l hotel est tres confortable mais ce qui est annonce est inexistant. You have to park and then walk into the lobby. You can't park right at the entry into the hotel. Was very satisfied with everything. The undergound parking was a real plus with the temperature at 100 degrees.

Our villa was large and comfortable with separate bedroom and convenient kitchen. The carpet & furnishings are showing wear but OK. Great location for walking to downtown and good restaurants. BUT...the Marquis advertises a "fitness center" which was quite pitiful. A couple machines all in need of repair/maintenance and three sets of dumbells - 20#. […] 40# & 60# - that's it. This was very disappointing. I also tried to get bottled water out of three different vending machines in the building. Machines took my money but no bottled water came out. Front desk did refund the money lost in the machines and told me the machines aren't stocked with water. Then why is it offered on the front of every vending machine??? Considering the cost of our stay, I expected a more updated facility and certainly a better equipped fitness center. Gates to pool & fitness center are chained off & closed until 8:00 AM which I found annoying & inconvenient. Lisez la suite

UNLESS YOU OWN A TIME SHARE HERE, DO NOT BOOK. The hotel section of this property is grossly outdated, run down and not kept. The Time share portion is very nice leaving unsuspecting hotel patrons to be massively disappointed. The beds are so broken down and there is no daily cleaning service.

Great downtown location. One bedroom suites are large with 2 bathrooms - great for sharing. The carpets in the rooms need to be upgraded and the beds are definitely past their 'use-by' dates. Large suite with full kitchen, large terrace, a little shabby, but has a swanky Dean Martin feel.

The hotel is definitely the largest hotel I've ever stayed in! A full kitchen, 2 full baths, and a giant living room and separate bedroom! The appliances and electronics are dated, but if you don't care about that and want a nice large room to stay in, and be able to cook some of your meals in house, this is the place!

Wifi not working in room. Housekeeping didn't do a very good job cleaning our room. The lounge chairs surrounding pool in poor condition. Carpeting needs to be cleaned as it is very filthy. We stay here because of it's location. The front desk was very helpful.

Disappointed that hotel was not at all that we expected. Internet pics were modern and clean looking. Appliances dated, bathroom rundown with taps that were very difficult to open and close. Rugs in hotel were disgusting, especially ones in the elevator, hallways and rooms facing the outer rim of hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodating but the room needed some serious TLC. The carpets were torn and stained, the couches/chairs were worn out but covered with newer covers, and the mattresses were thin and worn out. Great location though and the price was right at a 50% discount from hotels.com.

Although the hotel people were very helpful the hotel is in need of some seroius upgrades. The pull out sleeper was unusable. The furniture was very outdated. The overall experience I would not repeat or reccomend to any friends.

When we prepaid and reserved, we had no idea that we would be charged extra for using the hotel's pool. It was a complete surprise to be given a bill for a daily fees for using the resort facilities. We only sat at the pool and dipped in for about 5 minutes. We used no parking. We played no tennis. If we would have been told about a resort fee at check […] in, we would have opted out but who knows if they allowed guests to opt out. I cannot fathom the positive review for this place. Although the staff were very nice, the room was horrid. If all you are looking for is a large room with a kitchen and huge bathroom, then I suppose you will be happy here, but if you would like anything else, you are going to be gravely disappointed. The wallpaper was literally tearing off the walls, […] the television was from circa 1989, the oder was dank and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable (the blanket didn't even fit the size of the mattress). I think this would be an appropriate place to stay if all you are interested in is saving money and having a ton of space in the room, but if you want to enjoy your room at all and are not used to staying in low-quality motels, you are going to be very unhappy in the villas. I was surprised with the size of the room - very large for the price. Could have been very nice but there were a number of things that made the stay just so - so. Little things like no TV remote, shower not working properly, no iron in the room, etc. made it feel like the place isn't kept up. Location is great, though.

Very pleased with the size of the room and bathroom. Older hotel with good ammenities... pool, hot tub, gym, pool table. Super friendly staff. Loved the spaciousness of the room. It just needs a serious redecorating facelift. Room was clean and kitchen was great. Very close to the convention center.

Furnishings were sparse and rather "dinged up" but good for the value.

The decor may be antiquated yet the rooms are huge and clean, and the staff are polite and professional. Each suite is 1000 square feet with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a massive balcony. I recommend it to anyone traveling in a group or simply looking for a spacious bargain.

I loved the hotel the staff was very helpful and friendly our room was very clean and pretty big. The kitchen was stocked with everything you can possibly need and the bathrooms were HUGE. We will definatly stay here again when we go to palms.

