Hôtel trés calme, propre. Une piscine et un jacuzzi accessible à toute heure. Parfait pour profiter des golfs ou visiter Joshua Tree National Park et Palm Spring

nous y étions déjà allé et avons choisi d y retourner car nous apprécions la taille des chambres et la déco.l emplacement aussi.par contre très peu de monde, bar et rencontres quasi inexistant .si vous cherchez une grosse ambiance ce n est pas l endroit . mais en rapport qualité prix il est vraiment imbattable pour en avoir essayé plus d un à palm Springs

Palm Desert est une ville dédiée aux arts et faisant appel à tous les sens. Se voulant un musée sans murs, elle présente plus de 130 sculptures dans des halls publics, mais aussi sur des places et des trottoirs. Le McCallum Theatre accueille des spectacles venant de Broadway et des musiciens très connus. Les visiteurs en quête de souvenirs apprécieront El Paseo. Ce quartier dispose en effet de plus de 300 magasins, qui arborent pour la plupart des façades aux couleurs gaies.

The hotel room had one bathroom not two. The hotel would not fix the problem but offered to upgrade for $500. They didn't have cots or rollaway beds. Nobody helped. It's unfortunate because I travel for business all the time and book through hotels.com. Waited for 30 minutes to check in. Very disappointing. Only to be topped off with the room not being ready at 3pm. We didn't get into our unit until 5:30pm. "Easter Break"
Hotel room was not great. Plugs would not stay in and had to be held in place to dry hair etc. Bath tub jets did not work. Reported several times but never fixed. Tried to go for a morning swim around 9 a.m. and the pool was so filthy we couldn't. 5 or 6 dirty towels floating on top with other debris including plastic cups and multiple feces scattered […] around. Do not expect much at this resort or you will be dissappointed. Marriotts Shadow ridge was much nicer. Stayed there last month and would recommend. "Good spot close to Indian wells tournament"
Overall I used it for a comfortable stayover after the long day of tennis at the fabulous Indian WELLS Tennis GARDEN. The 10:oo am check out and 4:00 check in is not vacationer friendly,they should change to a 12 noon check out. I enjoyed the ambiance of the resort with the pretty ducks and nice views. "Noise and bother"
We had to change our villa immediately upon arrival due to noise from the companion property which is the Marriott Hotel. Directly across the intervening golf fairway is the power plant which supports the hotel and the constant loud sound of generators, or some other industrial equipment made the villas on that side of the property aggravatingly loud. […] It was impossible to hold a conversation on the balcony and the idea of keeping windows open could not even be considered. Once they moved us to the opposite end of the property that issue was resolved. It took an inordinately long time to be able to access our villa in the first place. We arrived at 2:40 PM and the villa was not ready for occupancy until 5:10 PM. By the time we had made the villa exchange which is described above, it was 6:30 PM before we had settled in. That's a big chunk of wasted time from anyone's holiday. The unending stream of phone calls and phone messages (at least once each day) inviting us to participate in timeshare lectures and other events occurring within the property really got on my nerves. "Ok after a rocky start"

"Highly recommend"
Wonderful! My family and I can't wait to go back. Our villa was perfect for our situation. My husband and I had our own large room with king size bed, patio access, TV, bathtub and vanity while our 3 small children slept in the large main living area on the hide-a-bed and sectional sofa, and Grandma and Grandpa had their own living quarters joined to […] us by a private foyer. Their large room contained 2 double beds a small fridge and coffee maker, a TV, a huge bathroom with shower and another room with a bathtub and vanity. They also had their own patio. In addition to the large sectional with hide-a-bed, the main living area in our part had lots of windows overlooking the golf course, patio access, a gas fireplace, a TV with DVD, a large kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer, dryer (everything you need!) and a dining table which easily sat all 7 of us. It was perfect and the beds were very comfortable. The service people were very helpful and friendly. Both golf courses were beautiful and in great shape. The kids loved the Shade where they had Wii, ping pong and other daily activities. They also loved the heated pools. Be sure to take in the free boat ride at the hotel and try the free 18 hole putting course too - bring lots of balls because there's water everywhere! "Gorgeous desert property"
The resort was beautiful and had all the amenities one could wish for. The added convenience of the Marriott hotel made it perfect. My one bedroom villa was lovely and very conveniently equipped. we only used the hotel as one night stopover, whilst travelling through California. The staff were extremely helpful, advising us when and how to do excursions that we had planned. we ate in the hotel that evening, the staff were really attentive, and really couldn't do enough for us. sadly we only stayed for one night, but would loved to stay longer […] to enjoy all the wonderful facilities ( it oasts 7 swimming pools!) but had a full itinerary planned ahead of us. One of the main features of this resort is the spa/gym. Even though it is not indicated on the website or in the literature, we were asked to pat $ 35/per person per day to use these facilities. A call to the office was met with a brusque reply about contractual arrangements with the spa management which is separate from Marriott. Not only do you get to hear your neighbors slamming their front door (your share an entryway with one other room) you get to hear it again in the morning with housekeeping. Having stayed at Desert Springs on numerous occasions over many years, I was disappointed to have discovered the new rigid and expensive check out policies of the property! Checkout is early - 10:00am - with a half an hour "grace period" - after which the management soaks you with HUGE fees for very short extensions. Overall our stay was great. The room was clean with a fully equipped kitchen, which was very convinient for us. The resort is big and perhaps a "golfer's dream come true".. huge, huge golf area. There is a $25 house keepping fee; we stayed three nights and all housekeeping did was drop off towels... did not even make the bed or change sheets. We went to the SW Marriott and payed a $15 fee to use the pool, the crowd was beautiful and the vibe exactly what we were looking for. "FIRST STAY AT VILLAS I"
By accident we booked Villas I this trip having spent prior visits in Villas II. Since we were very happy at past stays in Villas II (newer, seemingly better views, nice layout), we didn't know what to expect at Villas I this time. The unit we received was very nice on balance. The specs said it was larger in size ... about 250 sq ft for the 2-bedroom […] compared to Villas II ... and it did seem so. Several differences we noticed and appreciated ... sunken living room, working fireplace for chilly evenings, jacuzzi tub and shower in smaller bedroom, double beds in smaller bedroom vs rollout couch. We liked the layout of the smaller bedroom better than Villas II. So on balance Villas I DID work well for our family! And we would return ... to either Villas II or I now that we tried both. Most things remain the same ... but worth repeating. The shuttle service is very convenient to and from the Marriott Hotel. The Marketplace "convenience store" is convenient but VERY overpriced. There are other options within easy reach. The location of the Marriott Vacation Club Resort is close to all the places we like ... the mountains, restaurants, El Paseo, etc. Most likely will return again. P.S. our units have always been serviced daily which is very nice touch in these condos. We had a roof leak and a clogged sink and both were quickly addressed. Good job!
