Hôtel très agréable très bien situé, à quelques pas des principaux centres d'intérêt de la ville et des zones de magasins et restaurants/bars - L'ambiance de l'hotel est très détendue avec un lobby agréable (canapés, écrans TV, accès internet libre, journaux) et un petit déjeuner varié. Une piscine et un centre de fitness sont situés au dernier étage (27ème) avec vue sur les buildings et la ville.

Demander une chambre du côté de la rivière, de préférence à distance de l'ascenseur. La vue est impressionnante sur les gratte-ciel qui bordent la rivière, car l'hôtel est dans un coude du cours d'eau et se trouve exactement dans son axe. Rien à dire sur la qualité du service et la propreté des chambres. La situation est parfaite entre le Loop et Magnificent Mile, tout est à portée de main pour un séjour réussi, y compris la boulangerie en bas pour le petit-déjeuner.
Situation

Belle architecture exterieure digne des plus beaux buildings de chicago . Design contemporain chic à l'interieur. Les chambres prestige suite king sont spacieuses et bénéficient d'une très belle vue . Très bonne réactivité des services de l'hotel en cas de problèmes ( safety box bloquée avec son contenu, ouverte en 30 mn à la perceuse !)Personnel accueillant […] et house keeping ( du 19è étage en tout cas )impeccable . Petit déjeuner bon et copieux. Enfin, cerise sur le gateau, son restaurant " le café des architectes "( testé 2 fois) mériterait à notre humble avis( notamment sur les entrées et plats viande x2 et crustacés x2 ) d'être étoilé Michelin. c'est l'hôtel pour un séjour à Chicago. Très bien situé pour visiter Chicago et faire du shopping (3 minutes à pied de Michigan avenue). le seul reproche : internet payant

Super pour la machine à café sans frais additionnel dans la chambre. Excellent service à l'hôtel. Par contre, service décevant à la salle à manger (pas de table disponible à l'heure de notre réservation, service lent et désorganisé, etc.)

My stay was supurb. I couldn't have asked for better accomodations. From the front door staff to the front desk staff and also room service and cafe staff. "Perfect Getaway"
We greatly enjoyed staying at the Sofitel. Being Francophiles anyway, it was nice to hear "Bonjour" every morning, even with a Chicago accent.

"Great Service!"
This is a great place to stay in Chicago! The hotel room and staff were top notch. The bed is so comfortable! We found the location to be perfect. The only downside was the price of drinks at the hotel bar but that is the case at most hotels. We will be staying here again. Hopefully soon!

"Sofitel - nice but strange smell"
The location and building is amazing. The room had a musty weird smell to it. We asked to change to another room, and after much back and forth, we were given another room, smaller, that had the SAME smell. So maybe it's a problem in the whole hotel.

The hotel was beautiful BUT hotel worker knocked on my door 4 x in 24 hours.. I think that was a lot.
for such a high end hotel, rooms were standard hotel fare. small, a bed and a desk and a chair.

"Quality and excellent location in Chicago"
I took my two children (ages 14 and 11) to Chicago for their Spring Break vacation. The hotel, its staff, and its location were excellent for us. The area was very clean and safe, and we had easy access to downtown locations and transportation. I will definitely return for future visits!

"Sofitel Chicago - lovely hotel off Rush Street"
The room was comfortable and very nicely appointed, with a huge bathroom. It was very close to Michigan Avenue and really convenient for meetings in River North. Also never had trouble getting a taxi when I was in a hurry.
High quality hotel locate in the heart of the Chicago downtown. Very luxury feel, good service and very clean

Nice location, great shopping and residential area. Hotel placed us on 6th floor out of 31 and in a handicapped room, with a view of a roof below. When I requested a change of room I was told changing was not an option. For the price (a suite) I would not stay there again.

The location is great - tucked off Michigan Avenue and with great views of the Hancock Building only a block or two away. "Stay at Sofitel"
The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The decor was comfortable. Did not like the over priced restaurant in the hotel, but overall, had a pleasant experience.

The amenities are the only reason I rated it a 4 - huge bathroom; very high-end freebies for body and hair care; cleaning service within hours of arrival; located within 1 block of water tower and great restaurants; nice lounge area; Here is why it's not a 5 - aside from bathroom, the room itself was too small to be a junior suite; not enough lighting […] and difficult to find; contemporary but mediocre decor; Overall, I left feeling that this was nice but not a great value for what I paid. Not exactly what I expected. On the 20 th floor-the view was of another building...the room is small almost as well a the bath tub...even the king sized bed seemed small... I would not stay there again. Very expensive for what is offered.

Updated, good food, clean-contemporary room, friendly-professional staff. Will absolutely make it my regular Chicago hotel.
I asked for plates and silverware which were supposed to be delivered to my room but never arrived.

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Very clean, staff was very helpful and kind and the beds are so comfortable. The location is right in the heart of Chicago and in walking distance of Rush street with many shops and restaurants. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

We brought our 6 month old baby with us and were very impressed with the hotel. The room was so clean that I had no problem letting our baby sit and play on the floor. We requested a crib and mini fridge, and the hotel provided both (no extra cost) and also gave us a baby "kit" that included baby shampoo, lotion, bib, and a cute stuffed bear. The room […] had a bath tub and separate shower, the linens were clean and comfortable.