Carpets of the hallway very crease and bad deterioration with holes need to be replase

Originally had 2 nights booked then added another night and then added 2 more nights for a total of 5 nights. The room is very large with 2 bathrooms and a fireplace, full kitchen, large bathtub. Very comfortable. A little loud because we were on the road side. The only problem is no internet in the room have to go to the end of the hall or down to […] the lobby. They have big porter dollies to bring up your suitcases to the room, very convenient. We would definitely stay again, you could stay a long time and be very comfortable here. This hotel is in need of remodeling. Most of the other reviews on this place are accurate about being out of date but clean ring true. I have two major complaints about my stay: 1. The thermostat on the heater was locked and I couldn't control room temperature. The room was set a 62 degrees and it was a very cool at night. When I called the front desk […] on the first day, they said they would send up maintenance when they got in and they would set the thermostat on override. This happened, but when we returned to our room that evening, the thermostat was at 62 degrees again. The override was still in effect, so I thought the maid turned the heat down and I changed the temperature. The next morning when we woke up, the room was again cool and the thermostat was set at 62. The problem with the thermostat is due to it's programming, and the override stays in effect until the next scheduled change in it's programming. 2. The mattresses are probably as old as the furniture and too soft. I had backaches each morning. My other complaints about this place are: No WIFI in the rooms, plus I booked a 1 bedroom King suite and got 2 Double beds instead. Lisez la suite

Great Location but the two units we rented were very much dated. The carpet had numerous patches, mattresses were soft and lumpy. The location was fantansic and if we were to stay there again we would request a UPDATED UNIT.

I could not believe that internet is so traumatic at this hotel. It is a very cool hotel but I CANNOT stay there again as I NEED internet in order to work. Only a few rooms have it and "we cannot guarantee it" said the front desk. The lower room (no view) had it and it worked okay.. then it stopped!!! I've stayed in this hotel before in the past. Have been going to Palm Springs for 20 years now. The rooms are huge and it is in downtown Palm Springs which is great...they just need to update the decor a lot.

We've now stayed here 3 times. Great location and great comfortable rooms! Rooms just a bit dated as could use new carpet. We will most definitely return again

Overall, its a great place to stay. BUT, the hotel needs a major overhall. Cabinets, appliances, beds, carpet, fixtures & almost everything else must be replaced. Plumbing issues also...

The location is great, easy walking distance to the casino, shops, and restaurants. The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. The hotel itself was clean, but rather outdated. My party and I checked in on Saturday December 31st and the outlets in our room were not working so we called the front desk and the maintanance guy came and stated that their was a switch that had to be turned on. As soon as he left we turned on the switch and still several outlets were not working as well as two lamps. The iron was also broken. The […] room size was big however it was out dated. The televisions were very small and the lights through out were very dimmed. The main shower's handle didn't work very well. We had to play with it for a while before getting it warm. The only thing that I was satisfied with was the bed it was comfortable everything else I was not satisfied with and will never stay there again nor I will recommend it to my friends or anyone I know. I originally booked 2 nights, then added another, then after seeing our room I added 2 more nights for a total of 5. It is just a few short blocks to downtown Palm Springs and next to the Spa casino. Many reviews said it was old but it is clean and very comfortable. My only complaint is the wi-fi is not in the room. You do not have to go down to the […] lobby you can get it at the end of the hallway. They have bellman carts in the parking garage to bring up your suitcases. Elevators a little slow. In general we liked the hotel and had a nice stay. The staff were especially nice and that makes a big differerece. We noticed, however the rooms over looking the pool had been updated. We had a few suggestions for improvement including: -repair 1 toilet that did not always flush completely - replacement TV remote in the bedroom with one that works - […] add additional equipment in kitchen such as dish soap, fry pan spatula, etc. - double bed a little soft in the middle possible should be replaced. Do not look further and book this hotel if you find any special price on this hotel. You get everything atleast 4 times worth of your money and a very nice elegant hotel with spacious suites (villas).

Great room (suite) and huge (double) bathroom and large balcony and kitchen. And fireplace! Great pool, spa and tennis courts. Perfect location to downtown Palm Springs; don't need car. I was aware of resort fee, and was OK. I believe there is no internet in rooms, only in lobby, but OK for me. Old fashioned (TVs, fittings), but work great. Again, WONDERFUL […] room (suite) & bathroom. Heater is a trifle noisy for sleeping in "living room" (sofa sleeper). Beds, Space, Cleaniliness, All the necessities, Great big Balconies, quiet space, just GREAT !

Okay, the bed drooped in the middle... Def needs an upgrade. The shower was like a fire hose, too hard & water splatter all over. My friend got a hot shower, however, I wasn't so lucky... Burrrrrrr!!!!!! The plus side was the staff. Wesley and Sarah saved me $40 on a cab & told us of a great bar/restuarant that we walked to (las casuelas terrazas, sooooo […] good), so it was great.
