowing trash cans by the back enterance. If I had not alreeady paid for […] two nighs on line i would have went someplace else. Lisez la suite

It is strongly recommended that you look for another place to stay. We booked the motel for two nights. The first impression was not good: there were shopping carts in the parking lot, the area didn't feel particularly safe and once you entered the motel it rieked of urine, feces, mold and dog. The carpet in the room was filthy with large stains and […] the room had a very unpleasant chemical odor. The beds are uncomfortable. When we came back to the room on the second night, we found our door unlocked, the beds unmade and the used towels were in the sink, right where we had left them. We decided not to spend another night there and found lodging elsewhere. We will never stay at the Quality Inn in Chicopee again! Lisez la suite

Highway is directly over the roof of hotel and you hear road noise all night long. I knew we were in trouble when there were empty grocery carts in the parking lot. Hot water faucet didn't work and clock radio skipped an hour after midnight. Waffle was good in the morning. Would not stay here again.

This is the worst motel we ever stayed in!

Hotel in disrepair; no soda in vending machines; pool full of weeds, not water!

I had called the hotel the day before our arrival to see if it would be possible to check in prior to the usual 3 p.m. check in time. We were in town for a banquet that started at 1 p.m. I was told that they would instruct the cleaning staff to do our room first and that it would not be a problem if we wanted to check in early. I asked if I should call […] the hotel upon our arrival in Chicopee and was told this wouldn't be necessary. We actually got to the hotel at 11:30 and we told them about the arrangements that I had made by phone regarding checking in at 1 p.m. I was told no, that none of the rooms would be ready before 3 p.m. We changed our clothes in the rest rooms and went to the banquet. We finally checked in at 8 pm after leaving the banquet. If the hotel told me that we could check in at 1pm, I feel we should have been allowed to do so. Lisez la suite

I have stayed at this hotel before but it must be under new management now because it was nicely upgraded, microwave and refrigerator in each room. The breakfast was way beyond expectation for this hotel with waffle maker, sausages and other breakfast selections.

We were excited to get to the hotel, knowing that I booked this certain hotel due to price, breakfast, and an outdoor pool. Unfortunately, we found out the following morning that the pool was closed due to remodeling, sonething that should have been updated on the participating websites. My girls and I were not happy. Later that evening, we noticed […] a leak coming into our bathroom and we had to switch rooms on our last day, what chaos that was. However, I do have to say that the front desk staff was very helpful and courteous to my family. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone, yes, but make sure that the pool is open if that is a deciding factor. Lisez la suite

The best thing about the hotel was that it allows pets.

I was going to cancel my reservation after reading the reviews but I'm glad I didn't. I was greeted at the desk by a very nice young lady who was very helpful. My room was very clean with all the amenities you could ask for. There was a T.V., refridgerator,microwave and coffee pot. with coffee and tea included. The 2 queen size beds were very comfortable. […] The furniture was up to date and very well kept. I also had a very nice breakfast there, that included waffles and sausage and help, if anything was needed. Maybe the rugs could be updated to a newer style to match the rest of the room but for a Saturday night, I walked away a very pleased customer for what I paid..I really am glad I ignored those old reviews. Not pleased with stay. Hotel in general was in need of a complete update. I made a mistake first and thought reservation was at days inn across the street, which looked much nicer. The interior corridors are very institutional. Our room was okay but one of the small towels had somethging on it that we preferred to know what it was. The people were very nice but the hotel was beat up and the halls were not air conditioned. They allowed animals in the rooms and the rugs had stains on them from who knows what. The surrounding area outside the hotel could not have been worse. The furniture, beds, and bathroom were nice, but I was afraid to walk on the rugs.

No elevator no help to carry up and down suitscases to upstairs. I called them beforehand to save a 1st floor room, but they didn't. Never recommend to who with lots of luggeges. Facilities are nice. Rooms are pretty neat.
